These people are scam artists and are selling fake knock off Nintendo Systems that are absolute garbage. Stay away from this store and never give them your money. The advertising said they have NES classic retro systems but when we got home it was a system called CoolBaby. Yes it has 600 games but none of them are Nintendo except horrible versions of Mario Bros. The rest of the games are useless and likely won't entertain you for 3min. The system didn't even work unless we wiggled the HDMI cable. When we tried to return it we were told there are be returns and were very rude and possibly on drugs. read more

I would not recommend this company and their inability to correctly swap out a cracked screen for a new one. Unfortunately I did not do my due diligence and read through the reviews before making a $460 purchase to replace my Samsung Ultra Note 20 screen, that's on me, I was panicking and just wanted to fix the issue. Upon thinking I resolved the issue, within 2 weeks of replacing the screen, an unknown black dot showed up on my screen. I called the company and was told to bring my phone in, as I had a 30 day warranty. When I returned to the store to show them my phone, than I was informed 30 day warranty only applied to Apple Phones and Samsung was only 7 days (how ridiculously convient) upon inspection from the person who had repaired my phone, he had no explanation, he said there was no signs of damage, no drop or water damage and in 20 years he had never seen something like this happen, he was speechless. Than he asked to take my number and said he would call me when they got in touch with their manufacturer to see if they would "maybe" warranty it, but I was out of warranty by 7 days. So I waited for the phone call, that didn't come. I called 3 days later to check in, she explained that their manufacturer was on a different time zone and to just give her the weekend to get ahold of them. Weekend passes, I give them till the following Wednesday, call leave a voice-mail, still don't receive a call back. Call back again a couple hours later, they answer and nope they haven't heard from the supplier still. And they will call me when they do. My phone like most people is used in my day to day, as we'll as to run my small bussiness that keeps me in contact with clients. They have made zero effort to keep me updated or keep in contact, I feel like I am constantly chasing them for answers, they have not made any offers to repair my screen, offer me some kind of compensation for something that is clearly their error and now I am stuck ordering a replacement phone, because my current one I thought was repaired, is no longer able to be used. So that is a total loss of $1000 in a short 30 days, when I should have just skipped using this company all together and went straight to the source to get it replaced. So be warned, do not use this company, it's a waste of time and money and clearly from past reviews, the customer is always wrong according to them. read more

The iPhone stand for car dashboard was bought at this place, wasn't working at all so I came to return it and was told by the woman at the counter that I didn't set it up correctly, ok I then tried to make it work as they were telling me and it wasn't working again. I came back for the second time trying to return the item, had to wait for 15 minutes and then was told by the same woman that my car's windshield was not clean and that is why it wasn't working, but that is not true. In the end she did not refund the whole amount, she hold $5 because the sticky part of that stand had some dust. Really? You're holding $5 only for that? So you still had $5 off me even I did not get what I wanted and what I paid money for. Terrible experience. I took a phone to this store to have the screen replaced because it was broken. Upon getting it home, I noticed that there was a bit of grit under the glass that made part of the touch screen unusable, and the front camera area was fogged with condensation, which made face ID and the front camera unusable. These issues were not present when I gave the phone to the store to repair, and it has never been exposed to water. When my husband brought it back to the store today to have these problems fixed they claimed we must have been responsible for them, although it's physically impossible for us to lift the screen and insert grit, and the phone wasn't even used between the time the problem with the grit and condensation were noticed. They refused to honour the 30 day warranty on repairs that is clearly stated in signage in the store and replace the screen to its original condition. read more

Took it to Apple where they said Cell Phones "R" Is damaged internal hardware, didn't put back 2 screws and replaced the screen with some garbage product they claimed to be an authentic Apple screen. All this started when I asked them to put the screws in and show me proof that the screen was an authentic Apple Replacement screen. No wonder they have an F rating from the BBB. My phone fell in the toilet (LOL) and the screen was not working. I called many cellphone repair shops and this happened to be the cheapest. I walked in and told the owner about the problem. She told me that the repair would cost somewhere between $55 to $75 depending on the damage. My phone ended up just needing a screen repair which was just $55. What I like about this place is that they are honest and won't charge you extra for nonexistent problems, which is something that service shops are notorious for. There is no bullsh*t here. They identify the problem and charge you for exactly what is wrong. My phone is now working perfectly. Also they have a loyalty program and the owner is very sweet and friendly. Overall, I am very satisfied! read more

