The handwash area is common and there's really no mirrors. Imagine if you're wearing a long gown - Disgusting. The outdoor areas are so uneven and rocky. Completely killed my Louboutins - soles are gone. The garden area for the ceremony is so small and their sound system was not good - it was going in and out. For the reception area - it's a big covered tent with ok lighting. Food sucks. Can't even describe how dry the food was and the mash potatoes tasted like a boxed type. Guest parking requires walking from below area grounds to the ceremony area. By the time you reached it, you're all sweaty and tired. Not disable friendly either. I heard it's a cheap venue, so I guess you get for what you pay.

Being around rescued animals and knowing that our event fee was going to support them felt really good and aligned with our values and the Ranch had what we needed. Shera is experienced with doing weddings and knew had to direct them and had recommendations of vendors as well although I brought in my own mostly. This is a unique spot in the San Diego area and it was certainly very affordable at the time given what we got and the prices that things go for in San Diego for a 70 person wedding. It's definitely worth checking out.

The team is organized, accommodating, and genuinely enjoyable to work with, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. One of the biggest advantages of this venue is the flexibility they provide. Unlike many newer venues that require you to use a limited list of vendors, Estrella allows couples to choose their own vendors. They provide excellent recommendations and preferred vendors while still giving clients the freedom to work within their budget, as long as vendors meet insurance requirements. The location is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff is outstanding. The ceremony under the hanging ferns has got to be one of the prettiest ceremony spaces I've seen. The dinner area that was under the white tent was also very well decorated and spacious. Everyone working was very friendly and helpful. Kind of cool/helpful that they have walkie talkies to converse with each other throughout the venue.

Arrived and the valet process was very smooth. They gave us directions on where to walk to the reception. The ceremony was in their woodland grotto which had a canopy of leaves/plants above. It was about to rain but as it started it cleared up immediately and the lighting got really bright. We then had cocktail hour after with appetizers and mocktails. One of their yogurts they gave out was so good and addicting. There was also a place to take pictures outside. Food during the dinner was amazing, loved that roast with mashed potatoes. The property is absolutely stunning, with well maintained grounds, ample parking, a spacious, air conditioned bridal suite with mirrored walls, clothes racks, and an ironing board. The suite even has its own bathroom. The venue has a decent sized dance floor along with enough room inside to seat close to 200 guests. The bathrooms were clean and had multiple stalls to accommodate the ladies. There is also a huge kitchen with a walk in frig that is available for use as part of your rental. We had approximately 250+ guests attend our event and there was plenty of space in the back lawn area for over flow seating. We used the outdoor patio area to set up 4 buffet lines of food. 2 lines for our catered meal, 1 line for kids meal, and 1 line for our cultural foods. The patio area also had ample room for us to place our photo booth there. The back grass and patio area looks spectacular at night with the market lights to add to the festive ambiance. The grounds were large enough to house an adult sized jumper that helped to keep our younger guests entertained. The grass area still had plenty of available space for a corn hole spot, our marquee letter signs and our taco guy we hired to end our night's festivities. Shannon is the property manager, and she is a true gem. She worked tirelessly with us to help obtain all our vendor COIs and was extremely kind to allow us to come the day before our party to drop off our drinks and many party supplies. Anything we needed, Shannon was there to help resolve. She is friendly and professional, with a sense of humor to boot. We received sooo many compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful the venue was. Of course, anyone who dealt with Shannon adored her and her down to earth vibe! We loved that we could bring our own food to the venue without being tied to a set list of food vendors. The bar area was also spacious and the bartender kept the libations flowing all night long. The Optimist Club has 3 belly tables with linens that came with rental of the venue. These worked out fabulously for our guests wanting to hang out by the bar and smoking area. We highly recommend the Vista Optimist Club for your next large family gathering. Our sincere thanks to Shannon for helping to make our party a huge success!

This venue truly feels like a dream for photographers and for couples looking for a unique, beautiful setting. The layout is so cool! A stunning house sits at the top of the hill, and the drive up is lined with orange trees, which immediately creates a magical experience. Just below, there's a pond with a gazebo, and only a few steps away you'll find the ceremony site. It's already gorgeous on its own, but it becomes even more breathtaking with added decor. The reception area, with its canopy of sparkling string lights, feels warm and romantic without needing much enhancement. My couple started their day with getting-ready photos in the bridal and groom suites, which are full of character. There are so many thoughtful details and props from vintage trays to elegant silver-framed mirrors, that make for creative images. We also used the spacious, beautifully lit living room for portraits. The first look and bridal party photos took place just outside the house, which provided a private and peaceful setting since guests gather in a separate area for the ceremony and reception. After the ceremony, we explored the gazebo and pond for more portraits. One of the most unforgettable moments was sunset!!! My jaw was on the floor! The sky turned the most incredible shade of pink, with mountains surrounding the venue and the string lights beginning to glow. It was absolutely breathtaking, and I couldn't stop taking photos. As the evening continued, the dance floor area became the perfect backdrop for nighttime shots. What I love most is that the reception space is already so stunning that it doesn't require much decor, though decor can elevate it even further!! I'm also a big fan of Kelsey and Peter's Instagram! They share behind-the-scenes moments of running and renovating the venue with their family, and it's so fun to follow their journey. Overall, Enchanted Hills Estate is a truly magical venue that offers endless opportunities for beautiful, memorable photography and the owners are truly the best people who care about the couples!
