Such a sweet hotel in Oceanside! We loved the decor, customer service, and the best part is that it is so close to the beach/pier and the Sunset Market! Made our staycation extra special!

View as soon as you come out of meeting room - cannot complain!

What a lovely hotel! My review is only for the conference I attended here and to be in such a beautiful hotel with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean, working this weekend felt like a breeze. Conference room was nice and all the AV worked well. Valet parking for $10 was provided for conference goers. I parked in the public lot right across the street for $5.50/day and its literally a stone's throw away. Lunch was Greek cuisine and all of it delicious. The snacks at break were OK too. Bathrooms are nice and just mesmerizing views of the ocean from many parts of the hotel. Id definitely come back again to hang out here another day when not working. Its very chill and classy too. Loved it!

My family stayed at Seabird Resort from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day. We are very happy we picked this hotel! When we arrived to check in, the staff was so nice. They gave us a free upgrade to an ocean view room on the 4th floor with a balcony. The view was great - we could see the pool and the ocean. Loved it!! The room was very clean. The whole hotel has a nice, relaxed beach house feeling. There is a cool library on the second floor - very cozy to sit and read. The gym is open 24 hours, which is perfect. The pool is heated, but it closes at 10 pm. All the staff were wonderful. They helped us fast whenever we needed something. The hotel is right next to the Oceanside Pier. It was easy to walk there. But it rained a lot, so we did not go many places. Parking is valet only, but the service was good. We loved it here and will come back again this year. I really recommend Seabird Resort! My Personal Rating : 4.8 Hotel 4.8/5 Staff 5/5 Price 4.5/5 Ambiance 4.8/5 Cleanliness 4.9/5

The Seabird exceeded expectations from start to finish. The grounds are beautiful and the vibe is relaxed yet polished--exactly the kind of place that makes you want to linger. The hosted work retreat had plenty of yummy food and snacks that were delicious across the board. Every detail was thoughtful, and the service was truly impeccable--from the valet team to the conference room staff. Everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I was so impressed that I've already booked a weekend stay with my husband. Can't wait to come back and enjoy The Seabird purely for fun this time!

Food - small plates like focaccia, edemame, fries, oysters gem wedge salad. Large plates like mussels, fish and chips, burger, tuna bowl, lobster roll. And sides. Had the seabird burger and it was delish! Service - twas good and friendly Ambiance - by the pier seaside. Bustling and good. Verdict - yes to chill and food ain't bad either.

Had an amazing stay at The Seabird! From Valet, to check-in, bartender, to onsite dining the entire team knew how to make people feel special and cared for. Alex check us in and he was awesome, got an upgrade, popped some bottle, and was quick with the process. We enjoyed breakfast at Piper which had a solid buffet but we didn't have the appetite and the Ala cart menu was amazing with great service. We spent time in the pool and also lounging at the beach front bar hangout, got some Caiprinhas and enjoyed the sunset. Overall the room was spacious, clean, and well kept, they offered slippers along with any amenities that were forgotten like tooth brushes or paste. I have already booked upcoming stays! This will be my new favorite local SoCal vacay spot!

We had a great stay here! You can tell it was recently built as everything feels really new, modern, and it has a nice aesthetic. There are not too many noticeable Hyatt references. All the great parts: - Even the basic room is spacious and a small price increase gets you a separate living room. - They have nespresso machines in each room and very nicely gave me a splash of oat milk at the restaurant so I could make my coffee each morning. - The bed was really comfy. - The lobby is nice and memorably comfortable. - The pool is open late until 10 PM. The gym is open 24/7. The pool overlooks the ocean and all the chairs are comfortable. - We didn't eat at the Piper restaurant but it is super Instagram aesthetic. - The resort really feels like a resort that you might find in FL...'resort-y' if that's a term. - There are plenty of small touches that level up the resort creating the high end feeling. Oceanside is super busy on a summer weekend but calms down significantly during the week. All the CA taxes and resort fees add something like $100 each night so this is one of the only negatives. Can't forget the fee, the fee fee, and the fee fee fee. I am also a big reviewer of gyms. This gym was good with about 8-10 strength training machines (i.e. leg press), dbs, kbs, wall balls, a cable machine, a few cardio machines and a Smith machine but the space is actually a bit smaller than I expected. Taking the Coaster here from Downtown SD is pretty easy. Overall, loved the hotel!

We recently stayed here for 3 nights the weekend before Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Staff were wonderful and we found the location great since we were down the street from the Pier and beach, and rates ended up being much less than the Mission Pacific for that weekend. Since we booked through the Amex FHR portal, we also received the $100/stay credit, which could be used at a few places in the Seabird or Mission pacific, and had the resort fees waived due to hotel status. Loved that the front desk had a cart full of toys that our little one could choose from upon check-in, and the rooms were clean and modern. The beds were comfortable, however did make quite a bit of noise (squeaky) when moving around on it, but luckily we had a white noise playing while our little one was asleep. Do note that not all rooms have bathtubs, but the shower stall itself is very spacious (enough for two people) with great water pressure. It's common for events (including weddings) to be held here, so upgrades are not common even with status. I do appreciate that the hotel is family friendly, there's blackout curtains, and all rooms have a balcony. The branded reusable water bottles are nice touch too, although they do dent easily. One thing I did wish was that the hallways connected all around, but luckily I didn't bring my elderly mother with me this time. If you're staying in the higher numbered rooms on a floor and happen to be less mobile or have an elder with you, you'll be walking quite a while to get to elevator. We didn't realize this until we got there, but it's something to keep in mind and you should put in a request for a room closer to the elevator if needed.

