I recently attended a private event at this location. The space is beautiful. The staff seemed to be ok even though they seemed a bit overwhelmed with the event. The food was fine. We had no say in what we were eating as it was a prearranged menu. The best thing we had were the lamb chops. The space was the highlight and I would love to hold an event in the space.

The ambiance at The Kennedy is absolutely beautiful and really sets the mood for a great meal. I had the steak and eggs for breakfast and it was delicious. Everything could have used just a touch more salt but overall it was very satisfying. The $1 mimosas were a bit of a mixed experience. At first they came very heavy on the juice with hardly any champagne which made them overly sweet. It seemed like our server might have been new and did not mention that the champagne and juice could be served separately. Thankfully another staff member checked on us and corrected it and I really appreciated that attention. Overall a wonderful spot for breakfast with great food and ambiance. Just be mindful to ask how you want your mimosa!

We came to The Kennedy for a girlfriend's birthday brunch. We had a fabulous time, the food was good, service was excellent and the ambiance is definitely very cute/girly/fun! We drank everything from lychee martinis, Hugo spritz, champagne and espresso martinis and the drinks we all loved! We ordered multiple mozzarella sticks and also tried the pancakes and berries as well as the banana French toast! It was a lot of food but all very flavorful! I would go back to try other menu items or their dinner. For my meal I had the Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict and the crab cakes had a lot of crab! The other girls ordered the Hangover Burger, Steak and Eggs and the Chilaquiles but had no complaints about their food. They brought the birthday girl a little dessert with a sparkler and we had a lovely time!

I came at 8:30 on a Saturday, there was a pianist, and that was really great. By 9:30, it turned into a night club vibe, and the waiters are hard to track down. Food was a long wait, drinks were a long wait. The tacos (appetizer) were ok, not much meat. I ordered the ribeye platter, and the taste was so-so. The sauce was amazing, I ended up chewing some peppercorns (or something??) and that was not pleasant. The drinks were good, relatively weak. Ambience- great. Food- meh. Drinks- meh.

Great atmosphere for brunch with a live DJ who was awesome! The food was ok, little underwhelming with limited options, the service was very slow and we had to ask multiple times for refills, additional condiments etc. Would go back but would try out the bar instead and just go for the live DJ and drinks

I'm in the middle of my dining experience & so far so good. I ordered the "soprano Negroni" it was delightful. The waygu tartar was amazing. 1st time with waygu & its was so fresh topped with a quail egg. The server was very nice. We chitchat about different things, mainly places we'd like to visit. The staff was very nice & accommodating. I'm waiting for the pianist. There's a live music set scheduled. If he isn't here in the next 5 minutes I'll get up & start singing myself. Anywho, I'll be back to tell yall about the lamb chops.

Visited for a reverse happy hour, and had a great evening! Love that they have a large cocktail selection for their HH. It's also super cute inside, great for date night or girls' outing. Service was okay -- the waiter was friendly, just a bit inattentive and slow to get to my table.

I have been here twice, once on Easter for brunch in a booth and once on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks at their bar. I want to start off by saying I hope the owner or manager reviews these because I cannot stress enough how amazing Thazerein S. (Bartender) was. I honestly think he is the best server/bartender I have ever ever ever come across. I tried calling to leave a compliment after the fact but couldn't reach anyone. Anyway, the steak and eggs are the only thing I have tried from there that I wouldn't recommend. Everything else has been absolutely phenomenal. The burrata ice cream is everything, the drinks are amazing, the food is good. For brunch there was a dj and for the dinner there was a live singer who also was a pianist, amazing vibes. The only reason this doesn't get a 5 star rating is because the pricing is a little much for what you get in my opinion- My pasta was $36-$38 which is just a lot for pasta that isn't authentic, the motzerella stick (singular) is $23-$24, just alittle cray to me; however I would recommend!

The Kennedy really is a nice place to have dinner. We dined on a Thursday night and there were not many people. We did have reservations however there was more than enough space for more customers. The Kennedy is valet parking only for the dinner hour but parking attendant stated that during the lunch hour some days it's self parking. When calling there is a $5 charge for valet before 3 and after 3 that charge is $10. The parking lot is very small. Major turn off is valet is right in front of the door so you're paying to valet and walk right up to the entrance. If you can find street parking and don't mind the walk that's an option as well. They do have a dress code here so if you're walking your dog and decide to dine, this is not the place for you. It's nicely decorated and put together, great ambiance and it was not too loud this night. Was able to have conversations without screaming across the table and the pianist most definitely kept us entertained while dining. He was very personable, came and introduced himself. Took requests and has an amazing voice. The restrooms were nice and clean. I liked that the stalls were individually roomed and the black toilets were a good addition to the uniqueness of the decor. On to the food and drinks. I ordered the Cucumber Hibiscus Smash. It was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed how refreshing and crisp this drink was. It was made just right. For my entree, after seeing the bisque, I chose the Kennedy Caesar Salad with Shrimp added. I also chose to add a side of the Jalapeño Blue Cheese dressing as I wanted to try it. This choice was most definitely the best for me. I'd come here again just for this salad. I also was eyeing the lobster bisque as my entree however a few people ordered and it didn't give me bisque vibes. It was more on the broth side with no cream in sight. That's not bisque to me, however there are some that may see this differently. Others in my dinner party made note that the mashed potatoes were on the sweet side so I was glad that I didn't go with that. Also important to note, don't come expecting normal size portions. This is more on the tapas side of dining and the portions versus price would leave most wondering why they are still hungry after spending about a hundred bucks on dinner. Choose wisely. I opted out of dessert as I was full from the salad I inhaled. Yes that salad was filling. Others opted out of dessert due to price. Our waitress Jackie was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Gave great advice on dishes to order and suggestions of changes that could be done. It's important to note, that there is a card acceptance fee charge for each guest(even if all on one check), auto gratuity(normal for our size party), they can only split the check per party three times, and they are a 21 and up restaurant. We opted to have one check. It was just easier for a part of 8. All in all, we had a great dining experience as we should for the amount of money spent.