This business does not conduct themselves as is expected with Canadian businesses. BBB has them rated as an 'F' on an A-to-F scale. That says it all. I chose this place because their kijiji ad boasts about their expertise. I was willing to pay more than what others are charging if the job would be done right the first time with quality parts. First, I arrive and the price has jumped up from what they advertise on kijiji. They are not willing to honor the price because they 'had not got around to updating the ad'. That should have been the first and last red flag. The repair was not done in the timeframe they indicated. No apology provided. I can get over waiting longer if it is going to be fixed right. They smoke in the building where they provide services to the public. Seriously...this is 2015 in Alberta. Disgusting. (second red flag) When they return the device, the screen is dirty with fingerprints. I just paid a premium price for a dirty screen? When I asked if they could clean it, she gives me a kleenex and tells me to clean it myself. Shouldn't a product be returned to a consumer in the same or better condition? Hmmmm....again 2015 and in Canada where cleanliness is important. (third red flag) When I indicated that I did not think I would come back to this store, her reply was "that's okay". Not sure if she is clueless how businesses run or if she is simply racist. (fourth red flag) The "diploma" on the wall is a photocopy and I question how legit it is or how many exist (fifth red flag) I was happy to get out of the smoky shop but wouldn't you know that it was not fixed right after all. This meant another trip back to this gross shop BUT they did fix it right when it was returned. Which is why it gets one star instead of no-stars. And yes...still smoking on the second trip as well. I love to give good reviews to people who deserve them but I am willing to be honest about the lack of integrity, workmanship and pride of this store and the people who work here. If this was the last place in Alberta to get a device repaired....I would just go buy another one. If I could give this place a zero star review I would! Avoid this place at all costs. I went in to get my cracked phone screen replaced, went in to pick up my phone and realized the screen was incredibly low contrast and a constant green light where my camera should be. I went back in to ask her why it looked that way and she explained to me that they use a 3rd party provider for shitty quality screens and "that's why you pay 300 at apple and 80 here." I would have liked to know that before spending my money on this cheap garbage. I have to go get it replaced again today (went to Dr. Cell and he said that my phone should absolutely not look like that, and I that should be fighting for my money back) because the contrast is so low I can't see my emails, therefore do my job. They replaced the screen TWICE on our iphone 4, charged us each time. The first time it was our issue, but then that screen broke, we replaced, it broke again and they refused to accept any responsibility. How gives a 30 day warranty on work? I heard them try to sell another customer an android PC for $400 that you can buy on ebay for $40. Best service in the city. Replaced my battery because it was dying after 5 hours, and now my battery lasts the whole day.

Unfortunately my only experience with this store was not a positive one. After brutally beating my son unconscious and stealing his phone, at least one of a group of thugs ditched his SIM card and sold the phone to this store. No ID was required and they were paid in cash most likely not for the first time. Not only was the store uncooperative in providing any helpful information but they wanted to charge my son to get his phone back. Beware..... Took my Ipad in for repair of a cracked screen and now it does not turn off when the case is closed or turn on when the case is opened. I called to tell them about what was happening and the lady on the phone said she I had to change some settings. I said I would try that and call back if it didn't work. I tried each one and it did not make a difference. I called back a few minutes later and she threw out several excuses about no guarantees when repairing, it wasn't working when it came in (was working perfectly) then she said she couldn't do anything for me and hung up on me. I honestly don't know why these guys don't get enough credit. These guys made me feel extremely comfortable with them and they did everything really fast. They replaced the screen and the charging port the first time but the screen didn't seem to work so I took it back and they fixed it for free no problem and it's working perfectly now! I am recommending this place to like all my friends and am for sure coming back next time I break my phone haha read more

Be aware!! They will not stand behind their work. When I had the screen on my phone replaced by them I noticed that my WIFI signal was weak, I returned to the store the next day and was told that it was an issue with my phone and had nothing to do with the screen replacement, and they could take a look and see what it would cost to repair it. I of course declined and left the store upon leaving I called the manufacturer of my phone and told them of my issue they informed me that the WIFI antenna has to be detached in order for the screen to be replaced. They may be cheap in price but it will cost you much more to resolve any issues caused by their lack of knowledge and lack of customer service. read more

This place was wonderful. They were friendly, and fixed my iPad by replacing the glass far cheaper than the apple store would have. For the size of the store the place was consistently packed full of customers both when I dropped off my device and when I picked it up a couple of hours later. Should I ever need my products fixed again I will surely drive out of my way to visit them again. read more

