Bheauview Ranch was the best place for our June 2018 wedding and rehearsal dinner. It had gorgeous outdoor spaces that were varied and allowed for out guests to have a great time while we spent time getting ready in our own rooms for our ceremony. Being around rescued animals and knowing that our event fee was going to support them felt really good and aligned with our values and the Ranch had what we needed. Shera is experienced with doing weddings and knew had to direct them and had recommendations of vendors as well although I brought in my own mostly. This is a unique spot in the San Diego area and it was certainly very affordable at the time given what we got and the prices that things go for in San Diego for a 70 person wedding. It's definitely worth checking out. read more

Shera came through for us 200%!!! We fell in love with the ranch and it was even more beautiful every time we visited leading up to our wedding day (in early June 2018). She and her staff really do continually make improvements to the property. On the week of our wedding, Shera allowed us to make several trips to drop off items and add some decorations around the property. Having this option allowed us to save sooo much money!! We didn't need to hire a florist since we did it ourselves the day before and we didn't need to pay anyone to deliver other items on the day of, since we had either brought it earlier or the venue took care of it (the necessities like chairs, tables, cocktail tables+linens). Shera has so many beautiful decorations, signs, lanterns, wine barrels etc. that I was able to decorate to my heart's content without having to buy or make too much of my own DIY decor. The day prior to our wedding, Shera also offered to decorate the arch behind our sweetheart table and the wagon wheel in the barn. Her assistant, Coco did a great job with that. We really appreciated those extra, last minute touches. This venue is really a special place. I would recommend hiring a day-of coordinator to help ensure things go according to plan. read more

I got married here in August 2017. The outdoor part venue itself is beautiful. There are lots of plants and trees that make it great for a garden-themed outdoor wedding. The owner, Shera, has some major changes to make before I would ever consider giving this place 5 stars. For future brides thinking about this venue, here was my wedding experience: +LACK OF PRIVACY. On multiple occasions during my wedding event, I noticed 3 of her friends just standing around gawking at everything and everyone. Part of the reason I picked her venue was for privacy and intimacy. I could have saved a lot of money and had my wedding at the beach if I didn't mind gawkers. She claimed they were there to help, and maybe they were...but I never once witnessed them doing so. I never saw any of the other people hired to help out just standing around staring. Her gawking friends not only made my guests uncomfortable (I received several questions and comments about them), but they appear in the background of lots of my wedding photos. My photographers clearly thought they were guests, because there is even a photo of the three of them just standing around talking! And one of them was supposed to be babysitting at that time! +DIRTY FACILITIES. I asked Shera the day of the wedding if the groom's quarters had a shower and she assured me it did. It absolutely did not have a working shower, and my groom had to use a shower in the bridal cottage. He also said the groom's cottage wasn't clean and smelled of cat urine. The bridal cottage was slightly better but was musty and dusty with spider webs in every corner. Seems like it hasn't had a deep clean in quite some time. +ATTEMPTED THEFT. Shera's intrusive friends tried to steal a necklace that my groom had purchased for his mother. He forgot to give it to her before the wedding, so the day after the wedding we went back to the venue to get our things. Cindy, "the babysitter", walked up to my groom before he went into the groom's quarters and said that she saw "some shady people hanging around the groom's quarters". Really? Hmmm, who were the shady people? My invited guests? I highly doubt it. That comment only made her look more guilty. It was right then that my groom noticed his Mom's necklace was missing. Seems pretty suspicious to cast blame on someone else right before you know they are going to notice something is missing. Even more suspicious that it magically reappeared once it was brought to Shera's attention. Her friend said that it had simply "fallen out of the bag". Why were other people in the groom's quarters in the first place? +OVER-PRICED FLOWERS. She charged me $500 for 8 flower arrangements, table greenery, and swing decoration. Yet when I arrived at the venue, only 7 of the 8 centerpieces were ready. The centerpieces were of very low quality as well. There were ants and spiders crawling all in them, and they were made with greenery that had clearly been eaten on by insects. The leaves were visibly covered in dirt and had holes and bites taken out of them. My sister, mom and I pulled out the worst parts, but didn't have time to do a great job fixing them. I would have thought that her "friend who was a florist for years" would have had the professional sense to use greenery that wasn't covered in dirt or half eaten by bugs. And finally, the swing was clearly forgotten about and I had to tell her to do that less than an hour before the wedding. +FAKE BABYSITTERS. I told her there would be 4 children in need of care and she quoted me $15/kid/hour. So I paid her for 4 kids x 5 hours. One of the kids couldn't make it, so I asked for my money back for that portion of the babysitting fees. She eventually refunded that but it was only after we exchanged some heated emails. My family that left their children with the "babysitter" didn't leave them for long because the babysitter was caught on several occasions completely ignoring the kids on the floor while playing with her cell phone and talking about how good all the dessert was (why was she eating the dessert I paid for?). Lastly, I failed to tell my sister that I had pre-paid for babysitting, so she gave the awful babysitter $60. I didn't find this out until a week after the wedding and when confronted about it, Shera defended her friend saying her friend thought it was "just a tip". HAH. She eventually refunded this as well. The price of $8,500 was not worth it. read more

