I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.

Discovered Morningstar Doors and Windows on Yelp after being discouraged at a different store found…read morein a circular. Decided to check out Morningstar due to its fabulous reviews. Ended up walking in on a Saturday to a surprisingly decent sized showroom. We were greeted by Jim who educated us first-time buyers on different types of front door materials, accessories and options. This was the shopping experience I was looking for, especially for us first-time buyers. We had in mind what we were looking for and Jim was able to replicate exactly what we wanted and with guaranteed good quality. There were plenty of brochures to build what we wanted and Jim was able to build our front door on a computer program so we could visualize exactly what we wanted. Morningstar takes care of the purchasing and guarantees a lifetime warranty. You have to find your own contractor for the installing portion - they give you a list of recommended contractors or you can go your own way and find your own. Our custom blue door and screen door was delivered in exactly 2 weeks! We couldn't believe it. Especially because a competitor prior to this visit told us we would have to wait 8-9 weeks for a custom door almost doubled the price. We are highly pleased on our purchase and will certainly recommend Morningstar to all our friends and family!

He took a look at what needed to be done and gave us a free estimate. The price was not unreasonable. Making the appointment to get the work done was easy. The installation crew came on time, as promised, and were very professional and courteous. They did a great job and they were fun to talk to. run away! after they got our deposit, they were rude and argumentative. we thought it was one…read moreperson. but the installation proved this is a horrible company. at sale said it would be no problem to put extra pavers under. we paid three hundred dollars for 60 extra pavers and delivery . they refused at the time of installation to put them under the floor as promised. they just yes us to death and did what they wanted to do. we went out a few times because we didn't want to hover, asked them to please do the job as contracted. we were completely ignored. after they left there were large gaps in the floor and window that we had to caulk. the floor pops all the time. Obviously the shed is not squared correctly just thrown together. wanted the pavers to butt together so nothing could crawl under, they left gaps. when told they wouldn't be getting the planned generous tip, they began shoving the pavers under the installed shed, ramming them with a crowbar. the pavers are all broken, scratched and ugly. we never could of imagined the work could of be of such poor quality. its frustrating that we spent our money there, reached out several times. non one has called back, and they do not answer the phone for us. such a really simple was such a very poor job. you will get burned.
