Hot food is served from about half twelve until two and is great although a bit expensive at between €11 and €12 for a lunch.

There's plenty of seating and free newspapers if you've an hour to kill. I find the food a bit too expensive and don't really like sandwiches and would prefer more savoury items on the menu but the cakes are quite tasty albeit a bit on the small side.

I always go to this costa and last saturday myself and my fiancee went in to study for the day as…read moreyou can imagine we would be spending a good bit there through out the day. My Fiancée found a table to sit at and I started to queue. A young woman served me, who I later found out to be named Katie. I asked for a large Americano and a large coconut milk hot chocolate, handed in my loyalty card and paid with card. I waited a couple of minutes for my drinks and brought them to the table my fiancée had managed to get. I opened my take away cup and I was very confused, it seemed very white for a hot chocolate. For a moment I thought I had picked up the wrong drink, but I could smell coconut off it so I was guessing the barista had just forgotten to put in the chocolate powder. I went back up to the Katie and said "I don't think there is any chocolate in this", Katie told me it was all at the bottom and asked me if I wanted a spoon to mix it, I took her up on her offer and went back to my table. I gave the drink a good mix with the spoon Katie gave me and it was still white. Even more confused I looked at my fiancée and he said it was a white hot chocolate, which I didn't even know was a thing. Once again I went back up to Katie and said" I don't think there is any chocolate in this" to which Katie replied "I put four pumps in it, but I can put more in it if you want". At this point I was very confused I said I want a normal hot chocolate with coconut milk. Katie very rudely responded to me and said "you said white hot chocolate, I heard you say white hot chocolate, but I will get it for you" and I replied with "I didn't even know white hot chocolate was a thing". Yet she insisted I said white hot chocolate. Katie went to make me a hot chocolate with coconut milk and I turned to my fiancée in complete disbelief that she had called me a liar. I was in utter shock and I immediately turn to her and said "actually you can leave it, I'm going". I walked down to the table and said to my fiancée "I'm going" and we got ready to go. As I passed the payment point Katie with a very sarcastic tone says "Are you sure?" and I just asked her for her name which she replied "excuse me" I had to ask again for her name and she told me Katie was her name. As I walked out of the café Katie shouts with a sarcastic tone again "See ya, have a nice day!" I will never go to costa every again.
