Open Box Sunridge has the WORST customer service and products. In September 2018 I bought a laptop for $450 that the manager insisted was top quality and the best in the store. He insisted it would last me through school. Which would be 4 years. 4 months later I brought it in because it wasn't working. Not to mention it never connected to any internet and could not be unplugged from the charger without working. They diagnosed it "for free" when they are the ones who sold me this garbage. The hardrive was shattered and it was blamed on me. When I never once dropped the computer. Why they use the blame game I don't know. A new one was put in and we went on our way. Still having constant issues I no longer could bring it to school because it would not load anything. Which is the main reason I need it. Now at 9 months of having this, with using it maybe 6 times in the last 3 months, the processor completely went and my computer will not turn on or work at all. So I go in and talk to an associate about it. They say it it's past warranty but we can do a free diagnostic. I tell him it has never worked and I'm beyond frustrated. He then plays the blame game AGAIN. saying that the care I put into my computer is the care I will get out of it. And relates it to buying a used BMW car. Saying you don't necessarily know what you're getting and I should have bought the warranty. I thought that spending beyond $400 would guarantee the good use of the laptop and they did as well. I feel tricked and quite frankly ripped off. Now I'm waiting a week later and still have not heard from them. So I get my boyfriend to call because I'm thinking maybe they have problems talking to a woman with respect and the guy on the other end was awful. Yelling at us on the phone and literally threatened us. Saying we should go down and talk to him in person if this is how we want to deal with things. They sent it out saying they ordered a new processor free of charge and that they "did not have to do that". Then I ask what if it cannot be fixed? And he beats around the bush. Then later in the conversation while still yelling, claims that it may not be in on the specified date he had JUST mentioned. We had then hung up the phone due to this customer service being beyond disrespectful. We were then called 3 times from the same man to get nowhere further in the conversation of what to expect of my laptop. So out of all of this, I basically spent money on a piece of crap computer that has never worked and more than likely will have future issues if even fixed. And they will not do anything about it. I will never buy from here again and would advise anyone I can not to go there. If zero star rating was possible they would win the cup. read more

I bought a Thinkpad at open box yesterday. They came highly recommended to me from a close friend. I found the staff excellent and very helpful and explained the difference in computers. I had made the right choice in a Thinkpad. It's great for small business ( I've had one used already for 5 years) They were even going to move everything from the cloud into the new one. Thugs Thugs n only Thugs Having a dead phone compels one to find a solution as in today's world A MOBILE IS A MUST! Now, I went there for a solution only to get thugs ! They gave me temporary phone till they repair my current phone where I PAID 450$ ,this includes repair of my current phone plus the NEW TEMPORARY PHONE( which was mine to keep) ! Had I known that this is what I am going to PAY IN TOTAL (not having known the temp phone world only work 3 days), I would probably not get into the trap , cos the phone I was given only worked for 3 days n then failed completely ,after 4 days I receive a call ,that my phone is ready n that the temp phone died , they said MY ORIGINAL phone is ready n they cant replace the TEMP phone as it was A TEMP PHONE! so all in all i paid 450$ for the repair & they took away the TEMP PHONE AS IT WOULD NOT GET REPAIRED( at least I was told so!) so I GOT MY PHONE REPAIRED IN $450 !! I went here to buy a computer for a new job. I hate computers because I know nothing about them and I get confused. All the other stores treated me like a moron, which is I suppose true. But I wanted to buy a product and I needed help. I found the people here non-judgmental and instructive. They asked me questions about the job so that I would get the right thing. Weeks later I had a problem with the computer and went in for help. No issues,they repaired it in one day no charge. I have already recommended them to others who have also been pleased. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Went there for a black Friday sale in November, they had advertised very cheap macbooks. Told me after I paid for 2 (kids Christmas presents) that they didn't have any in stock but they would call me "in a few days". Never called. I followed up with them 3 times and finally the day before Christmas they told me they wouldn't be getting them in...but they would give me a great deal on a newer MacBook. So like a fool I paid up for the newer MacBook. Got a 3 month warranty, in the middle of month 4 one of the computers stopped working. Called the Openbox manager, he said "tough luck the warranty is up". So I took it to a repair shop and the tech said there is too much wrong to bother fixing it. Most of the parts are from different years and appeared to be put together with hot glue. The tech was not surprised...he gets a lot of customers from Openbox. These crooks are as dishonest as they come. I sincerely doubt they ever had the cheap macbooks they advertised in the first place. Try somewhere else! read more
