After you buy tickets, you can walk in to the stage bar area. There is around 40-70 people worth of seating around the stage with the two pianos in the middle. I can see it getting pretty packed and hard to see if you are located in the back. I would recommend trying to book a table in advance. I'd you aren't centered you miss out on one side versus the other. I would recommend this spot if you like music and just casually want to get drinks. And regardless of where you are sitting you will be able to hear the music. Very cute date night spot! It can get kinda loud inside, and I would recommend you brush up on your American classics from the 90's etc. Although I could recognize some of the songs, I didn't know them well enough to sing the lyrics - which is half the fun. It is a lot of fun. Otherwise, a waitress / waiter comes around to take your drink orders. It was kinda sporadic so try to get them when you can. The drink menu had all the typical cocktails, beers, etc.

We truly had the best time ! We went on a Thursday night- they open at 7pm and the show started around 8:15ish. We left around 11:30pm so we stayed a good while. Jon-Jon, Gary, DJ and Kawan were all amazing and all switched off after an hour of performing each. They were all very talented and were great with the crowd. It was free for us to enter (no cover) but I don't know if that's because it was a Thursday. Either way, we had a great time !

3.5 stars A super fun venue Service was excellent My only negative was, more songs and less silliness Been to dueling pianos before, they were great, lots of music and none of having people come on stage a wiggle boobs and butts More songs please Drinks were good, no food, but you can order and have it delivered

We had a great night at Pete's. I have been to Pete's a few times throughout the years and not much has changed. Grab a group (and some cash) and start making requests! Drinks were alright. Some better than others. But the fun ones are always, well, fun! You can have a drink in a cup, in a cooler cup, even a bathtub. If you're lucky, you will find a little rubber duck joining in. I would love to see them bringing the song choice closer to the modern late 30s-40s crowd as my group was a little left out sometimes. We will always be back!

I went to Pete's in downtown for a friend's birthday - it was the perfect place to celebrate! The bar was packed - so be sure to come early or make arrangements table reservation far in advance! We spent hours singing along with the crowd to the songs. The drinks are creative and there are 2 large bars on either side of the room. The piano players were very engaging and entertaining - there were many opportunities throughout the night for crowd involvement. I'd definitely recommend going for any birthday, bachelorette, or other special celebration.

This place gave me a night of wonderful entertainment and lively vibes. I Stopped in after a concert in the Toyota Center. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with the infectious energy of this iconic establishment, where music, laughter, and camaraderie converge to create an electrifying atmosphere unlike any other. The concept is simple yet brilliant: two pianos, two incredibly talented musicians, and a playlist that spans generations and genres. Whether you're into classic rock, pop hits, or sing-along anthems, the pianists at Pete's are masters at reading the crowd and delivering a show-stopping performance that will have you tapping your feet and belting out your favorite tunes all night long. The ambiance at Pete's is vibrant and inviting, with its lively decor, comfortable seating, and spacious dance floor beckoning you to let loose and make memories. Whether you're seated up close to the action at the piano or enjoying the view from afar, every seat in the house offers a front-row experience to the excitement unfolding before your eyes. But the magic of Pete's goes beyond the music; it's the sense of just hanging with old friends and the camaraderie that sets this place apart. Here, strangers become friends as they gather around the pianos, sharing laughs, toasts, and even the occasional dance. It's the kind of place where inhibitions melt away, and inhibitions are left at the door, making it the perfect destination for a memorable night out with friends or a lively celebration with colleagues. And let's not forget about the drinks! Pete's offers an extensive selection of cocktails, beers, and spirits to keep the party going all night long. Whether you're sipping on a classic martini or indulging in one of their signature drinks, each is expertly crafted and served with a smile by the friendly bartenders who keep the spirits flowing and the good times rolling. Pete's Dueling Piano Bar is more than just a nightlife destination; it's an experience. With its unbeatable entertainment, lively atmosphere, and welcoming vibe, it's the kind of place where every night feels like a celebration. So grab your friends, request your favorite song, and get ready for a night of music, laughter. Get your party on.

So. Much. Fun! Plan ahead and reserve your table. There's a fee now to do that. You must arrive by your stated time or they may give your table(s) away, FYI. Bring ID to get in at the door and they'll seat you. Waitress comes to you for drink order. Sit back and enjoy singing to the music OR put in a request with some money and they might play your song.

First time visiting this location and it was a blast just like their other locations! Chuy's catered the foot which was perfect and considering they had a full venue that night the servers were quick to bring drinks. Excellent service and fun times!

