Arcadia Montessori's 52nd Street campus is amazing! The teachers and staff are incredibly caring and truly see each child as an individual. My child has thrived here; growing confidently, supported, and encouraged every day. I absolutely love this school and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, thoughtful community. read more

My son has been at Arcadia Montessori for almost 2 years. He started in the toddler classroom and just moved up to the primary classroom. I can't say enough good things about this school - I was nervous having someone new take care of my child, but at Arcadia Montessori, he has thrived! We were so lucky to have Ms. Chelsea as his toddler teacher. She is such a kind person who shows she truly cares about every single kid in her class. My son has learned so many life skills and has been so genuinely cared for here! read more

My son went here for preschool for 2 years. It is a super cute school with a nice community vibe. He learned a lot this past year with his teacher, Miss Olivia. He has been writing up a storm and has started to read as well. read more

Arcadia Montessori - They have occasional spirit weeks for the kids. - Preschools Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

DO NOT put your children at this preschool unless they're able to sit silent and still for 8 hours. They're not looking to guide your children and help them grow. It was clear they only wanted robots. The staff is beyond disrespectful and condescending. BEST thing that happened to us was moving to a different preschool. If I could give 0 stars for this "preschool" I would. read more

Arcadia Montessori has been wonderful! Our son started in the Infant Room at 4 months old and recently moved into the Transition Room, and we have been blown away by the level of care he receives. Why we love Arcadia Montessori: Outstanding Staff: All of his teachers and the front office staff go above and beyond to make our son feel deeply loved and welcomed. Fun & Engaging Curriculum: They keep the kids active and learning with plenty of outdoor play, painting/art projects, animal visits, water days, etc. Total Peace of Mind: I love the Montessori method and its focus on independence and real-world skills. It's nice knowing he is in a developmentally rich environment with experienced staff. He also loves it there so much that some days he doesn't even want to leave at pickup. Highly recommend! read more

So grateful to have found this montessori while looking for an infant daycare. We are fortunate to have our little one here and thankful for the family we have formed here I wouldn't change anything and would definitely do it all over again! read more

Great school that I would highly recommend. Nice campus and staff is easy to work with.

We have attended Arcadia Montessori for almost 2 years and have loved our experience! My girls have gone through the infant, transition, both toddler, and now one of the primary classes and all of the teachers are amazing! It is wonderful to know the girls are actually learning each day and the "playing" is all intentional. We highly recommend Arcadia Montessori whether you have a tiny little or a bigger kiddo! read more

Both of our kids attended Arcadia Montessori starting at 18 months old and we were so grateful for the development and care they received. We opted to keep our son there for kindergarten and watched him flourish! He finished his time at AMS being able to read, write, and do most tasks independently. AMS has helped to give my kids confidence, social skills, and a safe place to learn and play. Highly recommend AMS for any families considering sending your kids here! read more

This is the most amazing school! Both of my sons have attended Arcadia Montessori for the past few years and absolutely LOVE it. We love this campus and the staff here. Albeit it is out the way from both work and home, it is still very worth it as we watch our little girl develop under the nurturing guidance of the teachers at Arcadia. The campus ground is beautiful and serene even in the crazy heat of Arizona. We've looked at a few places and are very thankful that we ended up here. Would highly recommend. read more

Arcadia Montessori is an excellent school. My daughter has been thriving at this school. The grounds are like a dream and the personnel are so amazing. I have no complaints to communicate and I feel they are a fantastic team of teachers and caregivers. I'm sure you'd feel the same if you had your child at the school. read more

Our son has been at Arcadia Montessori in Ms. Ayla's toddler class for over a year now and we couldn't be happier with his development. From his vocabulary to independence to leadership, he has truly grown by leaps and bounds. School has worked hard to empower him to feel capable of many tasks and has challenged us to give him more independence at home as well. He enjoys taking skills he's learned at school to help with tasks around the house. All of this has helped give him a strong sense of self that we know will serve him for the rest of his life. He has created many meaningful relationships with both classmates and his teachers and is excited to go to school and see them. At home he loves talking about school and all the things he gets to do, the people he gets to see, and the songs he gets to sing. We are very excited for the next chapter as he gets ready to move to the primary class. read more

