I hired this company to do work at my house, and it turns out that they actually SUBCONTRACT the work to other companies and they DO NOT PAY subcontractors. Now the subcontractor has contacted me and told me that they will put a lien on my property if I do not pay them, but I already paid the Sewer Surgeon. This same company is associated with SWE and the name of the owner is Nick! He was very professional, he asked permission to get access to the water heater. He did some troubleshooting and was able to turn on the water heater. Nick was very communicative before our pipe re-lining service was performed, and he gave me a good price compared to other quotes. However, once the work was done he did not follow through with either a receipt for the work completed, nor the post pipe video inspection I was promised. On top of that, his team left piles of plastic debris and resin in our curbside garden which I thought was unprofessional. The new drain pipe seems to be working fine, but only time will tell if it clogs again...and it better not since we were promised a 25 year warranty. We spent a LARGE sum of money on this operation and it's pretty sad that once they were paid we were essentially ghosted. I'm a GC that hired them to reroute some sewer lines and to fix the overflow on the bathtub. All the hardware trims were gold, but what they installed was chrome. Spoke to John about this multiple times by text and by phone and he said they would order it and have it replaced. I called the office on 5.421 and 5.10.21. Each time they said they would call me back immediately to get it resolved. December of 2020 is how long this has been ongoing. Why they put chrome finish instead of gold is unknown to me. This is a small issue that has turned into a legal issue now. I'll be filing a complaint with the Contractors State License Board today for leaving the job incomplete. I have been more than patient waiting to have this resolved. I understand everyone is busy, but 5 + months is more than enough time to get this done. Very awful service. Johnathan came our Saturday to fix our tub plumbing. We were quoted 1800 for the job. When the job was half way finished we had to leave and we asked who we write the checked out to and Johnathan said his name which we thought was odd but did it anyways. He said he was going to return the next day to finish the job but never came back. Tuesday we reached out to the company to ask if someone was coming back to finish the job and the "manager" was extremely rude and said they would not honor any loss that I have because Johnathan had ripped them off as well. Now the "manager " is saying the plumber Johnathan has only been with the company for 30 days which turned out to be untrue because instagram shows him from 2021.. The guys on this team are professional, polite, and actually very helpful. They don't overcharge or even charge on service that they are not going to do, and they won't force you to do any service that you don't need to. They were actually called by my landlord for the townhome I am renting since they are my landlords regular plumbing service company for their multiple locations. I had a flood issue 2 weeks ago in my back-backyard patio area when the heavy raining just started. They told my landlord they will try to their best to get to our locations with an hour or two depending on the traffic, and they actually showed up early! They were able to identify the issue cause by the neighbor unit actually took out their storm drain, therefore the water will not going to the main storm drain as it should, but actually hitting a blockage. Normally the water exits fine in the backyard, but the heavy rain damaged a neighbor's roof gutter, so it was dumping all the collected water from the roof all into my backyard.
