This is a favorite spot of ours to stop at when we're in the area and on the road! The view is beautiful and we love sitting out on the deck during the Season. We've never had a bad meal here as well. Special Shout outs to the young male bartender and BOH for crushing it when our group of 20 came in Sunday afternoon! They handled us like Champs! Prompt drinks and great food! What more could you ask?! read more

**BEWARE -- Check Your Receipts Before You Leave** We visited this establishment the other night for the second time, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. When we arrived, we ordered one round of drinks at the outside bar and paid by card. We then decided to stay for food, so we sat at a table where another bartender took care of us. We ordered another round of drinks along with our food. During our meal, we were suddenly presented with another bill for drinks. Naturally, we were confused because we had already paid. When we questioned the bartenders, we received two completely different explanations. The inside bartender told us the drinks should have been included on our food bill and said she didn't understand why the outside bartender was charging us again\. The outside bartender then claimed that drinks ordered at the outside bar go through her system separately. I specifically asked whether those drinks would also appear on our food bill, and she said **no**. Based on that explanation, we paid. Imagine our surprise when we received our final food bill and those same drinks were on it AGAIN. At that point, we spoke with the manager, expecting him to simply look at the receipts and correct the mistake. Instead, we were given yet another explanation. He claimed that the charges appearing on my bank statement were simply from tipping and insisted he only saw one signed receipt. Double charges appeared cause I tipped??? Except...I signed two receipts and had both receipts in my possession. So, despite ordering two rounds of drinks, we were ultimately charged for three. Mistakes happen. Technology glitches. People make errors. What is unacceptable is being given conflicting stories, having legitimate concerns dismissed, and then being told something that simply isn't true when you have the receipts sitting right in front of you. I'm not going to accuse anyone of intentionally stealing from customers, but after this experience, I certainly understand why a customer would feel that way. If you choose to visit this establishment, do yourself a favor: CHECK YOUR BILL Then check your bank statement afterward. Apparently, you have to be your own accountant when you're here. We won't be returning. There are plenty of places that appreciate their customers and can manage to provide a bill that actually matches what was ordered and paid for. read more

We ate in the deck with a Veiw of the Susquehanna River. My wife and I shared small plates of shrimp tacos and scallops in a cream corn with bacon sauce. Both were excellent. Our server, Erica was friendly, accommodating and pleasant. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a great view, great food and excellent service! read more

Great local, dog friendly dive bar with outdoor seating and a view. We arrived after hiking with our dog and they had just opened. Our server was very sweet and kind, and checked on us throughout our stay at appropriate times. The food was solid and what you'd expect from a divey local bar like this and we were very pleased. Decent beer options, their menu was a little out of date as they didn't have the mango cart but not a big deal at all. I wouldn't hesitate to return my next time in the area! Also they have great daily specials. The day we went they had $5 dozen oysters! read more

Went to End of Summer Bash with my wife... such a good night. Started with Nachos, cheesesteak egg rolls and beer. Lots of music, locals and fireworks. We will be back next year and going to bring family and friends. I hope this event gets some recognition for the owners sake, while I'm sure it's going to get really crowded (I don't like crowds) we will be there because it was a great night... Thanks read more

Fun dive bar with decent food, good service & a good location on the river! This place is pretty big with a large outdoor tent with live music. Outdoor bar as well as a large indoor bar & dining room. A/C does not work well at all but then again, the doors are constantly being opened to bring food/drinks outside. If you can't deal with a dive bar atmosphere, this is not the place for you. The food was better than we expected: steamers, coconut shrimp, & thin-crust pizza. Service was very good, everyone was very friendly & the chef even came out to ensure our pizza was crispy enough - now that's service! We'll definitely come back to this fun & lively place! read more

Awesome huge divey bar right on the Delaware River. Ping pong and pool tables in the back along with a host of stages, outdoor seating, and party areas. Decent pierogies and priced beer. We enjoyed walking down to the river and playing ping pong in the extended bar area. If you drive by, stop like we did! read more

