With the debut of Dublin's newest government building (the Coliseum-like Criminal Courts of Justice) just yards from its front door, The Sandwich Market is fast becoming the perfect stop for those hungry for justice -or a decent chicken and coleslaw sarney.
Short on space but well-equipped for the lunch rush, this tiny shop offers the homemade taste of the stuff you like: bagels, wraps, jacket potatoes or fresh hot soup... even a few breakfast items first thing in the morning. The shop features a huge menu of options for any time of day, with lunch time deliveries (or pick up) for groups available daily as long as orders are placed before 11am.
Sadly, there's no seating to be had, although after waiting in the mob who gather between 1 and 2pm every day, you'll be grateful for a chance to pop back out onto Parkgate street for a breath of fresh air.
Lunch timers can expect to spend around €7 for an Americano, filling Ciabatta sandwich and packet of crisps. read more