Wow! What an amazing party venue. (Ours was THE perfect wedding of our grandson and his beautiful bride!). The staff at Bheau View were meticulous in taking care of every detail. The view is stunning and provides the perfect backdrop for wedding pictures. We've been to weddings in parks and wineries and this far surpassed those options. There are endless amenities offered in the their wedding packages and they have top notch local Vendors for any want or need you may have when planning your next memorable event. Bheau View Ranch is a beautiful space with lots of options for events and weddings. If you are looking for a relaxed space with rustic charm this is your place. It gives you the feeling that you're miles into the country. There are plenty of animals to add to the country charm, including lots of horses! There is plenty of space to accommodate your guests and create the custom ceremony you would like. There is also a house the bridal party and family can use to get ready so you don't have to worry about traveling far! read more

grounds were gorgeous but nightmare awaited unorganized drunken last minute hire staff drinking eating our paid for venue 3 of my bridesmaid had personal items, money & credit cards stolen from their purse. Some of my guests had money stolen from their purse & items were stolen from guests cars. Heard of that from guest that was informed by another they did not want to tell me so I wonder how many more had phones items even hubcaps from BMW disappeared. We had great time too much to drink but that doesn't mean we can ne robbed. read more

Bheau View Ranch was my dream wedding venue! I just got married there on June 2, 2018. It was seriously a dream come true. The owner Shera is such a beautiful human being. All she wants is for the bride to be happy. Her and her team goes all in to make your day the best day ever! Ever since I booked the venue over a year ago, i was able to go over to the ranch and chat with Shera with any questions I had. And every time I would show up there would be something new to the ranch! Definitely a bonus. Shera has so many wedding decor items that are available for you to use when your book your wedding at the ranch and she just keeps on adding! If you have an idea of something, she will make it happen. She made a whole new fire pit area for s'mores just for my wedding. It was so awesome. She also let my mom and I make multiple trips the week of my wedding to drop off all of our extra decor items and start setting them up so it wasn't a lot of work the day of. Extra bonus since it saved us money. We also used them as our florist. Shera and her florist coco, who is amazing, use flowers and greenery growing right there on the ranch for my bouquets, boutonnières, ceremony arch, and reception table flowers which would be so expensive if done by any other florist. AND! Her ranch is a non profit horse rescue and education center. All of the money for your wedding goes right into running the AWE foundation. Which who else can say that your wedding venue rental money goes to helping save horses and to educating youth! Seriously such a beautiful place and wonderful people. Shera and I are still in contact today and have made a wonderful relationship together. Such a beautiful place to get married and feels like home. :) read more

This venue was everything I could ever imagine for my wedding. The unique charm & natural beauty Shera and her team have put into this private estate made for a gorgeous backdrop! Not to mention, we were blessed with perfect weather & having our wedding in April ensured the estate was flourishing with spring flowers! We had our ceremony in the barn and it was absolutely studding! You could hear the horses in the background and the light breeze came in through the open doors. The barn made for an intimate ceremony which is exactly what we hoped for. From there our guests flowed right into cocktail hour and we provided our own lawn games for entertainment. We had our reception in the garden and it was so magical as the sun was setting. The twinkle lights above and awesome DJ (we used Faultline, recommended my Shera & he was honestly the BEST) had our guests dancing until the very last song! We had a sparkler exit right outside the barn and it was the perfect end to the night. We recently held our daughters wedding at Bheau View Ranch on April 28, 2018. We choose this location because it was everything my daughter was looking for. We started our planning with Shera months before the wedding. She was always readily available to return phone calls or meet us at her Ranch to look around or ask questions. We visited the Ranch several times before the wedding to show family members and wedding coordinator. Shera was always accommodating and willing to meet with us. We chose to hold our ceremony in the barn and the chairs were arranged and ready to go day of event. Chairs provided by venue. Our dinning and dancing festivities were on the lawn under the stars with twinkle lights surrounding the area. The tables, chairs, dance floor and portable outhouses were provided by the venue. Gorgeous barn ranch style tables. All the rage these days with weddings. The views were just spectacular. All of our guests were very impressed with the venue and everyone enjoyed theirselves immensely. The girls were able to prepare and get ready for the day in the cottage. Decorated very cozy and comfortable. The gentleman part of the Bridal party prepared to get ready in the smaller cottage. We used several of Shera's recommendations (listed below) for our celebrations and they were fantastic. Very familiar with the venue. So everything went smoothly. DJ -Faultline Music Service. Fantastic DJ- very professional. Catering -Bekker's Catering- delicious food, appetizers, very plentiful. Bar Service- Two Olives and a Twist. Overall we have no complaints, just wonderful memories. We had our daughter's 4/29/17 wedding at Bheau view Ranch. We knew it was the right venue for us the moment we saw it. It truly is a magical and tranquil place. The ranch is beautiful with different areas of interest sprinkled all around for guests to enjoy. It also has a rain contingency (using the barn for the ceremony) which was key for us. It allows food trucks so that checked another box. Springtime brought added dimension to the grounds as more of the flowers started to bloom and the lawns were vibrant green. The owner of Bheau view Ranch, Shera, is a joy to work with. When she says they will make your dream happen she means it. She was always available to answer questions and reassure me about the what if's. Every single guest we had came up to us to tell us what and amazing venue this was and they had never been to such a beautiful and fun wedding. The price is very reasonable. They went over and above to make us happy. We feel truly blessed to have found such a great place that gave us such an amazing and special experience! read more
