I had a salt stone massage with Kalyn today and it was so amazing! I have been having a really stressful month and my neck and upper back are messed up. Kalyn truly knows what she's doing and helped so much to break up the tissue that was causing me pain. It was so relaxing and the studio is really cute. THANK YOU KALYN:') go support these lovely women!! read more

My first facial ever with Ally was incredible! The Salt Studio is so small, intimate, and warm. I'll definitely be coming back! It's hard to see from the street until you're on Hill looking through the parking lot. Enter the lot on Walnut, near Holliston. My facial included gentle cleansing, exfoliation, a seaweed mask, and a calming mask as well as face and neck massage and extractions. The seaweed mask was very tingly and hot, but she only kept it on for two minutes so it was bearable. Plus, the facial ends on a very soothing note. As I said, this was my first time ever having someone massage and oil my face, and I had no discomfort! I told Ally that I occasionally have problems with perioral dermatitis, and she not only took care about the affected parts but even recommended some natural ointments and supplements to help with it! She went above and beyond, and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. Check them out on FB for updates on weekly specials and events. Make a trip for good vibes, relaxation, and a glow from the inside out. read more

I had the best prenatal massage ever from Barbara. I love massages even before I was pregnant so I def know what I like and what I don't. First, the staff is incredibly friendly from the booking to intake to payment, every part of the process was incredible. They made sure I felt welcome, comfortable and relaxed. I loved that it was a cell phone free zone and completely quiet to unwind in. Second, they are always asking what is making you feel good and comfortable. I love love that they automatically use fragrance free massage oil and if you do want flavored it is with natural essential oils. I had places that use crappy synthetic massage oil. Finally the massage. Barbara has these massage hands that make you feel so good. She isn't shy about getting into you. Previously I've been at prenatal massages where it was like a a super gentle whisper touch. It felt like I was being petted and not helpful at all. Barbara is the opposite. She understands your body and works to really loosen and relax you. This is what a true massage therapist should know. Barbara is incredibly talented. I would love to come to her post pregnancy! She is also really good at making you feel good while turning and making sure you are covered up. There is nothing negative about this place or about The massage itself except I wish I lived closer to come more frequently until my due date! If you are looking for the most amazing massage trust your body to Barbara and I promise you will not regret it. She has magic hands and feels you feeling amazing!!! read more

My first time trying the place and I am hooked! 75 min message with priska was amazing, she was so kind and accommodating. It was exactly what I needed. The room was a perfect size, soothing music, amazing aroma therapy, too! The only con is the parking as the parking lot gets packed, Diana suggested to park on union street which ended up working great. Thank you and I'll be coming back! read more

Can't stress enough how much my 2.5 year old LOVES this place! She has two loves in her world: gymnastics and Salt Studio (aka "SALT!!" according to her). She recognizes this place as we drive by and asks to go there every time. We go use the children's therapy room which is filled with a great variety of toys that are appropriate for her age. We use the Salt Studio as a maintenance place to help keep our immune system up and running. When I come here on a regular basis, I do feel a difference in my allergies. I don't wake up with an irritated sinus as much. We have also come here 4 days in a row earlier this year when my daughter and I both went through a bad flu. It helped us get better faster and we were fully recovered in a week. From my understanding, salt therapy can help with a variety of ailments such as asthma, skin problems, etc. Go check out Salt Studio. They also offer an adult therapy room, massages, and acupuncture. You would not be disappointed! read more

I had the best experience ever !!!! It was my first time having a real massage and it was awesome!!! I will go back really soon

I had to take a moment after my massage with Diana to get my footing back...I felt so relaxed and literally drunk. I had a salt wrap, mud wrap and massage with a trip to the beautiful salt room as well. I have never had a mud wrap before, and it was amazing...I felt like a blissful burrito on the biomat drifting away to far away realms. My skin and body feels amazing...Diana is pure gold...I love The Salt Studio. read more