This place was super fun and the musicians are so talented. They play a constant medley of songs and do some fun activities with patrons throughout the night. The drinks here are so yummy and the shots are delicious as well. Drinks come out fast and the waiters/waitresses that go around the tables are so quick. Overall, a great experience, highly recommend.

Visited to celebrate a night out with siblings. I wish I would have known that you have to reserve a table ahead of time if you want a seat. There is also a cover charge. The music itself is wonderful. Quite entertaining. Drinks were good. Service was quick.

Went here for the first time by myself & I enjoyed myself. Came in on a Friday night as they opened at 7. As I walked in, I was greeted and I had my choice to sit on a stool at the perimeter of the stage area. All seats were great, Friday night admission fee was $13. The person who sat me as well as the waitress asked if I've ever been there and knew what to expect. Basically you can write down a song for them to sing, include a tip (the higher the better chance of them doing it). It's a perfect spot for a group, bdays, anniversaries or any kind of special occasion. They don't serve food here, but I did see people being in pizza. Waitresses always made sure to check on you and the drinks were strong and tasty. Show was awesome, I had a really good time, if you never been, do go. I just walked here from my hotel, being in downtown there's nearby parking garages to go to.

This is the perfect example of "everything's bigger in Texas". The venue and crowd were enormous, with two bars (one on each side), some tables and seating at the center in front of the stage (probably reserved for bigger parties, or you have to come super early), and standing room only otherwise. But bigger isn't always better. During the performance, there was more talking by the pianists than what was needed to put on a good show. Though some of it was entertaining, it put a pause on the music that sort of seemed carried away at times. And I'm all about the music, so this was kind of a turn off. But we still had a great time. The musicians were crazy energetic, dancing on the pianos, lots of commentary and teasing people to entertain the audience, and calling people onto stage (ie. a couple celebrating their anniversary, and even what looked like a bachelorette party made up of senior citizens!?!). But they kept the crowd engaged the entire time, laughing and singing along to the music throughout the night. The music was diverse, including songs like Hey Ya! by OutKast and a mashup of Livin on a Prayer/Summer of 69, which was pretty cool. Also the pianists played multiple instruments while on stage including drums and guitar, so the show here definitely includes a lot more than I've seen at other similar venues in Cali or Vegas. Pete's is a bit hard to find. Our uber driver dropped us off at the Palm restaurant, and we were lost and confused for a good minute. There's an elevator hidden between the buildings (around the corner from the Palm restaurant), and the venue entrance is on the third floor. There's a $12.99 cover on Saturday nights (they accept both cash and credit card). They also offer a wide range of specialty cocktails on their menu at the bar (fruity drinks like Mexican Candy and Strawberry Gush, coffee alcoholic beverages, and shots!), but the drinks are pretty weak overall. Service was standard. This place isn't perfect, but we had a fun time in this lively atmosphere regardless. It's hard not to, with dueling pianos (unless you hate music!?!).

What an amazing find in Downtown Houston. I came here with coworkers on a Wednesday evening and there was surprisingly a lot of people. Four performers were rotating instruments and sometimes they even played as a band, like for Bohemian Rhapsody, where somebody tipped a $20 with the song request. I was really impressed by the performers. They were funny, engaging, and very talented. I would definitely go again! We didn't have any food there but the drinks were reasonably priced.

Ambiance (3/5): Dan Electros is located in a residential neighborhood. They have a relatively small parking lot and it was completely full on a Wednesday. We ended up parking on the street a block or two away. Initially, I wasn't too impressed. Dan Electros has a gravel parking lot. Never a fan. It gets your car dirty and your shoes dirty. Dan Electros hosts a lot of live music and they have a small dance floor. If you're into live music, as I am, this may be the spot for you. They also have a pool table which is always a plus in my book. Service (4/5): I ordered a drink at the bar. I was greeted promptly and received my drink promptly. When I later went back to the bar to close out, I was able to do so without much effort. Solid experience overall. Food (N/A): I didn't have any food as I had dinner prior, but I don't think they have food anyway. I'm not 100% though. Drinks (4/5): For a dive bar, Dan Electros has a cool menu with some interesting cocktails and a good beer list. Even at a dive bar, it's nice when you can order more than just beers and simple cocktails. With that said, I had a beer. When in Rome.

Parking kind of sucks here so I would suggest coming in early and if you find something in the parking lot or by the mechanic shop, back your car in because people will likely park behind you and it'll be pretty tight getting out later.
