When into TRS this Sunday morning shortly after opening store was busy as always but still excellent service and attention to all customers. Parker helped me with the large selection of Hoka they have in stock and multiple color options. The value being a member of the loyalty program well worth if you don't shop often at TRS. Stopped in to look for some new sneakers. I wanted to continue with the line of New Balance sneakers that I've been wearing - as they offer them in 2E sizes (double wide). I had forgotten if I was wearing an 11.5 or some something else. The associate was able to quickly check my purchase history and verify my shoe size - which was cool! I bought a new pair of New Balance Fresh Foam X 860 v14 sneakers in black. They fit and feel great! Service was good! Paid with Apple Pay! #TheRunningStore

My daughter is in Hawaii and needs a new pair of inserts for a marathon. Brady and Brenden were able to look up her purchase from a few years ago and match the inserts exactly. Additionally I needed a new pair of shoes for walking and cross fit and they hooked me up with a sweet pair of New Balance. Finally I bought the yearly plan for $30 and saved $31 on my purchase from my 15% discount.

My shoes that I was unable to return or exchange due to their final sale that I did not know that I purchase !!!

Buyers beware !!! Take it from me , it's already bad enough they offer no refunds .. store credit or exchange only. Then to pass on their loss to you unaware !! A hard lesson to learn, and it's really unfair that they didn't tell me upfront, that one of pairs of tennis was a final sale !! If an item is final sale, it should be made very clear before you buy it--especially when the salesperson is the one recommending the product. I can almost guarantee, my purchase was a previous return exchange .. that's the reason for the final sale !!! It almost feels like they intentionally left that out so you want question it. HOKA,$145 regular to sale price of $115 Food for thought..sometimes being too friendly in a store can work against you because you assume the salesperson has your best interest at heart. At the very least, they should a final sale item before completing the sale. It's really frustrating when the salesperson gives you completely different information than what was actually on the receipt. They should tell you upfront if a shoe is a final sale, especially if it is coming from the back and not marked. It's one thing if you overlooked a sign or something, but if they didn't tell you, that's on them and should eat the coast and honor the exchange or store credit policy . Please let me know if you recently returned these shoes!!

Nothing like getting greeted by an employee who has assisted me in the past. Parker remembered me from my previous visits, and as always, received the best customer service. I also like stopping by to check on new merchandise, specifically on my birthday month due to its perks to its pro-members. Besides the 15% off, I also received my gift towards a purchase of my new Oofos recovery shoes. Always a great experience:)

During this visit, however, I was directed to the front instead. When I arrived at the front, the signage pointed toward Customer Service, so I waited there for a short while. I noticed several employees performing various tasks, including two at the registers. After waiting, I asked one of the cashiers for clarification. A female associate informed me that all Amazon returns now go through the main line. I mentioned that the signage was somewhat misleading, as it still indicated Customer Service, but her response was curt--she suggested I "take it up with Corporate" and explained they had several call-outs that day. While I understand staffing challenges can occur, I was taken aback by the tone and lack of professionalism in the response. I wanted to bring this to your attention so the situation could be reviewed, as it may reflect an opportunity for better communication and customer service training. Especially for the Vera Wang collection. Through the years as with many, many companies, quality ran through the gauntlet. It is no more! Plastic shoes, thin, scratchy materials. Sometimes if I go I can find a quality item, but I have to hunt and dig, like my big heavy Madden Girl coat for winter. I love it. The big stopper for me was getting a phone call yesterday from a thick, thick accent from I believe the Philippines. The man was asking for me and insisted to speak to me, which I had told him several times it was me and asked what this was about. Then he gives me information that I had to think and decipher that I had a balance on my card. yes, I know. I was on vacation out of the country for 10 days. Payment due in 8th. I have never, ever received a call from Kohl's! EVER! I do always pay in full within a week or 2. Nope this time I was late. I told him I thought it was a scam and he started to say You want to pay now? I say No. He raises his voice and insists several times, You pay bill! With that I hung up thinking, yes it was a scam. I git on the website & found yes I was late by 5 days! 5 days!!!! His amount was correct. So now, I paid and canceled my account! Kohl's you outsourced your company and the standards I used to purchase a whole lot of products through the years! Good bye- Good riddance!! There are still quality stores with quality clothes that the staff still cares and attends to the clientele. You may not care now but enough people will. Many stores have gone belly up, and you are at risk having others in other countries have our private information access and to have them make aggressive threatening phone calls to great clients, well sucks for you CEO!

Some of you may agree or disagree but again this is based on what I've seen and experienced ! 1. Taking advantage of non-English speakers Im not the only one who sees this in many employees. I've noticed these two employees are INCREDIBLY pushy on non-English speaking people/people who have a limited vocabulary. They will not stop pestering them until they give in. It irritates me in a way since I'm myself am Hispanic/Latino. 2. The line can take forever I found a super cute dress today I loved. All of the employees were signing up people for the credit card and I feel like there should be two or one registers or even a credit card sign up desk because you have alot of people in line waiting and these sign ups take so long. The people in front and behind me were very irritated cause 10 minutes have passed by and we haven't moved a bit.. I had to put the dress back cause I just didn't feel like the wait was worth it. 3. A change in staff attitude I noticed (not all) but many of the employees here are very rude and condescending. Such as attitude and rolling of the eyes at customers (they haven't done anything to provoked them like being mean first or messy) which throws me off That's all honestly I come to this place VERY often almost everyday lol so I can definitely see a change and the pace of the store is becoming slower and slower.