I love The Salt Studio! They provide such a wide array of holistic services, that you will feel like you are on a retreat in the mountains! The owners and staff provide such a relaxing and nurturing space. The Salt Room was a new experience for me and I loved it! I was fighting a cough during my first visit and my cough disappeared within a couple of days. I've also received their massages. Their massage therapists were so present, grounded and have very lovely energies. They will make you float out of your body! My favorite part about the Salt Studio is that they are family friendly! How often do you find a massage or spa studio that caters to children's needs? They have a salt room for kids, pediatric massage, and children are welcome to most of their wellness events! If you are ever in Pasadena, The Salt Studio is a must stop! Bring the whole family! Highly Recommended! read more

Today I was lucky to receive a full body massage with Diana Leone, the owner of the Studio. So relaxing, cherishing and nurturing. First off, just walking in, I start to relax. This is a Family Spa. I love the Salt Room for the kids. Absolutely adorable. I'd attended a Family Sound Bath a while back-so much fun. Every where you look there is information about self care, books on meditation& massage for children, Essential Oils and they offer a variety of services. Signed up for more info on future events, they have quite a few. After my awesome massage, my Esthetician came in, Kathleen Van Dusen. Again, a beautiful, cherishing and informative service. She really knows her stuff. I left understanding what it's like feeling hydrated. I highly recommend this establishment. Unlike many Corporate run places, it was refreshing to not have to think about making sure I got my full time, or having my appointment messed up by someone in a call center in another state. The service was caring, prompt, and personal. Impressed! read more

My nervous system is so happy whenever I come here. This studio is so calm and peaceful. The events are always 5 stars! They bring in so many different people with different backgrounds. This is a great place to heal. read more

My wife has been a loyal customer for some time now. She recently scheduled me a massage with Tessa. As a customer, I probably shouldn't be saying this, but "Tessa is undercharging" for her massages. It was absolutely relaxing, and amazing. Tessa would ask if the pressure was a bit much, and she was sure to get into the areas of my muscles that needed it. You can definitely notice when someone puts their all into what they do, and Tessa is a good example of this. As someone who golfs 3-4 times a week, my muscles have been less bothersome. Thank you Tessa. read more

I love the Salt Studio and all services here. Diana is a wonderful massage therapist and utilizes aromatherapy which is really helpful if you have trouble getting out of thinking mode and into your body. Ask about fthe hot stone treatment and the salt scrub. read more

Diana creates such a calming and welcoming feel in her studio that it feels like paradise. The heated blanket with amethyst crystals adds such a great touch to the massage that I haven't had anywhere else. Believe me when I say that I love getting a good massage and have tried many different people around the world. Besides an ocean side massage in Bali, Diana's studio comes in a close second for most relaxing. And to be fair she can't really beat the one in Bali, can she? Give her a try and you won't regret it. read more

Amazing. The massage was incredible! I began to grow pretty weary about getting massages and wraps but The Salt Studio has changed all that. The music in the room was relaxing and I got to choose which aroma therapy oil I wanted. Everyone was super friendly and you could immediately tell that there was positive relaxing vibes. I'm used to going to korean spas but this has definitely reminded me how much better it is to have a private room and true specialist take care of you. Highly recommend it and would come again. read more

I did not know that this gem was located right by me! I highly recommend The Salt Studio. I never knew there was such a room that can make you feel relaxed and breathe better. I also had a salt scrub & massage by Philip. It was heaven on earth. I will definitely come back to the Salt Studio. read more

This place exceeded my expectations! I've tried many places, yoga, etc. to relieve my stress and relax. Nothing came close to my experience at the Salt Studio. I had a facial with Kathleen Van Dusen, she is very sweet! She made sure my needs were met and that I was feeling relaxed. My skin looked and felt great afterwards, even got several compliments from my friends who noticed my skin. Will definitely be coming back again! read more

