We love FPC great place ran by great people!! My kiddo has a great time and always asks to return. Family camp in the fall is a fun way for parents to also experience the camp life in a weekend.

The pros were that my kid liked the camp experience and their curriculum. The cons were that they had to mail the photo album (that I paid for in advance) to my house instead of giving it to my kid so that he could have his friends sign it like everyone else was doing at the time. Second. Lots of my kids clothes got lost even though I marked every piece clearly. Instead I got back lots of clothing that belonged to other kids and 2 pairs of adult underwear. HMMM!!

My son had an excellent first time camp experience here and he'll be returning next summer with his younger sister.

I have stayed in both the guest cabins as well as the camper cabins in both camps and they are as decent as a camp cabin can get. I know they are in the process of renovating and building more cabins. The dinning hall provides an excellent variety of food for picky eaters and those with special health requirements. The medical team is always working around the clock and is prompt to all emergencies. The services are so thought out and a blast for all the kids. So impressed with the summer staff and their heart though. They are so dedicated to insuring the enjoyment of all the guests and help the camp run so smoothly. This camp is one of the best I've been to.

I grew up going to summer camp in Prescott during my teenager years. Not long ago, I had an…read moreopportunity to volunteer as a cabin leader at UCYC during the summer. It was my first time at this particular camp and it brought back many memories of my camp days growing up. UCYC is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that is affiliated with the Independent Christian Churches in both Arizona and Nevada. UCYC (United Christian Youth Camp) started in the 1950s. UCYC has both summer and winter camps. They offer a number of activities for the kids. Activities include a zipline, swimming pool, basketball, paintball and archery. The campus is pretty large and includes a dining hall and main auditorium for larger gatherings. My only knock about this camp is the long walk from some of the cabins to the other side of camp where the dining hall is. Walking that far three times a day for food got old quick. But the food wasn't too bad for camp food. I am big fan of kids unplugging from their devices and going to camp to have fun and meet new friends. Some of my best times as a youth were at camp. It is a great place for kids to grow in their faith too. I had a blast being a leader and getting to know other leaders while I was here at UCYC.
