Lots of wood architecture live entertainment! There was a band playing when I arrived at around 1pm! The Rustic is known for their brunch special. I don't know how much the special was because a vendor took me out but one thing I can say for sure is, I loved the crispiness of the chicken! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! Hello everyone. I am really hoping that the owner and the manager and GM see's this. I came here on 2/18/2026 at 14:30 and I had the best waiter that I have seen in a pretty long time. Her name is Kenya. She was so sweet funny outgoing and genuinely made my experience amazing I really hope this restaurant recognizes her for all that she does and giving me a wonderful and amazing experience that I have not had in a long time. She is also a new and the personality that she had and how she approaches this job she will be an amazing waiter, and to be honest she really deserves a raise to the Chef, I got the wedge salad with chicken. The ambiance is very nice as the restaurant is large and spacious. The food was decent, average but a bit overpriced for the casual food. Underwhelming describes my experience. Burgers are decent, but there are better burgers in Houston. Saturday lunch has a very limited menu, not many choices to select from. Ice cream cake dessert was awesome. My biggest disappointment was the cocktail I ordered had no alcohol in it. I get tipsy very easily, but after downing my cocktail, I was Sunday School sober. I really think they scratched the alcohol on my drink. I can always feel a slight buzz after a drink, but this cocktail was no more than koolaid. I have been wanting to come here for over a year now. My husband and I moved to EaDo and don't get out much but finally did tonight along with his friend and boss. When I recommended The Rustic, his boss was great with it. We arrived and his boss asked if we could have service on a lower level. It wasn't busy AT AlL! They said no so we were ok with sitting above but apparently that set an entire vibe. We all ordered one drink and then they ordered another along with a shot. The bartender said shots weren't allowed . However the party next to us had three shots while we were there. I went up to order another drink before we left and the bartender said " we don't have anymore vodka". None of us were drunk. My husband's boss was willing to spend any amount of money. First time visiting The Rustic. I was so disappointed on how LONG the wait was for our food/drinks. Not only was our order messed up s, the way everything was handled was so unprofessional. We did have a large party but if two waiters were not able to attend our large order then they should have sent out more help. The manager on duty never came to check on us nor apologized for the inconvenience on the LONG the wait was or on why we kept getting the wrong orders. Then we had to wait another hour to get our bill fixed because the waiter failed to ask how to split the bill before taking our orders. It was definitely disappointing on how the service was handled. On the other hand the only good thing that came out of this visit was that the food was delicious.....or it could have been that we were all starving from the long wait. read more

Omg! The vibe & food all so good. We came just for light bites and nailed it. The servers were kind. There's sand on the ground where they have picnic tables and a stage...so neat! I'm not a big fan of homemade chips but these with the dip and without are so delish. Don't get me started with the meatballs. Y'all, they are a must try wow. We ordered three times the order (and not ashamed to say it since we don't live there) lol. Sweet & Salty-Savory for the win every time. I'm drooling thinking about it. Cool place to visit for a girl's night out "Fran club" by Francesca's event that featured CMT artist Marynn Taylor and jewelry by Francesca. I did not have any food while I was here. So I cannot speak to that, but some friends and I stopped in for a a couple of drinks. I had the hibiscus ranch water, and I did not like it. While the color was a very rich fuchsia color, it did not taste anything like hibiscus. In general, I love ranch water, and it is my go to drink, but this was incredibly strong and not in an enjoyable way. My group tried a couple of the cocktails listed, and we did really enjoy any of them. I think it was a balance of the ingredients and the alcohol use, I would highly suggest if you get a cocktail from the menu to suggest the brand of alcohol you would like. Other than that, the service was good, and when I took a look at the menu, they seem to have an excellent weekend brunch. I've been to the Rustic a few times since it's a nice place to meet up with people, grab some drinks and decent food. Overall, the food is pretty good. I do like thuê appetizers, especially their smoked dip duo, meatballs, and deviled eggs. They also have some unique items like the cactus fries. Their main entrees are alright. The salads are decent and the burgers are good, but I'm never really wowed by their entrees. I have tried their salmon before and it was alright. The pricing for the food is a bit on the pricy side for what it is, but their happy hour deals are pretty good. Another good deal is to go for their brunch since they have a good variety of food for around $20/person. The one thing that really gets me is the service is never great. I've been here many times and it's always a hit or miss with service, more times than not, it was a miss. Service can be pretty slow, even if there's not much of a crowd. I see a lot of the servers just hanging out along the wall and it's so hard to get their attention. I've had to get my own silverware and refill my water multiple times whenever I eat here. They also do a really bad job of splitting checks, so I would recommend paying with one card and figuring it out on your own. If you go for happy hour, I would double check your check as well. We had like 5 different items where they charged us the wrong price or charged full price because even though we ordered the food 30 minutes before happy hour ended, our service took his time, didn't put it in, and forgot about it until we reminded him again and by then it was past the happy hour pricing. I would also double check their drinks menu for the happy hour because they have it as one price, but it can come out as full price when they enter it in, so just make sure to check before you pay. Highly recommend their Saturday/Sunday brunch! There was so much food for the price point, and everything was delicious. The best part was someone in our group has a nut allergy, and they were kind enough to have someone come over to ask more details about the severity of the allergy. Everything tasted amazing, the customer service from our bartender was amazing with great conversation, and the food was delightful. Only thing I do not recommend is the spoon bread.