When I attempted to return or exchange it they refused to deal with me in any way. TOTAL JOKE and sketchy place! Had my iPhone screen replaced, the next day the touch screen part wasn't working. When I was going to bring it back the staff had the shop closed for well over a month. Lucky for me I didn't use this as a phone to make calls and when I did get it in about 3 weeks after they returned opened, I was told I was over the warranty date. Even though they were closed for over a month of that time and tried over to go and call, they wouldn't honor the warranty. Then I had them fix the touch screen again and when I got the phone back the SIM card tray was missing and they told me I brought it in like that! Then the male who fixes the phones tried to "trade" me my 6 plus for 2 old outdated ipods telling me I was getting a "good deal"! Within an hour the touch screen quit working totally............I question whether or not they actually even put a new lcd in as the screen was not cracked so I wouldn't have been able to for sure know. Avoid like the plague... we got our screen fixed because it was cracked. But before we got it fixed, the screen was responsive. After getting the screen fixed, it started to act really funny. It was bouncing around on it's own and doing random things. We got a second one to replace that one, and it did the same thing. They said that it could be something wrong with the phone. Then upon having a small crack in it, it stopped working on the bottom half of the screen. Couldn't make calls, couldn't type, nothing. Took it to apple to get it fixed and sure it enough, whatever they did, royally messed up the phone beyond repair. They couldn't get it to calibrate properly and had spent 1.5 hours trying to get it to calibrate. Had to get a replacement phone as they couldn't do anything else for the phone. Morale of the story, you get what you pay for and honestly it wasn't worth the $85 that we paid since ended up costing us more and was a huge hassle. Also those 3rd party screens are crap. They are more fragile than actual apple products. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I went to get my iPhone 5s screen replaced thinking I was getting a good deal. Well it was flinching out their was fading around the edges. It was just not working. So I brought it back and said ok my screen stops responding and it's just not working. Well they blamed it on my phone. Said it was a software issue. So I brought it to the Apple Store and they told me it was the screen. It was a third party screen that was causing the issues. I could believe it. WARNING: Do not use this company! I don't normally do this because I am an educated individual who understands that there are always two sides to a story, and originally I was actually going to write a great review for Cell Phones "R" Us, but because of the experience I just had I have to tell my story as a warning to others! Me and my husband both had our screens replaced by this company and had to return two days later due to one screen not working and a case we bought there had broken within the week. We used them once more a month later to replace another screen and bought a charger. Within four days the charger and screen protector were both broken. When we returned to exchange the charger (which we were told had a 60 day return policy) the employee working said it was our fault the cord was damaged, and our fault the protector was lifting up from the Screen. We asked how since it has only been four days? Then the "owner" started to scream at us when we expressed our frustration at their going back on their word, and told us he never said that and that's not their policy. My husband and me were both shocked that a store "owner" would speak to us like that and were rather polite considering the circumstances. We asked to talk with him calmly and maturely as he yelled about our attitude and then told us to leave the store calling us "little bitches" and other profanities, and threatening to fight my husband, even following us out to our car in the parking lot as we were already leaving the store. He seemed to get even more upset when my husband would not fight him saying "you're a little bitch, you're just going to hide in your car!" No, no one is going to fight you over a $15 phone cord! Whether this was their policy and we were confused or not it is extremely unprofessional and terrible customer service. You cannot treat people (especially customers) like this, and it's not the first time. The first time we used them there was another upset customer in the store that two employees were being belligerent too as well - makes sense now why that customer was upset. Their products and workmanship are shoddy (proven by how many times we had to return and get items replaced by them) and clearly their employees and the "owner" do not care about their customers or their services. We understand we are partially to blame, we chose a company that has an F grade on the BBB and isn't even registered because they were cheap. Please do not make the same mistake and give then your business, there are way more decent companies that deserve your money and who will actually respect you in the process! read more

Complete shit. That's all I can say. I had a cracked iPhone 5s screen and it was working perfectly fine, it only had a couple cracks in the screen. Took it in was told it would only be an hour. Come back in an hour and I'm told it will be ready the next day and they would call me. They never called for 3 days. I called them several times over the 3 days and was ignored or rudely talked to. I went in and demanded to have my phone back and they said they had to "put it back together for me" waited around 40 mins. The phone they gave me DID NOT WORK what so ever. Completely broken totally different screen would not turn on for the life of it, when I confronted them they said it was dead. No it was not dead it was broken. Needless to say I needed to buy a completely different phone because they fucked it up so bad.