Our son is 3 and has been enrolled at AMS since October 2021. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have found this school and it has done wonders for our child's confidence and development. He has learned how to socialize with other children but has also become independent. He enjoys his time in the gardens as much as the playground. He loves his time at school and the relationships he has cultivated. And we are fortunate to have found the community of parents we have met during our time at AMS. Special thanks to the Director, Mrs. Raena, who has gone over and beyond to ensure that the children are valued and cared for on this campus. And thank you to all his teachers - Ms. Ayla, Ms. Yvette, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Karina, Ms. July, Ms. Katie... and all others. We are eternally grateful for everything you do. read more

Our son has attended Arcadia Montessori since the fall of 2021 and it's been an overwhelmingly positive experience! Enrolling him in the midst of a global pandemic, while also being first-time parents, was a stressful time, to say the least. However, the staff could not have been more kind, supportive, communicative, and patient. Raena, who now serves as the school's Director, was our son's first lead teacher. She and her incredible staff became an extension of our family. Not only have they been instrumental in his social and academic development, they have also made us better parents by educating and supporting us through the many milestones and regressions of toddlerhood. We were very fond of the former Director, Teresa, but after learning of Raena's promotion, were overjoyed! Not only does she have a deep understanding of child development, but she is adored by children and parents, alike. Any concern we have ever raised has always been met with compassion and validation, as well as proposed solutions and expert insight. She always does what is in the best interest of the students, and cares deeply for the families she serves. Additionally, we have found such a great community with the families who attend AMS. It's been so beautiful watching our son create bonds with his classmates, and we are lucky to have developed friendships with the parents and caretakers, as a result. We also love the diversity, not only in the educators who care for the students, but also within the families themselves. We are so grateful to be part of the AMS community! read more

After three kids, I know a good school when I see one. I had a different Montessori school in the area in mind, but after visiting arcadia montessori I quickly changed my mind. This school is a haven for parents looking for a Montessori education with a strong community. The head of the school says hello every morning, remembering every kids name and even the siblings. we are continually impressed with the support and guidance our littlest has-seeing huge growth in his milestones even after 1month. Thank goodness we found this place. read more

We love this sweet school so much! We toured Arcadia Montessori after looking at a few others and we immediately felt at home and we've felt that same way now five years later. The campus is beautiful, the playgrounds are covered by big shade trees, the classrooms are gorgeous. We love the teachers the most and how they care for our girls. Our two girls have both thrived at Arcadia Montessori. You will find more personal care here, I love that I can immediately be on the phone with school administrators, and chat with my child's teacher regularly. We really love this school. read more

We've been a part of the AMS community for 2 years, and cannot say enough wonderful things about the school. The campus is beautiful and safe, and the teachers are approachable and always available for a quick check-in about the day. Our oldest started in the toddler program in the fall of 2021 with Ms. Raena, now the Director of AMS, and our youngest is in the same classroom with her former assistants who are now co-leads together. We feel confident that Ms. Ayla & Ms. Yvette, along with their incredible teaching staff, are providing our youngest daughter with the foundation to succeed independently in the world, as they did for our first. It has been truly incredible to watch our daughters' growth from the toddler program to oldest to primary at Arcadia Montessori. We are truly grateful to have found AMS, and look forward to being there for the next few years! read more

My son has been at Arcadia Montessori 52nd St since the school opened in Sept 2022. Since then, we have built an amazing relationship with teachers and administrative staff. The school has a warm welcoming environment. My son looks forward to going to school, having fun, and learning at the same time. My son started school not speaking English, now he is fluent in both English and Spanish. We have seen so much improvement in his education. Montessori offers piano, yoga, P.E, and Spanish. The school also offers parent education classes, and so much more! If you're looking for quality education, then Arcadia Montessori is perfect for your child(ren)! read more

We love Arcadia Montessori 52nd Street Campus! We've had our son enrolled for just about a year and could not say enough great things, especially with his toddler class. The campus is clean, the teachers and the administrative staff are so warm and welcoming and we get the feeling that they truly care about our child! I love that they greet the children every morning with a smile as that goes such a long way for being great role models and a great way to start each day! If an incident occurs regarding a bump or fall, we are notified immediately via the app and a photo is usually attached. The app also allows us to stay in communication with his teacher as we can send messages in realtime to her and vice versa. We also get pictures of our child throughout the week. They also offer toddler parent classes such as potty training and helping your child succeed at home. The staff truly care and help us parents be successful in supporting our child at home. We could not be happier at Arcadia Montessori 52nd Street Campus!! read more

