This is my second time at this restaurant. It's well decorated inside and is very welcoming. The food was good and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The owner can be seen walking around and interacting with customers which is always nice. The biggest drawback to this place is their lack of a drink menu. The first time I visited was shortly after they opened so I gave them a pass on not having one. It's been nearly a year later and they still don't have one. The biggest issue with this is that there is a lack of clarity on pricing. You don't know how much that drink costs until you get your bill unless you ask your waitress the prices for each drink. We've been here several times and have enjoyed everything. The pretzels whether it is the giant pretzel or the Humpty Dumpty pretzels (pretzel pieces) served with queso are always a good choice. The honey old bay wings and Thai chili wings are also excellent options. For entrees, the pizza is always good and so are the burgers. In addition to the food, it has a great atmosphere. Trying out the new restaurant in town. Ordered the giant pretzel, pizza fries, burger, mozzarella sticks and salad bowl. I must say, everything was delicious. My burger was cooked perfect, exactly like I requested med-rare and the chips were fresh and crispy. Pretzel was awesome with the queso cheese dip. Couldn't stop eating it. The pizza had a nice thin brick oven crust, not over sauced, and the meats were fresh, was not greasy! The cheesesteak had generous amount of meat on it, and again not greasy! I Will eat in house next visit, I live to far for carryout , arrived home with cold food, had to heat up in air fryer, but it was still very good. read more

I've been coming to this place now for a couple of months and I must say I'm glad I found it! I've never been disappointed. Every food item that I have tried, from the pizza to the chicken quesadilla to the buffalo chicken wrap, is delicious! Especially the tots loaded with crab dip! And the pretzel bites with the different dip options! The ambience is great, lots of tv's to watch the games, and the music is not too loud. The beer options are on point too. Love this place! I'll start with the staff. I personally know a lot of the employees and have to say they are some of the hardest working people I know. My prior work in the industry I understand the many hats you just wear as a server and bartender. Great job to all. You have to love the management here. Great people and care fully about the local crowd and welcome whole heartedly first time customers. They have dedicated more than 100% to make the entire business a great experience. BTW Try the Stromboli! They have a very unique set up in the atrium area to expand their indoor dining, moving what was the outside dining area to a public inside location. The carry out and delivery helped sustain them through shutdown #1 and I hope it gets them through the next phase of the new regulations. Visiting from Charlotte, NC and was thrilled to have lunch here with my longtime Pasadena friends. They had raved about it and I can see why. We had burger specials and Maryland crab soup. Everything was very high quality, nicely presented and the home made chips were to die for. I noted that the soup had lump crabmeat and lots of it. Not the normal shredded crab. The server was friendly, kind and efficient. Her name was Alissa. I am here for a few more days and will be coming back for the Old Bay chicken wings. Cannot wait! Ordered their Tuesday burger specials with fries and a cheese pizza. The burgers are huge -- 2 meals for me. The cheese pizza was so good - New York style with very thin and tasty crust, fresh sauce and the cheese was not greasy. Even reheated the pizza was amazing. Why not 5 stars? Got carry out. The good: my wife got the triple sliders; cheeseburger was good, meatball was good, and shrimp salad was even ok. Pretzel bites were really good. The bad: I ordered an Italian cold cut. It was made very poorly and it was warm!! The cheese was almost melted. The meat was all on one side and it was pretty soggy. I had mine with onion rings, which were good but were boxed with the cold cut. Probably why it was warm. The cold cut was inedible and I had to throw it out. The ugly: the tomatoes. Wow, they were one stage from rotten and one had the green core in the middle. Absolutely disgusting. This was my second time here; we ate in last time and I liked my cheesesteak but she didn't like the crab cakes. I guess it was my turn. Not sure if we'll come back. read more