The Seabird Resort in Oceanside is simply incredible! From the second, I got to the property until the second I left I was made to feel welcome and appreciated. The staff is just awesome! There are plenty of restaurants and bars on site and lots of things within walking distance. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I had a great view. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

We found the hotel while searching for a quick weekend getaway. We chose Oceanside for its small beach city vibe and the hotel for its proximity to the town center and the pier. The hotel was built from the ground up 4 years ago and it looks sparkling new inside out. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly staff, from valet parking (no self-parking available) to the front desk. For our stay, we got a king bed corner room with ocean view. The room was well lit and impeccably clean. From neatly folded bed sheet to stain free bathroom floor and shower tiles. Besides relaxing on the balcony, watching the surfers weaving through the waves, there are other amenities such as pool, hot tub, and game room. You can also walk to the pier boardwalk or stroll through the strand (wish the hotel offered reduced rate bike rental). For dinning, besides the hotel restaurant, there are many options just a couple of hundreds of feet up on Main or Mission street. From casual taco place to fine sushi bar. Tons of choices. The room was well insulated and quiet, the night traffic outside on the weekend was slightly noisier, but it did die down after 11PM. It also was easily remedied with ear plugs (maybe the hotel can add it to its complementary item list). Overall, a great stay experience and looking forward to repeating it soon.

Ocean, sea breeze, and good service are all found at the Seabird Resort. They were attentive and kind. The place was decorated in strange art that was like kid themed with seabirds. So I was a bit confused as to what they were going for. Definitely upscale and each room had water bottles, slippers, and bath robes. I did run into an issue of a red blinking light that was by the bed and then in the bathroom with a chirping sound. Kept me up at 2am and I went down to ask only to be told they didn't know either. See video. Now the front desk in the morning was apologetic and they comped breakfast and resort fee/valet parking. I appreciate the effort--sad I only stayed one night and it was not much sleep. I did enjoy the hotel area.

Amazing resort, it is always a pleasure to spend some time there even if to just check the fabulous art, have a coffee, go to a meeting or enjoying a spa day. It is definitely my favorite resort around, always super clean, such nice decor, I always feel on vacation mode in Oceanside!

We stayed at The Seabird Resort on February 15th to celebrate Valentine's Day. We've been to this hotel a few times, but this time, the experience was very different because we learned that Vice President JD Vance was staying at the hotel at the same time we were there. They blocked the streets around the hotel and set up checkpoints to carefully inspect our car before entering the area. Then, they checked our bodies and belongings, similar to airport security, when we entered the hotel's front entrance. We had a room with 1 King Bed and a Partial View on the second floor. However, a huge palm tree blocked the ocean view, so we could mostly see the street. There were also many police officers on the street nearly all day, so I could see them right in front of me every time I walked to the balcony. The room was very nice, with high ceilings and simple interior design. The bed was very comfortable. I also liked their slippers with the hotel logo, which were very comfortable to wear. The bathroom was clean and refreshing. We enjoyed playing pool at the Shelter Club in the evening and had a very nice breakfast at the Piper restaurant. However, we didn't really enjoy the beach in front of the hotel this time, as I didn't want to be checked every time I entered the hotel. Most of the time during the day, we stayed outside the hotel. The hotel service was great, and the front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again on a normal weekend, unlike this time.

Parking was valet only which was quick and seamless (and free!). The staff at the entry of the hotel was super helpful in providing directions to get down to the pool as one of my girlfriend's said it was a little confusing to find, but I was given a clear guide on how to get down there and got there without issue. We had our own server at the cabana who provided us with our free fruit plate and bottle of bubbly to share, and took food and drink orders. She and her coworkers checked on us pretty frequently and kept us well-stocked. The day was a little overcast and cloudy but the pool was a lovely cool temp, and the jacuzzi was in the same general area so when we got a little chilly we hopped on over. After spending some time in the adult-only pool area, we headed up to the family friendly deck and took a couple of runs down the slides, which was super fun. Around the time we were meant to clear out, our server was super sweet and let us know they would just start to pick up around us but we were welcome to stay longer if we wanted to, since there was no one coming in behind us. We continued relaxing until we were all ready to go but first we got to chatting with another staff member, Bryan, who was super rad and shared all his favorite nearby spots to eat. The staff is really so wonderful here! Very friendly and professional. Overall my first visit to the Park Hyatt Aviara was very enjoyable, and I would absolutely visit again (preferably on a hot, sunny day). Highly recommend for any and all poolside celebrations!