I have come to The Salt Studio for my last 2 birthdays and I'm so happy a friend recommended this place. It is small and tucked away in a shopping center on Walnut. I got the full body works both times: salt scrub, mud wrap, and full-body massage lasting 2 hours. It is really just a divine way to pamper yourself. The salt is nice and course, my skin feels so clean and fresh after. The mud wrap is so soothing, you feel like a swaddled baby and the heat allows you to sweat out all the gunk on your skin. The icing on the cake is the full-body massage. I love that for the services you can pick the essential oil blend that you prefer. The whole studio smells amazing. The staff is very friendly, and I feel so peaceful by the end. read more

An amazing wellness experience all around! My therapist, Barbara, provided a very thorough, thoughtful and relaxing massage. She is very attentive and meticulous. I also added a salt session after my massage which was also very therapeutic and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and definitely going back! read more

The Salt Studio is a therapeutic relaxing environment from the minute you walk in the door! If you need to get rid of a headache or joint/muscle pain, book an hour with David. He is amazing and knows intuitively how to find the sore spots and he uses a variety of strokes and pressure to massage you back to health. Truly a healing massage. So happy I found David! read more

I won a free massage by Diana, and am hooked. Diana offers a purely relaxing experience to her clients. In addition to her calm and soothing demeanor, her spa space is place of tranquility. I felt instantly calmer by just walking into the space. Diana offers her own mix of aromatherapy oils for her clients to choose from. She is happy to make suggestions, and seemed to be able to pin point the perfect oil for me. Her clients are also provided with complimentary bath salts that allow us to continue the experience in our own homes. Unlike the more commercial spa experience, Diana Leone Massage offers a more personal holistic experience that left me feeling grounded and centered. I would recommend her to any of my friends, and am looking forward going back! read more

One of the most peaceful, nurturing, healing spaces in LA. This has become a core component of my families self care. Worth every penny to relax deeply in the healing salts. read more

I was looking for a Salt Room close to me. This location in Pasadena would be great. When I got there, everyone was super nice and helpful. It was small, cute, and cozy. When I entered the salt room, it wasnt cozy or warm, it felt cold and stale. I've been to a few. It shouldn't matter if I was there by myself, laying on the floor, or if the weather was cold outside. Never had a problem. After paying for my first session, hoping it would help my sinus and to relax on my way home. I didn't feel that at all. It felt like I wasted my time and money. I'm aware sessions are pricey. I'm willing to pay as I've auto pay elsewhere. I'm sure it works for people whose never seen other places. It didnt work for me. I won't be back, it was disappointing. I wanted to like this place. read more

I had a wonderful first visit to The Salt Studio today! My time in the salt room was so healing for my mind & body. The staff is friendly & accommodating. The space is beautiful & tranquil, both in the salt room & massage room. I had such a peaceful & relaxing experience, it literally feels like I went on a mini vacation. read more

My review is based on their customer service, it does not reflect the quality of the spa services they offer. I had made an appointment for two massages and a facial about two weeks in advance. The person who took my appointment seemed a bit confused at the time and I had to go over the services I needed to make sure she got it right. A few days before the appointment I hadn't received a confirmation email or call, which I had been told to expect. My mistake was to call the day of our appointment to confirm it. Lo and behold, they had only written down one person for a massage and not two, and they left out the other service I had asked for. I was very disappointed and had to scramble to find another place to accommodate us. I wish I could have enjoyed a relaxing day here; instead I was stressed out and will not seek to come here in the future. read more

Amazing place! Clean, quiet and relaxing. I take my family here especially when we have allergies.