Popped into The Kennedy on a Sunday afternoon. We had eaten earlier so the plan was to have a cocktail for sure and possibly a light bite. Brunch was still being served, we shared the Chilaquiles which were surprisingly delicious (they were like an upscale plate of nachos). Our cocktails did not disappoint and the Dj mixed with vibe of restaurant was a great start to Sunday Funday!

Met with friends for a little bit. In that short time I found: Parking is available with valet for $10 or on the streets (good luck). The entry is very minimalist yet classy looking, looking in the lights are dim and intimate. The music for this night was EDM, DJ Emilio kept the party going and I enjoyed every bit and in addition to the music, they had a portrait of my man, James Dean, it's then I knew I might have found another favorite cocktail bar. (Will need to return to fully determine that) I opted for the Aviation, a gin based cocktail. It was strong with a bite. Not necesssarily anything special about it as I've had at different places in the past. But they do have a vast variety to choose from but I wasn't trying to drink much as I had to drive. I did see they had a full martini menu and I will need to return to try them. The Kennedy is a mix of class, elegance and modern in a bar/restaurant environment. Dress code is enforced, so please don't show up in your shorts and flip flops.

Valet is available for $10. Got seated quickly. The decor is very nice. It had a nice and chill ambiance. Live music was really good and added to the vibe. Our waiter was very nice, informative, and helpful. The food came out very fast. We guessed it was most likely because they have a 2hour limit on tables. Everything we got to eat was really good. They drinks weren't very strong but they were good.

Came with my girls for a Galentine's dinner last week and we had a good time! It's def giving dress cute for nice date night vibes. Their menu had plenty of drink and food options. I got a spicy cucumber margarita (not pictured) that really hit the spot and had a spicy kick with each sip. I originally ordered the short ribs but they ran out so opted for the wagyu burger & fries which did not disappoint! The burger melted in my mouth and was so flavorful. I guess the trick to get the short ribs is to get there earlier and likely on a less busy day. The food took awhile to come out but our waiter was so apologetic and gracious. A con of this place is that it's valet only ($10 fee) and the valet/car pick up area is super tight and congested. So be prepared

There were 2 servers that were assisting with the table. Both very nice and got our orders correct. I had to split the bill in a weird way and they followed instructions well. The restaurant is always nice and clean including the restroom. The restaurant has a lunch option for 2 items for $25. What a steal! I got the wedge salad because I love the smothered blue cheese dressing. I got the mahi mahi tacos. Tacos were a good lighter choice. I didn't realize that it came with fries. All delicious options and so many options for even the pickiest eaters. Always a good choice for a nicer lunch.

Service: not great, we had a manager start off as our server but she was awkward in a "not socially aware" way (ex. she kept saying our server had to use the bathroom, even when our server came to the the table and looked so embarrassed; she also told me my non-alcoholic drink order would not taste good without knowing it's what I drink at home), rushed us (every time she said she would give us a moment she'd come RIGHT back to the table within seconds) Our actual server started off rocky as well, perhaps wasn't having a good day and she was visibly annoyed with the manager. She was short and blank with us until she realized we're very nice lol and by the end, her tone and energy had completely shifted for the better. The foreign object: about 2/3 of the way through the meal, I bit into a small piece of blue plastic. Did not know if it was in the fish or the mac and cheese, but I was devastated because I was almost finished eating but couldn't due to paranoia. Our server handled it swiftly and the manager came and let us know it was take off the bill and offered free dessert. Overall, not bad and the food was good enough to where I would go back and give them another try in the future.

