From day one, she made us feel so confident, cared for, and completely at ease. Maddy (Megan's assistant) was just as incredible -- the two of them together are an absolute dream team. Even when we sadly got rained in, Megan and Maddy went above and beyond to create the most beautiful, graceful indoor setup. We completely forgot about the weather because everything inside was so stunning. The food was incredible, the communication was seamless, and every detail felt next level. On top of that, we had to make some last-minute modifications due to my dad's health, which understandably brought a lot of stress and big emotions. Megan and Maddy handled everything with such grace, compassion, and understanding. The way they supported us during that time is something we will truly never forget. We are beyond grateful for Megan, Maddy, and the entire team at The Crossings. They made our wedding day feel effortless, deeply personal, and unforgettable. We could not recommend them more.

From the very first conversation, Lauren made us feel cared for in such a genuine way. She answered every little question with patience and kindness, kept us grounded when we were overwhelmed, and guided us with a warmth that made the entire process feel easy and comforting. On our wedding day, everything flowed so seamlessly that all we had to do was be present and take it all in. The venue was stunning, the food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. Every member of the staff went above and beyond -- you could feel their heart in the work they did. It made the entire experience feel even more special. We are so grateful we chose The Crossings. It became more than just a venue for us -- it became a part of our story. We've already decided that we'll be coming back every year for our anniversary for dinner or brunch, just to relive a little piece of the magic and say hello to the place that meant so much to us. If you're considering The Crossings for your big day, we truly can't imagine a more loving, thoughtful, and beautiful place to celebrate.

It served as a secret meeting place for Founding Fathers like Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and the Sons of Liberty to plan events such as the Boston Tea Party. That being said the food here is very Boston. Think lobstahhh, clam chowder and new American classics like brussel sprouts and wedge salads. It's a casual place and there is an upstairs for giant parties (30+). Parking is ample and free. The museum is a large room with artifacts and info. It's free and a great place to read and learn something. Located near the outlets/Windmill in Coastal Carlsbad.

We enjoy the detached dining area were there are plenty of booth seats and appreciate the often almost private dining experience. The staff is usually very friendly and accommodating. The cocktails are always top notch and we've enjoyed just about every meal we had at Green Dragon from the delicious garlic knots with Marinara, the flaky turkey pot pie, the potato crusted cod, and Mac and cheese (with or without protein). We definitely recommend this as a most visit to experience some New England vibes and look forward to the next chance to visit.

The place was VERY busy while I was there but the lines moved fast and they had multiple places you could buy food and drinks which helped. They also have a little market with all types of snacks, food, and drinks that are perfect to enjoy out on the lawn or patio. We were too late to see the farm or animals but we could view them in the distance which was a really cool and unique experience. I cant wait to come back for one of their many events they seem to hold. Quick tips: parking was a disaster, don't assume you will be parking in their lot if you go on a busy night or weekend. They had options nearby though that you could walk from. Also, the margaritas are strong, but in a good way! Don't be fooled by the premixed drink, I had two and was definitely feeling it.

Pros: This place has such a fun and refreshing vibe very outdoorsy, peaceful, and almost like a little escape from the usual city spots. It feels like you're on a farm (because you are), which makes the whole experience really different and memorable. There's a brewery on-site with a good variety of beers, and I liked that some of them had Japanese-inspired flavors it made the selection feel more unique than your typical brewery. We also did the farm ride, which was $15 per adult, and honestly it was a really fun experience. It's definitely more geared toward kids (the little tractors are tiny haha), but it was still enjoyable getting to ride through the farm, learn about everything, and then interact with the animals. Being able to pet horses and chickens was such a cool touch and made it feel very wholesome. Parking is free, which is always a plus. It's more of a make-your-own-spot situation on a dusty lot, but it wasn't too bad overall we were still able to find a space without too much trouble. Cons: The parking setup can be a little tricky, especially if you have a bigger car like an SUV since you kind of have to squeeze into spaces. Also, the farm ride is definitely more kid-oriented, so just keep that in mind if you're expecting something more adult-focused. I also wish the brewery operated more like a full bar setting, but it was still nice to try the beers. Verdict: If you're looking for something different and a little more interactive, this is a really fun spot to check out. It's great for a casual day outdoors, especially if you want a mix of activities, animals, and drinks. I'd definitely come back and would be interested in trying the restaurant there next time!

We've visited twice. The first time wasn't a great experience because, unbeknownst to us, there was…read morea kids' birthday party taking place. The play area was exceptionally crowded, and my toddler who had just turned 2 at the time had a hard time navigating around the older, bigger kids. The age range felt a little questionable to me. At other play places we frequent, the kids tend to be closer in age, but that wasn't the case here. My son was knocked around a few times by bigger children, and the environment became very overstimulating. We ended up leaving early because of the chaos and my son not able to properly use anything... nearly all of the fruit and vegetable toys from the market area had been scattered throughout the play space, leaving the market and kitchen section where many of the younger kids were gathered mostly empty. Overall, it just didn't feel like the right fit for us. We decided to give Kids and Coffee another try this past Wednesday, thinking it might be a better experience without a birthday party happening... and it was! We paid for two hours, stayed about an hour and a half, and my son had a great time. One thing I really appreciate about Kids and Coffee is that their café is nut and peanut free, which is especially important for families like ours dealing with multiple food allergies. That peace of mind was honestly the main reason I wanted to give the space another chance. We were even considering adding Kids and Coffee into our regular rotation since it's closer to us than some of the other play places we enjoy. Unfortunately, after our visit, my son became extremely sick most likely with norovirus. I completely understand that illnesses can happen anywhere kids gather, and I don't blame the business for that. However, during our entire visit, I didn't see any employees actively present in the play area. Parents, myself included, were gathering and returning the pretend produce to the market area, but none of the toys appeared to be wiped down or sanitized. At other play places, such as Tiny Tiger, there always seems to be staff actively cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day. Because we have been to so many play places now with great experiences and have not come home with an illness from any other we will just be sticking to our regular spots moving forward. I think sanitation still needs a little work at this location or perhaps even someone checking temperatures at the door like other places All in all, we unfortunately won't be returning.