So horrible. It was my brother in law's 40th Birthday and we came here to celebrate. One of the guests tripped on the deck walking in and the bar tender with red hair refused to serve him any alcohol. He had NOTHING to drink all day and was working hard up until we went to dinner. I tried to brush it off, ordered my dinner and found a huge hair in it. Not going back ever again. To accuse someone of something that was clearly false is infuriating. The food was terrible, they were out of half the menu, and when I asked to order a coffee I was told they didn't have a coffeemaker. What?! 40th Birthday bummer at the Riverside. Hair included. read more

Great location and plenty of outside seating. The food was below average. Servers were attentive but had way to many tables. Good beer selection for a dive bar. read more

Really great place to host an event. We hosted our motorcycle club's annual event here to benefit St Judes. We had a great turn out, plenty of parking, space, and the like. The staff was beyond wonderful. They did a pig roast and everyone was very satisfied. We will be reserving this space again. read more

Food not great but someone I was with ordered a burger and said it was really good. It was a smashburger. Fries flavorless and cold. Cheesesteak was eh. But beer was cold and it is nice to hang on deck overlooking Delaware River on a good weather day. Waitress was great. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here read more

Nice atmosphere in here. Very clean and cozy. Ordered a grill cheese special. I like that it had Gouda cheese because it has a great flavor but it didn't seem like a hot grill cheese, it was on the cold side the cheese wasn't melted at all and the bread was very dry. The bacon was ok but my tomato soup to me was to peppery and tasted too much like spaghetti sauce rather then tomato soup. We also ordered the Bloody Mary burger which was good but from the description on the menu I was expecting an explosion of flavors and spice and that wasn't it at all. The fries were definitely awesome and so was the service. I would come back to try some other items on the menu and some drinks. read more

At 9:30pm during a pandemic where everyone is quarantined at home and nothing seems to be open past 10pm we appreciate these type of cool and hype places that still have their doors open! Food was awesome, "social distancing" outdoors was perfect, service was five stars and the live music was just a cherry on top and a great surprise. This exceeded our expectations we will come back during the day to enjoy the view of the lake :) read more

Outdoor seating during COVID which is great! Had so much fun on a Saturday night! Live band, portable outdoor heaters, and amazing service. Our bartender was so friendly and accommodating. I feel like this is usually mainly a bar (drinks) but the food was absolutely amazing. The ahi tuna nachos were BOMB. I will be back! read more

Ok I am writing this based on being a resident of the area for almost my whole life. Sure if you are expecting something classy and hip, this is not your place and you will probably be disappointed. Also, the other reviews are old and outdated. The whole place has been revamped and people flock to it more than ever. If you are looking for a locals hang out this is the place. The atmosphere, they have so many different rooms and outdoor spaces that you can really choose where you want to hang out. They often have bands in the back, they have a jukebox in the front by the bar, a pool table, TVs for all of the sporting events, and a dinning room. As for the outside, they have a deck on the back that wraps around to the side, and there are plenty of tables and a bar on the deck. There are quoits!!! Seriously name another bar that has quoits! They also have a beach volleyball court. They also have bands outside and a boat dock so a lot of people come on their boats, jet-skis, tubes, and what have you. Also, a lot of bikers come to this bar. Oh and they tend to have tournaments, whether its, vball, quoits, or pool. So it's a lot of fun if you're competitive. The service is pretty good, they do get packed so be prepared to wait a little, but the food is homemade so you can't get any better than that! I normally only drink beer and shots here, which come really quickly and are decently priced, they do have drink specials so look for them. Other people who have tried their mixed drinks seem to like them. As for food, its really good and it is great for bar food. My favorites are their wings, there are sooo many different flavors to choose from...yummm...also their clams are very good. They have a ton of different options so you can pretty much get whatever you want. They also have a late night menu, which is awesome, it is limited but when you've been drinking you really don't care how limited the late night menu is. Also for the ladies out there like me their bathrooms are updated and super clean!!! Yay! Seriously if you are in town, or even if you are from around Easton, check this place out! It's a good time! read more

I've driven past this a number of times and finally stopped in. Horrid service and some other people around us were saying the same thing. We only waited about an hour for sandwiches but there were people before us that were served after us. Food was ok, typical bar food. Drinks were w/o any alcohol I didn't complain but won't be going there again. Huge deck is great but maybe owners should change. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Cool location located right off of route 611. Don't expect anything fancy. I was not. I got what I was prepared for. A biker/local bar with a young crowd and a few loud Harley bikes. What I like: Great location.. Good prices.. Nice open deck What I did not like: Slow service.. spent an hour and a half there for basic bar food. Clams were cold.. Pulled pork was dry. I had to track down a waitress to get service and to pay my check. Maybe I got them on a BAD night but I was disappointed and will not be back. read more