The front desk team, bartenders, and servers were all genuinely warm, welcoming, and helpful. Hospitality like this is becoming harder to find, and the staff here truly made the experience special. The location is simply breathtaking. The ocean views, the energy of Oceanside, and the overall atmosphere of the property make it feel like a destination in itself. In fact, I left Mission Pacific to stay at another hotel nearby because I wanted to explore a different property, and I regretted it almost immediately. Nothing compared to Mission Pacific. A special thank you to Eric (I hope I'm remembering his name correctly), who checked me in. He went above and beyond, taking the time to explain how to navigate the Coaster train to my next destination and offering thoughtful recommendations for the area. It was such a small gesture, but it made a huge difference and set the tone for the entire stay. If I could do it over again, I would have stayed here for my entire trip. Mission Pacific exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to come back.

I came across this hotel while searching online, and the oceanfront location immediately caught my attention -- something I always love. We decided to give it a try and compare it to our usual stay. We were assigned room 559, an oceanfront corner room, and the view was absolutely incredible. Honestly, I never wanted to leave the room. Every day for breakfast, we walked over to Piper at their sister property, Seabird Resort. One of the things I loved most about the location was how walkable everything was. Throughout the week, we were able to walk to several breweries and restaurants nearby. While valet parking is definitely pricey, we barely needed the car, which made it well worth it. Based on how much we enjoyed this stay, we're already coming back for my husband's 70th birthday during the first week of July. I'm so excited and really hoping we can get the same room again!

When we got to the front desk to check in, we had to wait while staff checked in another guest, which was understandable. However, after waiting patiently, multiple guests who arrived after us were helped before we were. Even a family who walked in later was taken ahead of us, which was frustrating and set a negative tone right from the start. I asked about upgrading to an ocean view room and was offered a room for an additional $100 that barely had a view at all. On top of that, I had booked a room with two queen beds, and they tried to offer a one-king bed room instead, which didn't make sense for a family stay. Once we got to the room, the beds did not appear to be true queen size and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. The air conditioning did not cool properly, and some areas of the room did not seem clean. We tried to make the best of the evening since we were only staying one night. Later in the evening, after I had taken a shower and was simply walking around the room while my family watched TV, we received a noise complaint and someone knocked on our door. We were not being loud at all -- just normal movement in the room. It was surprising and honestly upsetting to be approached about noise when we were simply settling in for the night. It made the stay uncomfortable and took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing beach getaway. Overall, the cleanliness, room conditions, and customer service need improvement. We didn't eat on site since we had plan for various places to eat nearby such as Buona (a fresh pasta place) which is next to Wynston's (a local ice cream with delicious local flavor such as roasted pineapple with cinnamon). This place is a good midpoint to Legoland and SD Zoo Safari Park. The only deduction to rating is due to the lacking guest services agent while checking in. The lady manning the counter was not welcoming, no smiles, and seems to just be annoyed. So much for a nice place when the guest services agent doesn't seem happy to welcome eager guests. Was not even offered welcome drink and I didn't bother to ask less getting more attitude.

We tried checking in at 5PM assuming the room was ready since check in time was 4PM and guess what, it's not ready because they are short staffed on a weekend!!! Then the next day when we checked out we also got charged a "room service" fee which was the doing of the previous person who stayed there. Nothing was done on anything and couldn't even waive the resort fee. Total for our stay for the night was $500+ Absolute rip off.

I specify in-person because calling them on the phone to confirm details was terrible. AI agent phone screen and then when a real person picked up, he seemed to have zero answers about the property and the amenities. In-person though, the service was fantastic. Friendly staff and guest services showing up at lightning speed left me speechless. Called down for extra slippers, and guest services showed up within 5 minutes. Asked for water as well and he returned within 2 minutes. Swear the staff must be sprinting or something. The rooms are great. We got a lagoon view, which while not as beautiful as an ocean view, was quite nice. We had a view of the freeway and a parking lot, but in the not-so-far distance, there was a nice view of the lagoon. The room. patio, and shower are all massive. Even at 100% capacity and a wedding happening during our stay, we never felt like it was too crowded. No loud noises throughout the night either.

We stayed at Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas, perched right along the coastline. Although it…read moresits close to the main road, the hotel feels quietly tucked into the edge of the ocean--a low, four-story retreat that opens itself to the sea. What I loved most was the room, especially the shower. It had a thoughtfully designed, thick glass door that opened easily. In most hotels, I hesitate before turning on the water, bracing for that sudden burst of heat overhead. But here, everything was arranged with care, so I could step in comfortably and enjoy the shower without that small anxiety. The details in the room made it even better--a Nespresso machine ready for a slow morning, and a proper water kettle, which always feels like a small luxury. The bed was soft and welcoming, the kind you sink into at the end of a long day. We didn't have an ocean view, but the patio had its own charm--quiet, intimate, and enough to make you pause. The best part, though, was the beach. Just a short walk down the stairs, and your feet meet the sand. The shoreline isn't wide, but it stretches beautifully along the coast. I found myself walking there in the mornings and again in the evenings, letting the rhythm of the waves mark the day. That simple routine--down the stairs, onto the sand--became the most memorable part of the stay.