This is a small place but calm, clean and cozy. I enjoyed relaxing in the salt room and my massage was fabulous! I need to make time to go back here and take advantage of more of their treatments and services. read more

This place is amazing! From their great customer service to their cleanliness and organization - this is the place to go! My family and I had a session in the Salt Room, it was so relaxing and fun to have everyone talk with no distractions. Even my 5 year old son enjoyed it! Now my mother, sister, and I came in for facials and it was amazing! So relaxing, in fact, I fell asleep on the table which does not usually happen! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Even considering a couples session. read more

Diana is very talented and gifted with healing hands. Her massage was fantastic but also her zen-like nature and soft-spoken ways also enhance the massage because she's not about chit-chat but about offering you a quiet healing experience. After her massage, my mind & body were more at ease. That's a tough gig for someone like me who is a full time professional and mommy to two little ones. I highly suggest her services and have already referred her to any and all I come into contact with that are in need of her healing powers. BTW -- the aromatherapy sprays are awesome and I use mine all the time .. she named it "Natalie's Vacation Mist" and I spray it whenever it's one of those insane days or when taking a bath. It offers a get-away essence to my otherwise hectic life. "Ahhhh _____ take me away." read more

I love Diana's massages. She has a warm nurturing touch. As a massage therapist I know this is something that can't be taught or learned, one simply has to be born with the gift, and Diana is definitely gifted. Her treatment room is very unique, more like a quiet sanctuary where you are able to relax as if you are in your own home. Even if I arrive stressed and worn out from my day I always leave feeling like Im lighter, floating, and in a much happier mind space. Thank goodness for Diana! read more

Came here for a morning treatment to help fight off a cold and sinus issues. I wasn't quite sure what to expect and it turned out to be a very relaxing space. Coming first in the morning I had the whole room to myself. Make sure to bring extra socks if you go. Spent the whole session focusing on breathing and felt the salt mist really help relax and soothe my sinus. I could've easily fallen asleep with the calm and quiet atmosphere. They suggest several sessions to help with certain ailments. I will be back again for sure every time my sinuses are acting up and sign up for more treatments on my next visit. read more

I heard about the salt room (halotherapy) for asthma from my naturopathic doctor. So, I googled locations nearby in LA, and finally visited this week. It was amazing! I felt so relaxed and my lungs felt more relaxed as well. They said the impact on breathing is cumulative, so I will feel more effects after time. I'm a fan. Wonderful, relaxing, and I feel it still days later. The women who work there were really friendly and helpful as well. Positive experience. I plan to take some family next. read more

This place is great. I went in for the first time today and got their lymphatic massage and spent some time in the salt room. I was apprehensive at first but saw immediate results. Within an hour I had zero pain in my neck and absolutely no muscle twitching which has been a constant problem for over three years now. I'm amazed and became a member as soon as I was done because the results are amazing and soooo worth the $80 a month. The people are all extremely kind and informative and the place itself is cute, cozy and clean. I wanted to commit to something that was going to do my body good all year round and now I have. So pumped to continue on with them and receive the benefits of their many services. read more

I have been coming to the Salt Studio for a couple of years now and I have to express what an absolutely wonderful and calming experience it is every time I go in. I've had several massages there over the years but on Friday I had a 75 minute massage with Tessa and it was probably one of the best massages I've ever had. Now, just for the record, any massage there is absolutely wonderful with whoever you get; I wanted to make that quite clear. Tessa, is an excellent massage therapist who is very caring about your needs and will customize the massage to what you need. Her techniques are perfect. I left the massage feeling very relaxed and very refreshed. I didn't have time this visit, but I usually I go into the salt room before any massage. So if you ever go in for a massage, try to make time for the salt room it's incredibly therapeutic and relaxing. I highly recommend this business and I highly recommend Tessa for any of your massage needs. read more

I recently visited the Salt Studio while visiting Pasadena with a friend. She gave me a salt scrub massage combo as a gift; what an amazing gift!! David was impressively skilled and intuitive - I get a lot of bodywork done as my work is very physical, and I've never had a first-time massage from someone who seemed to "get me" and go right to the spots that needed the most attention without verbal direction. As a result, I could deeply relax and fully benefit from his magical hands. A salt room visit after the massage completed a perfect visit. Wishing I lived closer and could go back again soon! read more
