I had a groupon so I tried it today. I was very relaxed until an obnoxious woman came in late to our session. I was in the 12 o'clock session today. She should of not been let in. She came 8 minutes late and kept ruffling in her bag for items. She got up twice and then moved her chair twice. After 10 minutes she left. She came back for the 1pm session which isn't fair. What Salt Cavern offers is an extremely relaxing experience in a room filled with salt on the floor and on the walls , relaxing music, and reclining chairs that go 180 degrees. This is great for stressed adults (you know who you are) and kids who can sit still and stay quiet for an hour. Be sure to book an appointment (since you're on their Yelp page, you can book through here too!) on their site. Hour sessions are $50, but you can purchase deals on Groupon for $25. It seems like a lot of people have because upon entering, we were asked if we had a deal. The service is friendly and approachable if you have any questions. It's a great time to fall asleep, relax, or meditate. Do I feel less stressed? Yes. I don't think any of my allergies (as they claim) have gone away, but it was still nice. Was a very cool relaxing experience. I am always stressed out and I do have bouts of allergies evey now and then so I tried this after I found it on Groupon. Nice room salted from head to toe. Relaxing chairs (Make sure to sit all the way back because my friend and I were confused at first how to get it to recline lmao). I went in with no shoes. Cool lighting. Music for the mood. Best place to unwind and relax! I love the time away from my phone, my emails or any communication. To just relax and enjoy the music is beyond peaceful. I was here as often as possible when I was pregnant and it was a beautiful way to relax and hang out with my baby and feel him moving or kicking about. When my son was about 6 weeks old, I brought him here when he caught a cold and it was the only thing we could do to help him. Months later, after enrolling him in daycare, this place was a MUST to help him when he was sick or keep him healthy. This place is one of my happy places! read more

The new and spacious Salt Cavern now offers spa services! The staff are so friendly and very conscientious with cleanliness and Covid precautions. I had a facial wax and pedicure. Both were professionally done; competitive pricing and it was nice to have such a pleasant conversation. The entire staff is certified, and the salt rooms are designed to suit any clientele (kids, families, groups). Each room is just another entry into an oasis of indulgence. There is plenty of street parking out front or in the back (short walk around the corner). The Salt Cavern Wellness Spa is conveniently located near my primary doctor's office at their Clifton, NJ location so I am very familiar with the area. I visit very often for my severe asthma and allergies and it greatly alleviates my sinus pressure. The first visit I didn't feel a difference in my sinuses until I was at home at night. By then, my sinuses were clear. Before I started my session I changed into some relaxing clothing.
