I worked in a casino for over a decade and have never been kicked out of ANY casino EVER. You have NO TABLE GAMES so you need a person in every seat. I requested the NBA Finals to be put on a TV and was denied because the Mariners were playing a regular season game. Use logic and communication before refusing service to people. I understand in many instances you maybe correct but in this instance you were 100% wrong. You talked to us about parking our Mercedes Benz over night we respected your wishes and the law and never did again. We visited roughly 6 more times and sold the car before you approached us and told us we can't come to your casino anymore. I tip your staff far to well...I recommend you get someone new to head up your security and surveillance department because they are going to put you out of business. Let's not forget my very first visit I used your atm to withdraw $400.00. The transaction failed, no money was given and my $400 has been taken from my account. Lucky I caught it right away or I would have never got my money back. Anyone with a failed arm transaction should immediately check their accounts. In the next few visits I ordered 2 orders of chicken strips with extra ranch and was charged $8.00 for the ranch. I forwarded the receipt to the cage so they could handle it because it's ridiculous. I asked for the extra ranch because the time before I got none with my meal despite requesting it and then tipping $14.00. I am changing review to 5 stars so it can be seen and a warning to all. I would give 0 stars. What I suspect is happening is without blackjack and other table games your surveillance has no games to watch, no more fills to verify etc etc and I instead are watching the only thing left to watch...the parking lot. Tell surveillance to Hitler Rvs and Motorhomes...not paying customers and their Mercedes. Read a book, do a crossword, do something besides hard time people. I want to make it clear that your parking lot attendant just 86'd customers that tipped $250 on a $2400 jackpot which was far more than the $6 I seen someone else give. Pick your battles. I urge you to verify that. read more

Clean and over all a pleasant experience. A casino is a casino. They exist to make money. If you're lucky to win. Great. Casino had a nice mix of newer and older VLT however many are in need of being replaced. Not the games but the physical machines. Many have reached their end of life cycle. Buttons stick or do not work do not light up. Just old and tired. Over all this is a non smoking establishment. They do have smoking rooms with VLTs. Dining is only two options. One a Mexican bar and fastish food. Order at the cashier and find a seat. Non alcoholic beverage are complimentary. I ordered the cheeseburger. Cutbacks are obvious no more table games. Taco thing is slow and some of the clerks are rude and condescending asked for two tacos as I did not want to eat four. No way she said you have to buy four. Another time I ordered a beer and the four tacos was the only one in the area. Drank the beer and was waiting for the tacos. Well the beer was gone. So I went up to check on my tacos Well we're getting them in a few minutes I had been there for 30 minutes waiting and had to leave well I left with out my order after paying. We were visiting our son and his family and this was the easiest and closest to where they were. Not sure when it was built but seems relatively new. Very clean but it reminds me of a Motel 6. The rooms are clean, everything was in working order but the shower absolutely didn't work for mg husband. It was a tub with a shower and he is unable to use that. Most newer hotels have just a shower which makes this one show it's age. The attached casino had a wide variety of slot machines but if there are table games they must have been some place else since we didn't see any. Limited restaurants, Encore, Buffet and a fast food deli. Not the same caliber as the neighboring Tulalip casino which is 20 minutes down the road. If we stayed in that area again, we'd opt for that. read more

Event Review: 5 Stars across the board I'm not a huge reviewer- but knew before I left today that the coordinator, staff and whomever else worked on our event deserved words of praise right away. Our "event" was actually a memorial service for my brother-in-law who was a dedicated and beloved member of our Skagit County community. He was loved by so many people and we didn't really know what to expect the day of- assumed over 100 guests but could be 200+. Hannah: you took everything in stride, allowed us to make changes if needed and responded so quickly to emails. This is gold to me and I will recommend you every chance I get. Sincerest thank you and I hope I get to work with you again under different circumstances. Kevin, Brian, and Corey: every time we needed something, I knew you'd be nearby soon so I didn't need to go "find" you. This probably isn't really a fair review since I didn't really experience the casino or hotel the way it was meant to be experienced. I was here for a AAA Cruise show so I really only used the ballrooms and the hotel lobby. However, I was annoyed that almost every door was locked and it was very difficult to figure out which door to use. It might be better to blame this on AAA, because it would have been nice to have a sign by the door we were supposed to use (which turned out to be the hotel main door), but it was really confusing and a long walk back and forth to figure out where I was going. The hotel is nice, though and next time I come I'm going to do more exploring. I did like that the parking was easily accessible. read more

Awful communication and customer service. We reserved a room 8 months in advyto be emailed 3 times postponing our reservation because of renovations. Then they called and wanted to know why I didn't check yet on a date they already cancelled. No more hot tub rooms in the new renovation either. Only reason we went there. Very sad. read more