Met some friends here the other day...They were throwing a charity event and used Riverside as the venue... What a cool place!.. This is a 'Biker Bar' on a remote wooded road running along side of the Deleware River...They have a small bar area inside with a few tables for possible dinner service...They also have a permanent tent in the backyard with picnic seating, a large bonfire pit and a large deck that wraps around the building with a 'tiki-like' bar...This is a very cool place that one could spend an entire weekend at!.. We enjoyed burgers and dogs cooked on their propane grills out back and listened to some local bands play on their home-made stage...A good afternoon was had by all!.. This is definitely a locals place...However, with all of its amenities, I could see this being a day trip for nearby counties...Maybe for a local band showcase, or a holiday BBQ... I live WAY too far away and don't know anyone in the area, but if I did, this would easily be our hangout... read more

I first went here back in 2012 I just bought my new car and me and a friend were cruising 611 heading to hit those winding mountain roads. We were getting pretty hungry and decide to pull in and get some wings.... They were amazing the selection of sauces and the favors themselves were out of this world. The blue cheese was fresh and you could tell by the taste it was locally made. Minced up blue cheese crumbles not creamy like that crap you buy at the store. They would give you the wings in a giant bowl and they were dowsed in one of their delicious sauces and there was a POOL of sauce at the bottom it was the greatest thing ever and the wings were huge! And the rest of the food was amazing too. Now here's the bad part ..... The place went south they got rid of the cook... The hippie guy with the bandana his culinary skills were off the chain. After they got rid of him the flavor of the food went down... The quality of the product went down and some of the best things are missing from the menu like the blackberry bbq wing sauce and a few of the others. The ribeye sandwich used to be 3 husky slabs of rib eye beef now they're 3 thin sliced pieces on a small store bought roll. This joint was my favorite place to go if I was cruising up the Delaware on a nice day now it's just meh.... The food is your average bar food now and nothing to write home about. I was very disappointed when things changed at this place it was like a diamond in the ruff on the river. read more

I ordered a cheese steak and fries when it came the steak was kind a small but I was hungry I really didn't. Care but I bit into it , it was like warm so I pushed it a side and dug into the fries they looked great , cold as a stone I was going to send them both back but my waitress never came back so I ate them cold don't ever order food there maybe a good place to hang out to listen to bands but small menu and bad service read more

I had call on 9/2 at 8:30 pm I had questions about an item on the menu that I had when I dined in a couple days ago and asked about the sauce the woman on the phone did not leave a clear answer. Later they called back my phone asking to order "blue waffles" I find this very unprofessional and disgusting coming from an employee. Then later stated this is not a restaurant when I called the number listed on their website which I called before to make a reservation. read more

Fantastic location right on the Delaware River. Large amount of outdoor seating (some are under umbrellas) with view of the river. Our waitress, Kelsey, brought our drinks with a smile. My Jack Daniels was poured generously. This is a happy place with several games for your enjoyment--I played ring toss on the patio. We were lucky to be there when there was live music. read more

Food is really good. We didn't get in, but took out so I can't attest to the service much. The bartender was friendly and our food was ready pretty quickly. The potato chips are AMAZING!!! The only downside is that is smells like cigarettes inside, but its a biker bar and I think it's to be expected. read more

The food is like 3.75 but I gave 4 stars for our waitress. She was amazing and went above and beyond. I wasn't a fan of the unsweet tea so she made me a fresh lipton tea. The burger was surprisingly great cooked medium, perfectly. Juicy. I got the Cheddar Bacon Ranch with cheese fries. Cheese sauce is home made. Small menu but great burger for a random bar and grill. View and seating is amazing. They have a huge sprawling back deck. Bar outside as well. River right in the backyard. read more

Walked in, and was denied, although I am 36 years OLD AND HAVE 3 CHILDREN!!!! THIS was so insanely ridiculous, I felt like a college kid, when I have 3 infants! Was simply looking for an escape from pandemic parenting and was denied from service. I can most certainly guarantee I won't be returning to this establishment. If people won't accept a single mother needing some relief then it isnt an establishment I will support. read more

