I wanted to thank Jen so much for all of her help. The bathroom remodeling process was a bit stressful and you made everything seamless. My daughter and I visited the showroom and Jen helped us to find the hardware for the door that I had previously discussed with her on the phone. She and her coworker were so welcoming and sweet to my 2 year old. My daughter had a great time there. Jen has answered my millions of questions and really helped guide me with my low iron shower door. The measurement and installation crew were great. Since my door was custom, I was able to choose the height as well as the bypass doors. I also chose low iron glass since my daighter's bathroom has white tiles. Will be using them again for sure on our next bathroom. A bit pricey because of the low iron, but worth every penny (competitively priced). I visited the Mineola Shower Door in February. The showroom is BEAUTUFUL! Mena was extremely helpful in selecting a replacement for our existing shower door which has been in for over 25 years. I called Mena and asked her if she knew of a regrouting person. She recommended John the ceramic man. John regrouted both of my stall showers. They look like new! John & George installed the door today. Extremely polite, extremely neat and professional young men. They covered the entire bathroom floor, and stairs leading to the bathroom with drop cloths. They carted the old door to the garage. My bathroom looks like NEW! It's over 25 years old! My husband is thrilled with it and he is very hard to please! We had a glass shower enclosure installed in April 2021, an elected to lengthen the height of the glass 3". The store neglected to tell us that that the vinyls cannot be ordered to accommodate the increased height. If I had known that I would not have paid the $300 extra for the taller glass. It looks unfinished, and this is an expensive "luxury" item. Not knowing this fact, I called the store and asked to have longer vinyls sent to me. They told me to contact "Joe", the sales rep. After four months of chasing "Joe" down to get the vinyls sent to me, I finally get them last week (now September) and THE VINYKS ARE THE SAME LENGTH AS THE ONES CURRENTLY INSTALLED. I needed a few things from this establishment. When I arrived, there was a very misleading and derogatory sign in the window. The sign states and I quote, "Anyone can beat a price. BUT! When you need service will their phone be in service". The sign had no correct punctuation and left me feeling very confused and unwell. When I entered the establishment, right off the bat, a young child who was wearing nothing but a paw patrol diaper and an oversized shirt that he stated was a "Moo Moo" started screeching at me in a foreign language. I completely blew off this encounter and continued searching for what I needed as well as a representative. The lady who helped me was so out of pocket for no reason. As I stormed out of the store without what I needed, I sat in my car, pondering. I looked out my window and there it was again. The sign. I sat there for over 10 minutes trying to decipher what it meant. To this day I still do not know, but what I do know is that they should be selling those signs instead of their crusty shower doors. In conclusion, I felt attacked and uncomfortable in that environment and will not be returning until they give me a formal apology and begin to explain what their sign means. Four years ago I had a custom glass shower enclosure installed in my master. Suddenly the door is rubbing in one corner. It happened once before. The hinge needed adjustment. Unfortunately the company that installed it is no longer in business. I called The Shower Door for a repair. They told me they would only come out IF I purchased a $500 one year warranty to "get into their system". That entitles you to 4 visits in a year! Seriously? If I need four visits in a years you have incompetent technicians! Unfortunately for them I also need two other shower enclosures and a custom mirror. I don't do business with companies who make up fees. I am sure there are other companies who have a more reasonable policy who are interested in increasing their business. read more

Went to The Shower Door in Mineola for replacement doors for our master bathroom. Mena helped us in the showroom and she was extremely helpful, polite and professional. The delivery was scheduled and we were told to call the night before for a 2 hour window of delivery. When I called, I spoke to a woman who was pleasant and told me the men were scheduled to arrive between 3-5pm. The showed up at 2:50pm. Both George and John were very nice. They covered all my carpets and staircase with tarps and were very neat throughout the installation. The shower doors were exactly as ordered and look beautiful. They installed the shower door in a small bathroom. Guys arrived right on time and it took them less than two hours to complete the job. Unfortunately, our bathroom contractor left walls and floors completely uneven (a horror story), but his did not seem to be a problem. They did not seem to be bothered by this. They quickly installed the thick glass door that fit perfectly and did not experienced any issues along the way. They promptly cleaned up after they finished and never asked for anything along the way. Their prices were much better than our other estimates. They charged $1300 for 3/8" thick glass when others estimated high 1000's, low 2000's for much thinner glass. Highly recommended.. read more

Worst company to deal with. Had a custom shower door installed and with in 2 weeks found water leaking. They charged me $100 to fix the problem within 2 weeks of faulty installation. The lady over the phone is nasty person. I will not recommend anyone to do business with them. read more

The woman who schedules the installation is unaccommodating and stiff. I called to pick the time but she already picked the window time frame for us. She will not budge not one bit. I understand that they pay somebody to install the shower doors, but at least ask the customer what time works for him/her. I am asking her to give me different time frame on the same day.