A group of us met here for a friends birthday party for a night of gambling. I am not a gambler; however, my wife enjoys to gamble. We reserved a suite for our stay for $164.65 ($149 rate, $12.67 tax + $2.98 room tax). The suite consisted of a two-way fireplace viewed from the living room and bedroom, an over-sized jetted spa, two flat screen TV's, a two-line speaker phone, queen-size bed, microwave oven, mini refrigerator, dining/work space, two closets and in-room safe. The room was quite nice for the price. There was a 2 cup coffee pot in the room with the option of tea, decaf or regular coffee. Half and half cream was also provided (the little mini ones). As for the casino itself, I thought it was dreadfully smoky and extremely hot. Perhaps the ventilation system wasn't working correctly. I was surprised to see the amount of people here considering how far away/remote this casino is. Casino Hours: Sunday - Thursday 9am - 3am Friday & Saturday 9am - 5am The beers and wine were running at about $4.50 a glass/pint. There were a few micro brews available such as Mac & Jack and Manny's. Mini waters are free upon request. There are three restaurants in this casino, one of which is the Market Buffet which offers all-you-can eat steak, prime rib and crab dinner on Saturday nights for $24.95 + tax per person. Several people from our group took advantage of the buffet. Since I do not care for buffet style dining, I chose room service. I ordered a chicken quesadilla for $11.99 + $2 delivery charge + $1.92 (16% gratuity charge automatically added). The grand total for my dis-appointing quesadilla was $17.10. Thank you Skagit for making the birthday boy happy on his special night. That's what this night was all about whether I like casinos or not. read more

This is for the Market Buffet. Went back again, since we are so close right now, it's hard to pass up the affordable buffet deals here. Again, food was fair. This time Italian night, a bit more of a limited selection. Meatloaf, pizza, spaghetti, salmon, etc. They have a great idea of doing the stir fry station, but it definitely needs more than one person manning the station. (Considering the same person seems to also be the one to replace low food items, slice the beef, etc). Felt bad for the guy. But he makes a mean stir fry. So our suggestion is, if you want stir fry, go get it ready and in line to be cooked, while you enjoy yourself with your first plate of other items. Went back again, two weeks later. They now seem to have more help in the stir fry section. It does not take very long at all to get your personalized stir fry. read more

We stayed at the Skagit last night. We were unable to check in on Yelp due to horrible cell service. We had the Seafood buffet, and I have to say, the food and options available were amazing. We also attended the Loverboy concert. What an amazing show. The acoustics in the room were very good. We decided to do a little gambling, and didn't lose alot of . Good options for available updated games. My only reason giving 4 stars, is the smoke in the casino. Seems like the filtration system could be updated. The room was clean and the beds were not bad at all. We are looking forward to hitting up the Skagit in the near future. read more

Ah, yeah. I should have vetted them first. I assumed all casinos had at least one area for non smokers by now. Not this one. Smoking still allowed in restaurants too. If they changed it to vaping, probably wouldn't be as bad. Really toxic environment. And beware of the odor machine near the door by the Shark machines! It puffs out huge amounts of old lady perfume to try desperately to cover up the smell of tar and carcinogens in the air! I don't know which was worse, the machine or ciggy smoke! Oh, and we didn't win anything. Not a dime. We also stayed overnight, and I would not recommend the resort. The beds are made out of rocks and there are no fans in the bathroom. The most important thing to know about the Skagit Casino is that they have absolutely no regard for customer service. As it is a few miles from my home, it is the most convenient casino for me to visit, however, if that were not the case, I would never go there. I have been gambling here for 18 years and spent thousands, in fact, I even won a a car here, but when asking if they could honor a ticket for less than five dollars which had missed the 30 day deadline by three days that would have gone immediately back into a slot machin, they chose not to do so. This is just one of the examples of how the Skagit really doesn't care about the individual customer. From removing lids and straws from their complementary beverage cart to save money, to the way they treat diners in their very meager and basic restaurants. They have no table games, but do have a fairly good selection of slots, so if you are close and don't really care about loyalty from a company, then by all means, enjoy the convenience, that's the best quality they have to offer. read more

I went to Skagit Casino quite a few months back and forgot to take my slot money winnings printed out for $49 to the machine and get the monies. We live 2 hours away so when we got home, I thought I will save it for the next time we go. Well, that didn't work. I tried to go to cashier and was told to talk to floor manager, who then told me to talk to manager. Skagit wouldn't give me my monies - over 30 days had passed. This was in small print on the ticket. Very disappointing. We won't be going back. They could have offered a credit for meals or even slot play. My wife had a night out and decided to travel north from Marysville to do something different. Upon arrival, it was beautiful how the had lite up the facility because of the holidays. We actually went up to Skagit for the band being hosted. Live music, couple rips off the weed pen, and a little gambling. That's a decent night out. So, we did have some fun but left early because of how Smokey the place is, I mean oh my gosh the smoke was effecting our entertainment. Because of the environment, we will not return. Had a lot of fun......for a while! Too bad. Need to update the clean air system. Vent blowing up on the floor keeping the smoke above us. But if you're into action on the Pai Gow poker table, there's not much going on...in fact, it's a less busier naturally, with people at work haha.