Arcadia Montessori is the gold standard for early childhood learning. Our son attended the toddler through Kindergarten program. We were so pleased and amazed to see how the school fosters independent thinking, personal growth, and an inquisitive and curious mind. We were so impressed with the team at Arcadia Montessori, we recently enrolled our daughter in the infant program. As our son did with the toddler and preschool program, our daughter is thriving. Our highest recommendation for this amazing school! read more

We have absolutely loved our time at Arcadia Montessori. It has been wonderful to see our son flourish socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The staff (shout out to Ms Raenas team) is always there to offer us support through whatever challenge we are experiencing at home. Eli truly loves his time spent at school (which is quite a lot considering we both have full time jobs). We as parents have also found a nice community amongst the parents and I especially appreciate the diversity amongst families across every sector (number of children, race, careers, the list goes on and on). I love that AMS doesn't have a "type" of family. I will treasure these relationships even once our son has long since graduated. I also would be remiss to not mention the incredible support of the director group (especially Teresa). She brings so much passion and experience to the magical property/curriculum that is AMS. Her empathy for parents and children never goes unnoticed while also running an organization that seems to also focus on developing the staff and teacher (we've experienced almost zero turnover in the 2 years we've been there). We are so grateful for AMS! read more

My daughter attended this school for three years and I couldn't have wished for a better school. When she first started she was 3 and she was super shy. Within a month she started opening up and playing with the other kids and by the time she left the school everyone knew her name! Ms. Amelia is a saint and I will always be grateful to her for teaching and guiding my daughter in such a way that made me so proud! The staff and the owner Judy are all so sweet, caring and helpful. Could not recommend this school enough! read more

Words honestly can't describe the love our family has for AMS. We have been with the school for 6 years now, with 1.5 years left for my daughter. I tear up just thinking about this journey ending. All of the teachers have been wonderful, from Ms. Lauryn to Ms. Kristen to Ms. Amelia, where our daughter is currently. Amelia has been teaching at the school for 42 years. She claims her super power is teaching, which I would wholeheartedly agree. The passion the staff puts into the students is unremarkable. They are strict, which is great for toddlers and primary, and encourage independence in all aspects of their day. Ms. Teresa, the director of the school, has great control and influence on keeping the school running smoothly. She has guided us through some tough parenting topics and always offers sound advice. Our son, who graduated from AMS, is now in 1st grade, in public school, and has been flourishing. I accredit the foundation that was built for our son at AMS to his success! Forever grateful for this school! read more

We enrolled our daughter at Arcadia Montessori almost 2 years ago. During her tenure at AMS our she grew in so many ways. First and foremost, her social skills were noticeably better. She treats other kids more respectfully and has also became more independent. Further, I LOVE how they teach life skills. My daughter knows more about gardening and growing vegetables than I do! Another thing that made it very easy on us as parents was the responsiveness of the administrative staff. Every email I sent during the application process and any questions I had while my daughter was enrolled was responded to promptly and professionally. We did not continue with enrollment for our daughter because we have two other children at a different school and she is finally at the age where she can attend the same school as them. If it weren't for this I would have kept her there until she "graduated." Will truly miss our AMS family! Thank you so much for providing a positive environment that has shaped our daughter. read more

We LOVE 52nd ST Arcadia Montessori! My daughter enjoys going to learn and play with her friends everyday. She looks forward to what the day will bring and seeing the staff here (not just her main teacher). The staff as a whole is a great group they are very welcoming and kind. They do a great job getting to know each kid and their needs! We love Ms. Adrianna & my child really enjoys being apart of her class. She does an amazing job knowing just what my daughter needs to make it to the next level of learning about how to get her there. We are most grateful for this school and the friendship gained here. read more

We have felt the love and care that Arcadia Montessori provides from the moment we stepped onto campus! You can tell that the teachers and administrators truly care about each child. Not only do they care for their well being but also their education and their independence. We have truly seen such a positive shift in our child since we became part of this community. There is not a day that goes by that we do not feel lucky to be enrolled here. I highly recommend this school to everyone that I come in contact with and I promise, it is worth the wait! read more

