Omg omg OMG ! If you don't eat here you are missing out on what's probably the best experience of your life as far as flavour and presentation. I truly wish I could give them 100 stars . I am not a fan of the hours but I work around them because they are worth working around . Just eat here. Come back and post a review. This place I can guarantee will only have lovers not haters !! YUM!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Hubby and I are looking for a fun place to play Bingo. Do they have?

Hello Julie, we do not offer Bingo at The Skagit; however, we have a wide range of slot machines and promotions. Visit www.theskagit.com for more details.

Do they still offer crab night? If so when and how much? Their website is pathetic.

We couldn't find lodging closer to the North Cascades NP entrance and were pretty bummed we'd be driving an hour each day to get there for hikes that already required us to be up at like 6am... but I'm telling you... it's worth it. This hotel was so clean and comfortable. I felt like we should've been paying more for how big the room was, how well-equipped (full size fridge, awesome when you are roadtripping with a cooler filled with food), a kitchenette, laundry facilities on-site, comfy beds, awesome continental breakfast in the morning, and honestly, just intentional thoughtful touches all around the whole hotel that kept making me comment to my husband, "this is SO nice." I should mention, we didn't interact with staff much because we were at the park all day... but staff who are in charge of getting breakfast out in the morning are hustling! We really appreciated that they had everything out at 7am sharp since there were a few times we were able to grab food before leaving for the NP. Thank you! We hiked 14 miles yesterday and would've been eating granola at the trailhead but got a hot delicious breakfast thanks to you!

Room/Hotel & Staff: 4 out of 5 Stars. PROS - Literally every single person I came across was so genuinely nice and helpful. The hotel itself is way nicer in person than online. They need to take new pictures maybe. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. Loved that there was SO many towels and a nice little coffee machine. Overall very nice and cozy. CONS: We did love the big tub right in the room but was a little sad there's no actual jets in the tub. They call it a jacuzzi on their description so with that I assumed jets in the tub. The bed wasn't great, I didn't sleep very well and felt my hips hurt a little in the morning. Blankets felt very thin and cheap as well, I think I'd just bring my own blanket next time. No biggie. Casino: 4.0 out of 5 Stars. PROS: lots of great slot options, all the machines seemed very clean and maintained. If we ever had a slot that wasn't working properly it wouldn't take an attendant long at all to come right over and fix it very quickly. All casino staff seemed to be SO friendly and helpful. The Taco/Mexican restaurant is AMAZING. THE BEST carne asada over ever experienced in my life hands down. Also amazing frozen margaritas. I would go back just for this food. We ordered a lot from the express eats as well and everything there was great too. CONS: No table games at all was the biggest downside to the whole casino. And I think the only downside as well.

We enjoyed the proximity to the town and the amazing view of the water from the rooftop deck. The kids enjoyed the freedom to wander around town and look in the shops, and enjoyed the game store. We watched the parade that must have had everyone in town participating! We are not from a small town. This was fun for us. The king-sized bed was comfortable, and we had a room with a soaking tub and a giant shower. The pull-out couch was "ok" according to my son. One thing I will say that was missing was a common area indoors for people to meet up and socialize outside of the restaurant. We have traveled often with these families, and we like to find areas to play cards and spend time together. The food at the restaurant was good. We had a poor experience with one of the rooftop bartenders. He looked like he had been there a long time and really had no interest in answering questions or engaging with the town. His younger companion bartender was friendly and welcoming. Advice: In the evening, it cools down tremendously on the rooftop, so you will need blankets even though there are a couple of fireplaces for ambiance.

Check-in was easy they simply asked for a voucher and then gave us the keys. The rooms were clean and surprisingly homy. The beds were also comfortable. A few questionable things like dark sheets and towels but who needs all white toiletries anyways? If you are not careful you could fall off the toilet. There wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom dispenser, glad I brought my own. The man at the front desk "checked out" the room before he gave us the key. Well, he missed a few things. The mini-fridge and microwave are positioned right under where you would hang your clothes. So that makes it impossible to hang anything more than a jacket or two. Also, the TV remote didn't seem to work either. The man at the front desk did tell us to let him know if we needed anything, but when you are undressed and getting ready for bed you don't want someone coming in the room to fix the door or toilet. Not big on maintenance.

I write this review only because my kids LOVED this campground. They were able to catch crayfish in…read morethe creek, build a fort, meet other kids, swim & play basketball. They had so much fun, they asked if we could go back to this location. It's extremely RARE they would ask to return to a campground. At first, my husband and I were sceptical. We had a few issues right from the start: the manager came over and yelled at us for going over 5 miles per hour, even though we purposely DIDNT go over 5 mph. He said if it's faster than he can WALK, then it's too fast. Oh boy! Then, although we had water and electric, we found they do NOT come with sewer. There are no full hookups at this campground nor is there a dump!. Also, TT sent us a map showing us the address of this campground. However, when we got there, we were told we were at the wrong place and needed to proceed further down the road towards hwy 99, take a left and then another left onto Friday Creek Road. This is a first come, first serve campground. The spots are tight and if you have a large 40' trailer like ours, your space is limited. Try to arrive during the day so you can back in the spots available (if any). Our spot put us less than an arm's length from the next rig over...we noticed they promptly left the very next morning.... This was our first time using a TT campground. I do notice they are more archaic than we are used to, there is no wifi and you will not be able to grab a tv signal (which is fine for us....our kids didn't need it). Not having hookups, pretty much limits your cooking/dishwashing and running to the public restroom more often than normal. The bathrooms are clean though! There were both a mop and a bucket in the bathroom. You are told to "clean up your own mess" when you use the bathroom including cleaning the floors after your shower. Other than the little "quirks" and a little ego tripping from the manager, the place is an alright stopover for a few days but no longer due to dumping issues. If that 's something you don't mind, or you are in a tent, I would highly recommend this spot! It's close to the Skagit Speedway and feels like it's outback! We will be back again!
