Thumbs down from me I'm afraid, but I think it's only fair to justify it with one commonly accepted fact: "Air food", airport and plane food, is universally awful. There are no known exceptions in this universe, or, the other three to which I have travelled. Right, so given that this starbucks is in Dublin Airport I was expecting a pretty poor breakfast, if not a traumatic experience of some kind. Firstly, the Barista was a bit snappy with me. Under normal circumstances this wouldn't even register. But her tone and manner just grated with the script she'd clearly been forced to learn off. It was really terrible to hear someone so insincere. I don't mind. If you're in a bad mood then, by all means, tell me to fuck off. At least there's some honesty in that service. And having worked in a deli, I know it's probably deserved. Anything's better than a script read with an enthusiasm usually reserved for your first day of forced hard labour in the outer regions of Siberia, or worse, Cork. Then they got my hot chocolate wrong. I wanted "no cream" to stay, they gave me "cream" to go. Again, this is the type of thing I really couldn't care less about-had I not had to fill out a twenty question survey on how I wanted said hot chocolate. Finally, this monsieur was decidedly unhappy with his croque. It tasted all chemically(yes, that is the technical term) and really wasn't nice at all. I didn't finish it. I am not the type of man who doesn't finish meals, I finish other peoples meals, dammit, I'm ranked as the 8th largest cause of world hunger! An unfinished panini is a pretty bad panini. The chocolate was lovely though, but that's the least you'd expect from somewhere so proud of their brew.

Ridden seating behind Starbucks Landside

Oh, bless your boots Landside Starbucks, there's no where else I'd rather burn my mouth on a hot cup of lava at 8am waiting for check in to open.Sure, that's looking at the silver lining of waiting around in an airport, but if you need a little consistency in your pre-travel experience, this is it. Serving from the uniform menu of Starbucks Corporate, specials and coffees here are made to the same standards as you'd find anywhere in Ireland. That slice of blueberry cheesecake you've paid €3.50 for will be just as tasty here as it was in Swords. The staff aren't necessarily ambassadors of Cead Mile Failte, but as there's very little chance you'll see them again it's easy to overlook. Be sure to speak clearly when making your order, while I stick the the aul Tall Americano for simplicity's sake, himself has returned incorrectly flavoured lattes more than once. A side note for those stranded for several hours; when the couches and armchairs out front are taken, slip round the back of the kiosk for more (mostly empty) seating.

Venti Chai Tea Latte

Located in a central location right before gates 100-250 (approximate gate numbers). Wait time was below average compared to United States wait times. Staff is very knowledgeable as the two drinks I ordered were not listed on the menu and executed very well. The drinks I ordered were a Venti Chai Tea Latte Iced and a Venti White Chocolate Mocha Hot. The one tremendous difference that I noticed was that the Venti size is completely different in this location compared to the locations in the United States. Their Venti size is just lightly larger than an American sized Grande. Also the Venti size in iced drinks is smaller than their Venti size in hot drinks.Prices remain the same (slightly more expensive as the conversation from USD to Euros is higher). I was able to use my Starbucks app to pay and gain stars even though my Starbucks card was in USD. Lovely little stop before boarding the plane!

This is the worst Starbucks in the world. They don't take Starbucks cards. Their menu is very limited. It's a crappy franchise.

We stopped here to grab some breakfast before our flight…read more The love was fairly long, but it moved pretty fast. We grabbed a ham and cheese sandwich and a Croque Madam and they warmed them up for us. The ham and cheese was on a cheese covered bread which we looked better. For drinks, I got a Maple Rooibos Latte and my husband got a pumpkin spice frappuccino. They didn't give me whipped cream like they were supposed to on mine so they added it. They also put these chocolate flakes on it which were not supposed to come on it. It tasted like normal tea so it wasn't that great and I don't like chocolate so I ended up throwing most of it away. My husband said his tasted like burnt coffee. I probably wouldn't come back here again. It didn't seem like they were well versed in making drinks here.

One thing about Starbucks, you never get bored…read more.. 1* for the rapidity service : the queue is not too long. I don't know how they do it but overall you get served pretty fast. Minus 1* for the service : depending on the day and the time of the day, you can be served by either the loveliest person in the world or the crankiest. 1* for the creativity : the latter has a big influence on what name you will be given. Today my name is 'Gabrielle'. How sweet! At least it exists. The guy before me ordered an expresso and his name was 'Ze'. And I read it right. There is no way I could have got that wrong. 1* for the cappuccino : tasty alright! Minus 1* for the price : 3.75 for a cappuccino grande. Yes sir. What could I do? It's either that or a 1euro bottle from Boots. I needed some caffeine so... Overall today is a good day. The girl who took my order was really nice but the one at the cashier hasn't absorbed her morning dose of caffeine ;)

A very mixed bag. Ill get the good out of the way before I…read morehit the bad. The Coffee there is great and very well presented (I added a picture of a cappuccino they made me with chocolate sauce topping in the design of a spider's web for Halloween and the best bit, chocolates in the shape of coffee beans)The manager herself is really friendly and open to suggestions and the place is always decorated for all calendar occasions, even Easter for some reason. They have a good loyalty card stamp system. 6 stamps for a free coffee of choice. It has wheel chair access and outside decked seating with a canopy and parking. Nice open seating inside. However as it is the only coffee shop around for some distance it is not up to standards in other important places: 1. For a local coffee shop (like a "caf" on an English soap) it is really over priced for what it does. 3.50 for a cappuccino and over 5.00 for a packaged sandwich with no sides or presentation. Its a crazy price considered they rarely do the nice coffee designing any more. 2. The display food is very bad (and expensive) Avoid. one of the worst cheese cakes I have tasted. 3. the kitchen food is ok, but has a very limited menu. I was delighted when they got pancakes in but they appear to be those small fat ones you get in packages from the shops. 4. They recently shortened the opening hours. it used until 6pm now it closes at 5pm. Considering its location, that is a lot of after work customers counted out. 5. It is part of what used to be a large pub. It is now divided into a off licence to the right, cafe in middle and pub on the left. The issue is the toilets are over in the pub and there is sometimes people who have had a few to many, making their way through the cafe, from the pub to get to the off-licence. It also still feels like a local pub rather then a stand alone cafe. In all the place is good for a local. Good for a coffee with friends at weekends. The prices need to come down, for the crunch time we live in and for the quality of what you get. For a place that puts so much effort into decoration and customer survive they seriously need to put some effort into food.

I'm really fond of this place. It has a great local café feel and the food I've had there has been…read morereally tasty. They do a full Irish breakfast for €8.20 and a mini breakfast for €6...which is actually plenty! They staff in there are nice, and when my little sister didn't want eggs in her mini breakfast they had absolutely no problem substituting for beans. My parents were very happy when I brought them there for breakfast too...my Dad even decided he deserved a breakfast dessert of a blueberry scone which he gave a big thumbs up. Coffee is surprisingly good and they do a range of lunches, smoothies and hot chocolates too. Much to sample! Downsides are that I always kind of feel it should be cheaper-it's on a small street in a residential area. They probably do good business from nearby schools though, as well as all the locals who seem to pop in. The fries are very freshly made....which unfortunately means that the place has a bit of a "caff" smell at times!
