When we arrived, we ordered one round of drinks at the outside bar and paid by card. We then decided to stay for food, so we sat at a table where another bartender took care of us. We ordered another round of drinks along with our food. During our meal, we were suddenly presented with another bill for drinks. Naturally, we were confused because we had already paid. When we questioned the bartenders, we received two completely different explanations. The inside bartender told us the drinks should have been included on our food bill and said she didn't understand why the outside bartender was charging us again\. The outside bartender then claimed that drinks ordered at the outside bar go through her system separately. I specifically asked whether those drinks would also appear on our food bill, and she said **no**. Based on that explanation, we paid. Imagine our surprise when we received our final food bill and those same drinks were on it AGAIN. At that point, we spoke with the manager, expecting him to simply look at the receipts and correct the mistake. Instead, we were given yet another explanation. He claimed that the charges appearing on my bank statement were simply from tipping and insisted he only saw one signed receipt. Double charges appeared cause I tipped??? Except...I signed two receipts and had both receipts in my possession. So, despite ordering two rounds of drinks, we were ultimately charged for three. Mistakes happen. Technology glitches. People make errors. What is unacceptable is being given conflicting stories, having legitimate concerns dismissed, and then being told something that simply isn't true when you have the receipts sitting right in front of you. I'm not going to accuse anyone of intentionally stealing from customers, but after this experience, I certainly understand why a customer would feel that way. If you choose to visit this establishment, do yourself a favor: CHECK YOUR BILL Then check your bank statement afterward. Apparently, you have to be your own accountant when you're here. We won't be returning. There are plenty of places that appreciate their customers and can manage to provide a bill that actually matches what was ordered and paid for.
