I shop at London Drugs pretty frequently and typically have great service. I'm not sure if it was a…read morebad day for the customer service lady at the front, I won't name any names in case it was a one off. My car battery died and my portable booster also died, I didn't have any booster cables so after shopping I went back inside to ask if I can plug the portable booster in behind the counter so I can go wait with my kids in the car & see if I could find someone to boost me. The lady said straight up, "no". I asked her why not and she responded by saying "because I don't want to". I said "okay, I'd like to speak to your manager". She called her manager over and as we were waiting I was looking in front of me, and the lady gets defensive thinking I am staring at her name tag (which I was not), she rudely says "you don't need to stare at my name tag" as she flips it around. I responded with a laugh and said "I wasn't staring at your name tag, but great customer service", obviously sarcastically. Management arrived and this lady impatiently says "she wants to plug this in back here". Management looks at the plug and says, "okay, can we use this plug ?" And the lady says "I don't want to touch it." Then management suggests that I can plug it in inside of the entrance doors. I request again to put it behind the desk so I can go outside with my kids and she states that they don't want to touch it and I am not allowed behind the counter to plug it in myself. I appreciate her suggesting another outlet and I go to plug it in & wait inside the store at the entrance. As I am waiting the lady at customer service complains to management that I was staring at her name tag while we were waiting for her. I pop my head over and I tell them both that I was not staring at her name tag and she responds saying "omg" and rolls her eyes. I did after the fact look at her name tag, only because of her rudeness when I was just looking for some help. If you are reading this, try to be compassionate and kind because you never know what other people are going through. Most people aren't out to get you, I was just looking for some help so I wasn't left stranded. Plus, that's part of your job in customer service.

Zack came out and guaranteed all would work and would be so great, this was NOT the situation what so ever. I paid for the phones full price right out and then had to sign a contract with them so was a lot of money out of pocket, another big mistake. Long story as short as possible, their phones, system and programs they promised would work, DID NOT. Their customer service they promised was top not, WAS NOT. I had to repeatedly, over and over and over chase them for help and when they said they would work on it, DID NOT. When they said they would follow up, DID NOT Would respond to issues, DID NOT Between Zack, Spencer and James which seems to be the whole company all were very disappointing in customer service and keeping any word. So many times they said they would call or email and DID NOT. I kept logs of all the crap and lies they told which is a few pages long because after such bad service and working with 4 business over 10 years I have never seen such a bad company that in just a few months made the business go through hell, lost thousands of dollars in business, upset clients that couldn't get a hold of us, missed appointments, with missed calls, failing phone systems and programming issues that I could not run my business properly. Finally after speaking with my legal team and ready to take this matter to them, Telin finally decides to get back to me, finally admit their system cant' do the things they said, they can't fix their issues and agreed to cancel my contract but would not take back their equipment that is useless to us and a waste of money, (which I am still seeking legal services to clear that matter as well) I currently went back to Shaw, all free equipment, so much better and easy to use, 100% customer services, gave me so many free things, cheaper than Telin and a true company, I should of never went with a company that has no history or back bone. In previous visits I have noticed that prices remain a little steep compared to competitors (Michaels next door has similar drawing/artist pencils/Sharpies etc. and often run a 30% or 40% coupon off of one item - making it much cheaper than Michaels |you would think they would consider that | not to mention Amazon). Regarding ordering online, you would not believe how many times something standard will be available online or at another store in Calgary but this location is sold out. Lastly, the printing/fax shop - thank goodness their staff no longer deal with the shipping desk IE FedEx/Purolator) as well. It often cause massive lines.

He was patient and extremely knowledgeable. It took him two days to help me organize my cell phones for my business, but I honestly felt like he was my personal consultant. He fully explained how everything worked and I would give him a 10 out of 10! I had previously dealt with Best Buy for my electronic purchases, but I am now a loyal customer to staples for their great service and wonderful selection of products. However, Hipster-Spotting is a bottomless treat and the funnest way to kill some time before work. Granola clothes, a respectable vinyl collection, offbeat humor books, laughable trinkets - all is fair game and easily available. My favorite items are the T-shirts, and my favorite T's I have from Urban Outfitters are as follows: 1) Wooderson, with his trademark "alright, alright, alright" circling around his beautiful face. 2) Joy Division, "Love Will Tear Us Apart" and its 12' vinyl cover (sadly bleach stained) 3) Dr. Strangelove 7/30

On Saturday we had a plan to box up a Crosley turntable that my son had got for Christmas. He hadn't used it in months because he thought it was wrecking his records. So we called the store to see what our options were and she said, "Bring it in". So we drove form out of Calgary to Chinook Mall hoping that things might work out. Well they did. Our son was able to get another name brand turntable instead of returning the Crosely to the factory by mail. Thank you, thank you Laura. You rock! And ps welcome to the friendly city of Calgary :-)

But of course, I would have to try my luck and call on the day of the shipment. They haven't got a shipment in for awhile so they don't know when but should be soon. I later walked around the store and I have to say. Yes it was quiet on a weekday but the layout is pretty good. Its spacious and comfortable to walk around. Good exercise and you get to browse the store.
