I have looked into many schools and daycare's to put my daughter into, and time after time was disappointed. This school has been the only one so far that not only meets my expectations for care for my 3 year old daughter, but far surpasses them. It is at a church that is completely gated in, but not affiliated with the church. The grounds feel very safe and secure and the classrooms are adorable and set up perfectly for children. It is always kept clean and neat. The children are fed healthy organic meals that are cooked on site in the kitchen and served to them in a family style setting in the classroom. My daughter has a newfound love for hummus and eats both lunch and snacks, to complete satiety, on a daily basis. Her teacher is an absolute delight to work with and Kennedy looks forward to seeing her everyday. The school is very new so there are not very many in her class which means the children get 1 on 1 attention almost always. My favorite thing besides the teachers and organic food is that they take the children outside to the garden and playground daily and teach them to water and harvest fruits and vegetables, which is a skill that I believe everyone should learn. I never thought Id find a place that I trusted to leave my daughter at from 8am-6pm while I'm at work but I trust them completely and am elated that we found such a great home away from home for her to learn and grow on a daily basis. read more

We love this place. Great school. My son has fun daily. The transition to start our son in daycare / preschool was terrifying to me, (we had a bad experience at another school in the area). After touring just about all of the Montessori schools in the area as well as local pre-schools, we ultimately made the decision to enroll our son at CHP right around his 2nd birthday. We made this decisions based largely on the fact that Terence and Emma (the Directors) took the time to speak with us and understand our family. My son has been at CHP for about 9 months and this experience has been very positive. He has a great time and he his speech and social skills have benefited greatly!! He looks forward to his time with his little friends and the teachers at CHP. The school is a loving environment and communication is kept open at all times. They are quick to respond if I have a question and it is clear that they genuinely care about the well being of the children. They've even accommodated our son with specific dietary limitations / challenges and they are sympathetic to this subject, which was our #1 priority. I would consider myself an individual with high expectations and thus far the school has been a blessing to our family. ****The school seems to appreciate the importance of keeping ratios low per teacher and they put a strong emphasis on hiring quality staff. We are so lucky we found this preschool! From our first meeting with Emma and Terence, we could see how excited and passionate they are about what they do. They provide a structured educational program that incorporates imaginative and outdoor play -- and I would argue that their facilities are the icing on the cake. It is a large lot on church property right off 32nd street. It serves as a quiet retreat from the busy city environment, with lots of room to roam outside in fenced-in, shady areas during play time (truly comforting to rural midwestern parents). The facilities also have a passcode-locked gate and locked doors. Even if it didn't have a gate, I wouldn't have any concerns because the church is located in a sleepy old neighborhood -- another big plus. The indoor learning environment is small, home-like, VERY clean, and full of learning materials. It's also fantastic that they provide healthy, fresh meals and snacks throughout the day (breakfast is a big plus with a sleepy/grumpy kid). Emma and Terence truly care about these children and their learning environment, and are continuously dreaming up ways they can improve and expand their program to better serve the kids. Our daughter is excited to arrive in the mornings, and is never excited to leave in the evenings! It's safe to say she loves it. read more

This is my daughter's second time at CHP and I am SO happy we are back. I found CHP in January of 2019 after my daughter had a really awful experience at a daycare center. Terence was very understanding of our situation and extremely helpful in getting her enrolled and adjusted to the new environment. She left in August of 2019 to attend an elementary school and came back just this month during COVID-19 when all the other schools had shut down. I reached out to Terence to see if they were open and they were and they were able to enroll my daughter right away. I am a single working mom and the fact that they were not only open during the pandemic, but taking extra precautions gave me the peace of mind I needed to feel ok sending her to school while I went back to work. The teacher's are so wonderful with the kiddos and Emma and Terence take so much pride in their school and it really shows. The school is absolutely spotless and the kids have so many learning activities that they take part in throughout the day. And I can't say enough about the food they give the kids. This is one things I struggle with sending my daughter to a public school; the kids eat crap, but here they get healthy meals and snacks. We love CHP and are so sad to leave it behind as our daughter enters Kindergarten in August. They truly care for the students. They are nurturing and patient. My daughter always came home telling us something new she learned. She always surprised me with the knowledge she came home with. Like the reason things float in water which involved something with molecules separating! I had to look it up. Ha! They have a very well rounded curriculum that includes art, music, and they learned a lot about dealing with their emotions and how to fill their classmates buckets! On top of all of this they cook the kids a super healthy lunch! No nuggets or gold fish here. They have an actual cook who is passionate about the food she served the kids. They were always trying new things and so much fruit and veggies. Breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks are included in your tuition! They even have a little garden they involve the kids in. The owners Terrance & Emma are amazing communicators, easy to reach, and talk to. The teachers were amazing! They were so nurturing, patient, and kind. We are going to miss CHP. read more

