Our entire experience was very relaxing. The spa is well kept & clean, & best of all we felt better after the initial treatment. It was our first time trying halotherapy, & I can tell you it really works. I would recommend it to anyone suffering from allergies or asthma. If you're in the Clifton area, the Salt Cavern is a place to go. Close to Market Street's variety of restaurants, grab a bite to eat and then head for your appointment here. What Salt Cavern offers is an extremely relaxing experience in a room filled with salt on the floor and on the walls , relaxing music, and reclining chairs that go 180 degrees. This is great for stressed adults (you know who you are) and kids who can sit still and stay quiet for an hour. Be sure to book an appointment (since you're on their Yelp page, you can book through here too!) on their site. Hour sessions are $50, but you can purchase deals on Groupon for $25. It seems like a lot of people have because upon entering, we were asked if we had a deal. The service is friendly and approachable if you have any questions. It's a great time to fall asleep, relax, or meditate. Do I feel less stressed? Yes. I don't think any of my allergies (as they claim) have gone away, but it was still nice. Maybe it takes more sessions! Overall a wonderful experience. read more

I had a groupon so I tried it today. I was very relaxed until an obnoxious woman came in late to our session. I was in the 12 o'clock session today. She should of not been let in. She came 8 minutes late and kept ruffling in her bag for items. She got up twice and then moved her chair twice. After 10 minutes she left. She came back for the 1pm session which isn't fair. She disrupted us but got another session out of it . I'll be back only if there is a groupon. Without a groupon it's overpriced. read more

Was a very cool relaxing experience. I am always stressed out and I do have bouts of allergies evey now and then so I tried this after I found it on Groupon. Nice room salted from head to toe. Relaxing chairs (Make sure to sit all the way back because my friend and I were confused at first how to get it to recline lmao). I went in with no shoes. Cool lighting. Music for the mood. Will be back. I also want to try Sole, ehich they sell for 35 dollars a pop. This was also a great learning experience about the benefits of Himalayan salt. read more

Best place to unwind and relax! I love the time away from my phone, my emails or any communication. To just relax and enjoy the music is beyond peaceful. I was here as often as possible when I was pregnant and it was a beautiful way to relax and hang out with my baby and feel him moving or kicking about. When my son was about 6 weeks old, I brought him here when he caught a cold and it was the only thing we could do to help him. Months later, after enrolling him in daycare, this place was a MUST to help him when he was sick or keep him healthy. This place is one of my happy places! read more

Came here with a friend for the first time today. I woke up this morning with a migraine (I suffer from them). After 45 minutes in the Salt Cavern, my migraine nearly disappeared. Heard great things about Halo therapy. Decided to try it for myself. From beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. Even ended up taking a nap during my salt experience. The new and spacious Salt Cavern now offers spa services! The staff are so friendly and very conscientious with cleanliness and Covid precautions. I had a facial wax and pedicure. Both were professionally done; competitive pricing and it was nice to have such a pleasant conversation. The entire staff is certified, and the salt rooms are designed to suit any clientele (kids, families, groups). Each room is just another entry into an oasis of indulgence. There is plenty of street parking out front or in the back (short walk around the corner). This is the best place to relax in Clifton, NJ. Whenever I am in the Nutley, Bloomfield, and Fairlawn, NJ area, I always stop by. The Salt Cavern Wellness Spa is conveniently located near my primary doctor's office at their Clifton, NJ location so I am very familiar with the area. I visit very often for my severe asthma and allergies and it greatly alleviates my sinus pressure. If you are looking for things to do to help you relax, breathe better, and sleep better, this is the place. I'm looking forward to getting the full spa wellness treatment next time I go. I went to the salt cavern with really bad seasonal allergy symptoms. Stuffy nose, headache, itchy throat. I woke up the next day feeling completely fine. I purchased 3 sessions with groupon, then purchased 3 more with one of the many specials The Salt Cavern offers. The room temperature is perfect....not too hot, not too cold. The level of salt in the air is palatable. The music lulls you into a state of euphoria and before you know it, your time is up. Easy online appointments. The first visit I didn't feel a difference in my sinuses until I was at home at night. By then, my sinuses were clear. Before I started my session I changed into some relaxing clothing. I highly recommend bringing a change of clothes (if you don't want salt to get on your regular clothes). Overall, it was a relaxing experience. read more