Pros: amazing view, free refills on soda... Cons: service is absolutely horribly slow... food ok nothing great....sat outside....shame they have a bar right by the water, downstairs, yet it isn't open on the weekends in the Summer!! read more

Our spot to stop after a day of Shad fishing on the Delaware. Great environment with good music. Great (growing) craft beer selection. The bartender is the waiter but they are on the ball and you really do not wait that long for food or drink refills. Love the menu. Fried pickles! Rib-eye sandwiches! And many other items that are just fantastic on that menu. Outdoor seating, with a quoits pit and great view of the river (if seated inside or out). I/we Always visit when in the area. read more

I wish I could give you zero stars for your terrible service. The worst I've ever had! And then you have the nerve to charge me for everything (over $40). My friends finished eating before I even got my food. Our server then asked me if I wanted it as takeout but then didn't give me anything to eat it with (I was staying outside for a benefit). I never did get the plasticware. The manager/owner is not even here to complain to while they're having a benefit. Poor management, poor cooks, terrible service. You suck & I'm never coming back! read more

Please update your menu on your website. I called to order something off the current menu and was informed that it is no longer available. The online menu shows that the Ghost Pepper Burger is an option however was told otherwise not good business for those looking to order over the phone. Wanted to order at least order four more meals but didn't want to be bothered with "oh this and that isn't available anymore". Looks like I'll be taking my money to Johnnie's in Bangor instead. read more

With a fantastic deck, a set of great specials, and a decently varied menu, the RIverside is a great destination. There's a lot to do... a couple pool tables, quoits, darts, a few video games, and when they have their big events out back, there's a large stage with a beach volleyball court. Monday's special seems to pull in the most people (75c drafts 9 to 11), but their other daily specials are attractive, too. The people are typically friendly, and several times I've wound up there solo and have had plenty of interesting conversations. My recommendations: the wings, cheesesteaks, Riverside Chicken Sandwich read more

Huge disappointment. Should be called "ROADside" because it's not exactly on the river. Place is very big offering choices of where to sit. No draught beer at the Tiki Bar ( using the term loosely"). Ordered 2 types of wings. Easily the worst and second worst orders of wings I ever had. They arrived 6 minutes after we ordered (i.e cooked way in advance and reheated). They were so dry and cooked to death. Both sauces were nothing but butter or grease with either Tabasco sauce of chunks of raw garlic mixed in. Disgusting. Didnt eat more than 2 of each and left never to return. read more

So it was a warm day and just wanted a place to chill. So went for the first time. The location is right along the river. Many motorcycles that are traveling 611 stop in for a rest. What a makeover! Although the bathrooms are much nicer and the place is cleaner (there are even "fireplaces" now) the food was still nothing to write home about, I hadn't been here in years and now I'm thinking that's gonna change! read more

Great spot on the river. Nice outdoor deck - sat down the side away from the noise and the many smokers, so it was bearable. Were still close enough to hear the live music, which was actually pretty good. Food was very mixed. Steamed clams were good, boneless wings had nice sauce on them but were a little dry (seemed as if they were frozen, not fresh) and the pulled pork sandwich was dry to the point of being inedible so I sent it back. They graciously made me a new one. Beer selection was good and it was ice cold!! Our server, Vada, was awesome. Vada, the ice cold beer and the outside deck are the reasons I gave it three stars instead of two. Even though the food prices are reasonable, they need to up the quality. read more

Went to the Riverside for lunch and to check out the band on Memorial Day. We sat on the porch and had a good time. They offered veterans their first drink free but I didn't have my DD214 and my license isn't stamped as a vet so, no drink for me. No big deal, I don't expect or look for free stuff just because I'm a veteran. Anyway, drinks were cold and filled regularly. We had the Nachos appitizer, decent size and just the right heat. I had the pulled pork sandwich special for $5. A big tasty sandwich on a good roll served with hand cut chips. My wife had a California Cheesesteak. It was huge and came with hand cut chips too. My wife says it was the best she's ever had. The band was good too, an overall excellent stop, we would definitely go again. read more