I wasn't too impressed the first time, and this visit certainly confirmed my initial thoughts. For La Lucha's Happy Hour, you get a choice between 2 types of oysters ($1.50 each). These were great - do this on a weekday before 6pm and you should be able to grab a table without a reservation. Barely even after we started eating the oysters, the waitress was already asking if we wanted to order more, instead of allowing us to just enjoy our food without interruptions. The menus they gave at our table were inconsistent and had different menu items. I had to ask for clarification if the redfish was on the menu since it wasn't on two of the three menus given to us. So, quality control was a miss. Rest of the menu... is limited. Everything was so greasy, from the fried chicken, the redfish, and shrimp tacos. * Red fish with pecans - 6/10. The fish did not taste like it was seasoned with salt. It was well cooked, not dry at all, but it lacked any sort of seasoning aside from the butter and pecans on top. * Shrimp Tacos - 4/10. I think I prefer Taco Bell over this one. The shell was greasy, not crisp (felt like it was stale), and I was confused with the combination of American Cheese and shrimp. They also added hot sauce or spicy salsa in the tacos - so a warning if you can't handle spice (not mentioned on the menu). * Half Fried Chicken - 5/10. The chicken was moist. Been here once before and it was quite dry, so I'm glad this was cooked well. You get 2 thighs, a wing, and a drumstick (4pc). Again, there was a lack of any seasoning on the chicken itself & the exterior. Sadly, the sauce that we picked was not the best either - oyster mayo. It would've been nice to try the others, but the half order came with one sauce. The seasonal jam that was available was the peach jam. It went well with the biscuits (half order comes with 2 biscuits, any extra is $1.50). For my people who get cold in restaurants, I would recommend bringing a light jacket since they turn the A/C up.

She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. I will be back.

Had a 5:30pm resy, seated outside right away that Saturday evening--it was a full house 45 minutes later. You'd be a fool to skip the dilly bread--a complete fool! The rolls are pillowy and warm. I could eat the butter by the pint. The fingerlinging potato dish is also a must have...pretty small for $19 but tastes like heaven. Spicy! Zaddy was being a bit of a clutz that evening and knocked over my $20 mezcal cocktail, so what does he do? Orders me another one! (That's why he's "zaddy") ....kind of wish he hadn't...so wasn't worth the price tag. Skip it. The chicken dinner was definitely the winner--fresh, juicy breast, crispy skin...don't be cute, you won't finish it unless your party has at least 4 in it! The flies were ruthless! Very annoying! They were acting like the geekers that come bother you just outside your favorite fried chicken joint in south Dallas! Our waitress brought out a table fan so that made the experience a little more tolerable. The chocolate peanut butter pie tasted like a salt rock and the lemon chiffon pie had great flavor but not lemony enough for me. All in all this place is a bit pricey but truly a gem! Until next time, Nobie!

The fried chicken was well balanced, good brine and a crispy delicate batter. The bread with butter and jam was also quite decent. And prices were not too jaw breaking for an upscale brunch experience. Would definitely come back again!

Seems to be a martini place but I had a Manhattan and really enjoyed it, it was a strong drink but very tasty. The kampachi crudo was very light but also flavorful with fun textures from the toppings. The mussels on bread were savory and buttery, really liked the addition of the large beans. The pappardelle with the wide noodles was so fun and there was lots of parm which I liked, and the lemon zest was a nice touch. The squash was soft and I loved the ricotta. The campanelle was really unique with the crawfish and the spicy sauce, the noodle shape was so fun. The cheeseburger is tiny but mighty, super juicy and cheesy. The fries were perfectly crispy. Mango sorbet was packed full of mango flavor! Really enjoyed this spot, can't believe it took me so long to get here. Probably best to get a reservation. Small parking lot available.

I bring family and friends here all the time along with business partners. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston, Texas. You will experience the best food and the best service here every single time! Today was the first time I decided to get some food to go. Bradley was an absolute professional. While I was leaving, Johnny Carrabba came out and talked to me for a second. What a nice guy. Full of natural charisma. Reminds me of an old wise guy from casino or Goodfellas. We had a great conversation. I told him how my grandmother was born in Bryan Texas in 1927. He told me about his family that migrated there in 1905. He also mentioned his family had a store on Canal Street. I had no idea. An exceptional person, a legend in the restaurant industry here in Houston, Texas. It was great to meet you today Johnny. Thank you for your professionalism and hospitality and also thank you for serving some of the best food in Houston, Texas! Food: as you can see from all my pictures of the food is simply amazing. The best cornbread in the world. The best pot roast. The best sticky ribs. The best desserts. Everything here is phenomenal. Lunch dinner brunch you cannot go wrong. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Bradley and Johnny today I've been coming to this location for years and I will continue to come and support this restaurant.

Found this spot near our hotel with good food options and with another bar full and couldn't accommodate us. I made reservations here. Super chill spot to watch the soccer games. We watched the Argentina vs Cape Verde game here at a high top table in the bar area. This place had a chill World Cup vibes if you don't want a loud crowd like the previous bar we were at. We enjoyed our beers. With their sunset happy hour appz. So yummy and our waiter was great! Super friendly staff. Super accommodating. And the biscuits are delicious! With a planned night of drinking in front of us we ordered the cheeseburger eggrolls! Oh wow. So so good. Perfect thing to split. We also split the truffle fries! Another wow! And I ordered the burger beef sliders. They needed to be dressed up some more with condiments but otherwise they hit the spot to coat the stomach.

Back to the steak. I am very particular about my filets I prefer it medium Pittsburgh style. The chef here got it perfectly! It was so tender on the inside and crispy one outside, I devoured it. For sides I ordered truffle mash potato and Mac & cheese. I couldn't find a truffle in my mash tasted very regular. Besides that I enjoyed my meal. My husband loved his Ruben as it's his favorite here too.