With my husband and I both working full time jobs, we originally had a nanny come to our house to watch my first born little one. We did that for a year, and it was nice, but really expensive and we felt our daughter wanted and needed more interaction with other kids. Because she wasn't 18 mo old yet, we put her in a standard, run of the mill day care associated with a nearby church. It was nice, much cheaper than the in-house nanny, but there were definitely opportunities. It had much more the feel of "we'll keep your child alive and fed, but overall really young people are going to play on their phones while "watching" your children. Fast forward to 2016 when my daughter was old enough to be in AMS. We joined AMS and instantly saw her language, potty training, and overall emotional intelligence improve. We're now in 2020, and my daughter is still at AMS for kindergarten, and both of my sons are there too. Every teacher we've had along the way, along with the school's administration, have been kind, compassionate, and quickly became someone our children befriend . When you consider the hours needed for child care in a household with two working parents and the price per hour, the price for AMS's level of care, compassion and education is really not much more than the price of the "just keep your kid alive" day cares, and it is without a doubt worth it in every way. read more

Could not be prouder to be apart of the Arcadia Montessori family. My son attended their Virginia Avenue location for three years beginning with Ms. Lauryn in the toddler room then moved up to Ms. Kristen's classroom - both of which are still dedicated teachers now at the 52nd street campus. My son is now in the first grade and flourishing! He's doing second grade math and I am confident he's doing such a great job because of the foundation created at AMS, they are so wonderful and really do a great job at fostering a positive safe environment with a deep love of learning. My family and I were overjoyed to learn of an opening in the infant classroom for our daughter, and even happier still to learn Ms. Lauryn would be her teacher. All the teachers in her class are so patient and loving. They provide lots of updates via the app - number of diapers, time and duration of naps, when, what and how much she ate and most importantly pictures of her day, playing and engaging in a wide variety of various works. My daughter was previously at Bright Horizons and let me tell you it is night and day between the two! With Arcadia Montessori being exponentially better. As you walk in the classroom it is so quiet and serene, such a great calming positive environment. I drop my daughter off every day with confidence that she's in good hands with providers who genuinely care for her. At drop offs, all the teachers and staff say hello to my daughter by name. It really is a wonderful community. Very engaged with activities and events throughout the year. Very thorough parent teacher conferences, even in the infant class - they understand the importance and how critical the first years are and are so eager to share the progress of my child with clear paths towards future learning. We're so thankful for a flexible schedule too as we drop off as early at 7:30am and then pickup at 5:30pm year-round! No worrying about finding summer programs. Could not be happier with Arcadia Montessori 52 Street Campus. I absolutely recommend this school to all. My son now years later is still best friends with a buddy met in the toddler class even though they both go to different schools. It really is a close knit community, one we're so grateful to be apart of. read more

Our family absolutely loves Arcadia Montessori!!! I cannot say enough good things about the school and the program, but I'll try and cover a few. The Director Ms. Raena is absolutely fabulous. She takes the time to get to know every single family and every single child. Every morning when I see Ms. Raena, I can ask her anything about either of my kids, and she knows exactly what is going on. It's incredible! Ms. Ayla and Ms. Yvette's entire team in the toddler class is outstanding. They create such a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for young toddlers to discover themselves and their independence. And Ms. Jessica's primary team has done such a wonderful job creating a challenging and enriching environment for the big kids to learn, grow, and get ready for Elementary School. Our kids have been enrolled at the school for over 3 years now, and cannot highly recommend it enough!!! read more

Arcadia Montessori is nothing but a gem! This school has been around for quite a while, & with good reason! My daughter was a 2nd generation student and absolutely LOVED it there. The yoga, & Zumba was one of her favs. She met so many other wonderful children that she called her friends. We relocated to CA recently, & if it wasn't for that she would definitely still be attending. Must see school. The campus is beautiful as well, as it was originally Judy (the owners) home. read more

Our son has been attending AMS for a little under a year now in the toddler program. We have been so happy with the school, the teachers and the community. They really do a great job connecting with the kids and creating a positive and fun learning environment. Our guy had a hard time adjusting to a new school at first (he had been at home up until then) but the teachers were so kind, conscientious, and thoughtful with him. They helped him through the transition period and I was so grateful for their positivity and patience. He loves going every day and really likes his teachers. They've got fun activities for the kiddos - yoga, music, splash pad, PE... Lots to keep them busy and active. The campus is really beautiful too - I love all the gardens they have the kids working in and I am so grateful they have wood chips on the playground! Sand and toddlers is the worst! read more