Visited yesterday on our way to an event in the area. We had never heard of the place but the name is catchy and reviews were good, so we stopped. The server was fantastic and attentive. We made a weird request asking to split and item in two. The manager came over explaining why they could not do it for cooking reasons but offered a fantastic compromise that kept us the customer happy and the quality of food at their standards. The food was better than described in the reviews. We did a sampling of appetizers including BBQ wings, crabby tots, bacon & cheese tots and cheese curds. Our daughter ordered a slice of cheese pizza. Not a single item disappointed. We cannot wait to go back. I am particularly excited to try their Sunday brunch. read more

We gave this place a try last night and our service was amazing, our waitress was very vested in our enjoyment, she made recommendations, refilled drinks and made conversation. Our food was not bad, but it was also not special or spectacular. We had crab tots that were just basic, not super hot and not super crispy....needed more Old Bay. Our Honey Old Bay Wings were the best out all that we ordered and they too needed more Old Bay. Nice and crispy though - solid wings. We shared the cheese steak and for $12 I was expecting something more. It was "fine" just don't outstanding. Not a great roll (like Pizza1978's sub roll) and the meat was again basic. What a fun place! What a great find !! We went there for the first time not knowing what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. It happened to be taco Thursday so of course I got tacos and they were delicious. My friend had the linguine Alfredo and said the sauce was amazing. It was our first time there and it was our waitresses first night working there... She was so lovely. There was another server who would come over to help her and make sure everything was in order which of course it was. I was impressed that they didn't just leave her on her own, just in case she did need help. We will be back. read more

I've been going to the rumor meal for around a year now with my friends and family. The food is great the price is cheap and the employees are very polite. The manager is a good price and everyone in the area whose been there love it. While yes its busy at times it's worth it. Also the service time is good even at its slowest it was completely reasonable and worth it for the food. So in the most basic form I can't praise it enough. read more

Until today, I really liked this place. The pizza I picked up was just like when you have it for breakfast the next day. Cold, soggy, burnt (I like burnt though). I've been reading many good reviews for quite sometime and decided to order my family a special dinner today. I ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni., half mushroom, 24 buffalo wings extra crispy, and a giant cheesesteak sub, onions, LTM. When I got home, I was quite disappointed in the food since not one of the food items was made to my request and was not very good at all. Sub had pickle juice on it for some reason although I didn't ask for any pickles, pizza had only cheese on 1 side and both toppings were all on one side with very sloppy appearance, and crust was thin, soggy and black, wings were not fried or crispy at all! Everything was also too salty! Not a good first experience, won't be going back. Wasn't worth $49 bucks and food was not what I expected based on reviews. read more

A welcome addition to local dining! The owners did a nice job of updating and remodeling! Two of us had the Cheese Steak - it was so much better than I had expected - that's a compliment!! They offer lots of options for this sandwich. including three choices of cheese, so it's a little non-traditional! My husband had the Italian cold cut sandwich - the sandwiches came with house made chips. Everything was good, really good! One of the owners waited on us - very friendly, lives close by. Went there on Wednesday. We gave it a 5 star for the inside of restaurant was nice. The mural was nice along with 5 TVs airing Sports Channels only.. The food well I gave it a 3 Star. Not too impressed with the pricing for the size of food. The chips were not a hit with the family or myself. Between the 3 and 5 Stars.. hence 4 Stars. Originally We were looking for pizza for family but for $12.50 then added each topping for $1.50 .. which we wanted supreme... would be over $25 We all agreed to stick with 1978 NY Pizza which are much more reasonable fixed price for various different type of pizza and their steak sandwiches are more enormous than "giant" steak sandwich which The Rumor Meal served. Sadly my family do not want to return there which is fine with me. Only suggestion is go for appetizers and drinks for they have a nice bar set up for lunch or a day after going to Downs Memorial Park. read more

My girlfriend and i attempted to eat here for dinner one night last week, we were seated immediately and that is the end of the positive experience. We sat for close to 10 minutes and not a single person came to the table. Meanwhile a manger came to speak to the table next to us and ask how everything was, chatted for a few then looked my gf in the eye and continued to walk into the back of the restaurant (as our menus still sat on the table). Food is good and I can't stay away from Orange Crushes. Been going there since they opened and it has only gotten better. Highly recommend.