Both of our daughters (1 and 3) started at CHP this fall and we absolutely LOVE it there! This is the first time our kids have been in a school setting as they were with family full time before, and they both transitioned amazingly well. The staff and teachers are so kind and caring and you can tell they love what they do, and are so wonderful with the kids. They have excellent communication, provide organic snacks and meals, and have music once a week which our girls love. They post a menu so you can see what they're eating each week and it is a life saver not having to pack any food! They also have the option to enroll in a soccer program that comes to the school weekly in the fall which has been great for our 3 year old to participate in without adding an extra weekend commitment like it would if we had to do it elsewhere. They also have free before and after care and there's ample parking so pick up and drop off are a breeze. Overall, we are so thrilled we found CHP and cannot recommend enough. Our 3 year old even asks to go to school when she wakes up on the weekend which says a lot! read more

The moment we saw the classroom, my son, Will, fell in love with it and since then was looking forward of going to preschool!!! For two weeks, the only hard part of leaving was the first day, after that he'll just stay and will wave goodbye, everyday! We are so happy cause we see progress - everyday! Teacher Emma is an awesome teacher! She have her way with kids. Will is actually applying things that he learns from preschool to our home. The main focus on good manners is being applied by Will at home. He now actually sits with us and eats his food using fork, on his own. He cleans up after playing even without being told. He is also using more "please" and "thank you's". He is learning to share and socialize with kids his age. He is learning so much in a very short period of time and we are so happy about it! We really love the school and we appreciate teacher Emma so much! Will looks forward of going to preschool everyday and ready to learn new things! read more

We are SO HAPPY with Camelback Holistic Preschool! We happened upon this school when looking for a new school for our daughter and it surpasses all of our needs! We went on a tour and immediately fell in love. Emma and Terence spent over an hour with us. They played with our daughter, walked us through their daily schedule and curriculum, and showed us the beautiful play area and organic garden. We immediately signed her up. The hands on environment, one-on-one attention, and play-learning is exactly what we were looking for and our daughter is thriving and learning! Within two weeks, our daughter is already surpassing our expectations and we can already see how much she's learning and growing. Emma's specific attention and passion for each child's needs is wonderful and very appreciated. The grounds are very secure with a key code to get in the gates and the doors are always locked to keep everyone safe. We are so happy with this school! read more

We enrolled our older son at CHP last year and we are more than happy with the school. In only a few months our son learned the alphabet, sound recognition and even started to read. Now we are confident that he is well-prepared and ready for kindergarten later this year. Besides all the friendly teachers and staff, they also have a chef who prepares the kids' meals daily. Everything is healthy and cooked from scratch. They not only teach the children the importance of academics but also the importance of good health and social skills. We are so lucky to have found Camelback Holistic and to live so close. Their flexible hours (with early drop off and late pick up), ability to go 2 or 3 days a week, and the fact that they make my son breakfast and lunch are game-changers for childcare! They have high quality teachers and their app and newsletter are great for communication. My son started at 14 months in the 1year old room and is now in the 2 year old room. They have great teachers and aids and I am amazed and how much my son learns at this school. They also have a soccer program which has been incredible! Highly recommend this preschool!. read more

My son attended to this school from the first day of opening! We visited First open day of this school - and we were fall in love of atmosphere! Very nice, clean, warm to heart Place, new equipment and big playground. My son started to talk at home some English words (he is non-English speaking child:) that's a big result for us in 3 weeks :) Miss Emma and mister Terence are very competitive and nice people, open to help and love children and their job! My Daughter attended CHP for almost 2.5 years before going to Kindergarten. We truly loved our experience there and recommend anyone who asks to take a tour and see why we loved it so much. The owners are so attentive and the staff is wonderful. They teach the children so much and they are beyond prepared for kinder and beyond. I highly recommend this school! The teachers are professional, caring, and honest. My daughter has been going to this school for 2 years now. She did not speak any English when she first started but she was able to fit in so well because the teachers and her friends helped her so much.  She recently had her kindergarten entrance test and the person who tested her was very impressed with her performance and said "Are you going to preschool? I can't say enough good things about CHP. My daughter just left after 3 years for Kindergarten and is beyond ready for her school career. The academic aspect of the school is amazing and so many friends and family are always so impressed with what our kids have learned. It's run by a couple and they know what they are doing. The rooms are engaging and clean, the teachers are warm and friendly. Our daughter was in the 2's room and I loved hearing all the activities they did and seeing the art they were working on. Another perk, the provide all the meals.
