This will be our 3rd year as a family at the Co-op and I can't recommend it more for not only your…read morekiddo, but also the community that comes with it. It is so nice to get together with like-minded parents that just want a place where their kids can play and explore. You yourself get a chance to be in the classroom and help out, play and see all of your kids' friends interact. Soon you will be getting your feet in the sand yard, going to parent meetings where the teachers will give you tips on how to calm your child during a meltdown, and you will talk to other parents and see that you're not alone. Some examples of community that I can think of during our time are the parent meetings, potluck events, a camping trip, and events at school where everyone is welcome for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When we had our second child, and EECP knew we were finally home, we got a few gifts delivered for our new baby, but also a couple of big brother gifts and books from the school. When I'm at work and I get some photos sent to our parent group message board of what the kids are doing that day, it makes you wish you were at school that day instead of sitting behind a desk. Those are the times I know that we got lucky to find the EECP and other involved parents and teachers. One other thing I remembered that I enjoy is the stuff that our kiddo brings home. It is not just paintings that will soon be on your fridge or decorated shoe boxes, but also stories and music. Our 3-year-old would come home from school and teach me about Mardi Gras. He insisted on Mardi Gras songs being played in our home. He enjoyed dancing and marching and was explaining how parades worked, as if I had no idea what one was. It was so much fun to finally go to school and see all the kids parade around in fun costumes and carry around little decorated shoe boxes they made in class. This is just one of the events that we've loved as a family and now as a community.

Kids learn through play, and those lessons are at the heart of the EECP program. If you've read the research that shows kids learn best through play, especially at this age, EECP should be on your list. This is the only truly play-based co-op in central Phoenix. We have also found a community of likeminded parent friends. This has been a great community for our family.

ZERO STARS! ZERO STARS! ZERO STARS!…read more Before considering to work here and ask questions thoroughly. They put kids ON TIME OUT. That's absurd. Also, when I was applying, the director was "nice" but once I got the job her attitude changed. Very inconsiderate, very disrespectful and rude because when I was scheduled to do a "TB test" she immediately thought I did a no call no show! Then fired me. Didn't even give me a chance. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. (Also I tried applying again and the disrespect is through the roof!)

The professionalism and care of the staff has been exceptional, especially during the challenging economic and covid times. Margot (the director/owner) has been a great coach to us as the parents and to our daughter as she transitioned from home care to day care, walking us through what to expect as our daughter started and adapted to preschool. By the end of the first week our daughter was cheering (YAAAAAY!) when we got to school and does a stomping dance as we walk toward the entrance. We've also learned that if we pick her up during afternoon recess, she cries because she's not ready to leave. This is a great, clean, and well-organized center that our whole family appreciates. Margot runs a tight ship and you can see how much she cares by how involved she is with every classroom and coordinating drop off and pick up. We have watched out daughter grow mentally and physically as she learns to interact with other kids, follow directions, and do arts and crafts. I'd highly recommend PPP and it was a shining light standing out in the limited daycare/preschool options in midtown and we are glad to have found it.

Also, I would have to advise the director several times of a soiled diaper at pick up, would have to forced them to change him before leaving the building. Once he moved up to the pre-ones room I picked him up with blood from his mouth and on his shirt , after falling and no one called me. When I arrived to pick him up I rushed him to the doctors to be examined, and he had boasted lip and chipped teeth from the fall. The teacher swore nothing happened and blamed it on teething . I called the police and disenrolled my son. I also informed the state because of their negligence, and no documentation of the incident and no first aid provided to my baby. There are no valuable teachers that enjoy working here. The quality of care is the same as its surrounding neighborhood, with is bad.

Everyone was so nice and had smiles on their faces. The rooms were clean and organized. I noticed each room had boards with the curriculum, kids allergies, schedule, etc. The school was very clean!! Also this academy is education based, not like your typical preschool where kids just play and go a couple days a week. They pride themselves on providing value to children and their parents. I was blown away! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

You just know she puts in a ton of work behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. The teachers are the best. They truly love what they do, and it feels like more than a job to them. My girls adore their teachers, and they're kind of like their little second family. They talk about their teachers outside of school a bunch so it really has a positive impact. The classrooms are always clean, which stood out to me when I toured several schools at the beginning. There's always a great mix of activities, and the kids spend plenty of time outside getting fresh air. Between my two daughters, we've had a child in every age group at some point, from infant to pre-K, and the care has been consistently great. When one of my girls had a phase of some behavioral challenges, the staff worked with us as a team to figure it out instead of pushing us away. Within a few days, things got better and she moved on from that phase. That's the kind of personal touch you get with a smaller school. They send pictures and updates, and it's just such a comforting feeling to know your kids are safe, happy, and having fun every day. We love Amore!

In the first month, it took him some adjusting and he was refusing the bottle while at daycare. As a first time parent, I was so worried about it but the director and staff at Amore were diligent in finding a solution and making our child comfortable. Definitely helped lift a load off my shoulders. It seems like all the staff knows my little baby and he smiles when he sees them. We have been incredibly impressed with their nurturing, caring and professional approach to child care. We are so grateful for their team. I love being able to see photos and communicate with the staff via their app as well. It's so nice to read about what they have been up to that day and see a picture or two to break up my work day. The monthly Parent's Night Out was great for us as well because we didn't have a babysitter that we trusted in the early months. We had a few hours to ourselves while our child spent time in an environment we knew he was cared for and safe. Analiese and her team really work hard to meet the needs of your child and they really put a lot of work into their daily activities for the children's social, physical and intellectual growth. My husband and I have so much appreciation for Amore.
