This is the second time I had them arrange a bouquet for me, and the second time I have been disappointed. I go there a lot, and usually love what I get, but the previous time, my flowers died the very next day (yes I took good care of them). This time I ordered a bouquet for $40, and although it's pretty, it was very small, almost half the size of the $35 pre done bouquets (which is why I ordered a $40 one- I wanted one slightly bigger). My boyfriend had flowers delivered to my work on my birthday and I was blown away (and slightly embarrassed because they were so grand). Definitely caused quite the spectacle in my office. The flowers were fresh--most of them hadn't even opened yet--and the arrangement was clearly meant for me. Finally got it to render corrected on internet Explorer after activating Flash in settings. I've been getting floral bouquets monthly, for my personal enjoyment, from Ruffly Rose. I have to tell you, I'm so excited to see what they surprise me with each time. They have really paid attention to my likes and dislikes, and always present something unique and special. They use locally grown flowers whenever possible, and really cater to my herb loving, crazy, but still classic aesthetic. I've even had a rose and carnation arrangement that I loved, and I thought I didn't care much for Rose's and carnations. It goes to show, with the right design, all of the flowers are special. I chose this place based on the Yelp reviews so I was initially nervous. I was needing to order place an order for my boss to send flowers to his wife. I had very litttle information other than a "springy and sunny" boquet. This was for their anniversary. The owner walked me through the process over the phone and was very patient with me. I can't even express how beautiful the flowers that I ordered from Ruffly Rose were for my mother. She lost her brother in law as well as a very close friend and sprained her ankle all in one week. Had a great experience with the Ruffly Rose. I've now been there twice. The first time I went to the ruffly rose it was for a friends birthday and Emily (the owner) made up the best bouquet! It was funky and fun and exactly within my price range. Which reminds me that my budget was pretty low and it was still a large and beautiful bouquet. The second time I went in was on mother's day to get a bouquet for my aunt and it was a great smaller bouquet. I with there had been a little more substance, but as always it was a fun bunch of flowers. My mother wanted a fall flower arrangement, bright and colorful and that is exactly what we got. The Ruffly Rose delivered a gorgeous basket arrangement that was a perfect size for the large church. My family was very satisfied with the flowers. Placing the order was easy and the delivery was on time. Since we had to have the delivery take place 24 hours before the service, the Ruffly Rose even offered to replace any flowers that wilted overnight. I would love to give The Ruffly Rose a much higher rating if possible. I ordered my niece flowers to congratulate her on graduating from DU. I'm in California and couldn't make it out so I wanted something special. They delivered a lovely arrangement to the apartment leasing office at Alexan City Center Apartments. They were signed for on Saturday but never delivered to my niece. The apartment manager called Emily on Tuesday saying that my niece didn't live there, which was incorrect, and that the flowers were dying. When I called the manager, Tiffany, to ask what happened she was rude and hung up on me. She also called Emily and told her off. After speaking with Emily, She went out of her way to create another lovely arrangement which she didn't have to do having fulfilled the order and delivering on time to the correct address. She personally worked with my niece to get them to her bypassing the apartment complex. I received an arrangement after the passing of a loved one. Although I didn't pay for the arrangement, I'm certain it wasn't cheap. When you receive a poor arrangement you're faced with a conundrum: do you speak-up and tell the giver and perhaps hurt their feelings and exhibit a lack of appreciation for their gesture? Do you call the florist and complain? Keep quiet? No, I decided to Yelp about it. This floral rose arrangement was stuffed into glass globe vase that was completely out of proportion to the flowers. To show their neglect, the florist didn't even remove the price tag from the bottom of the vase. Many of the stems were cut so short they barely touched the water, or were too long. There was so much filler for the vase most of the arrangement suffered a quick death or faded fast. We were able to salvage some of the roses by trimming them to a reasonable length and placing them into a proper vase. Now, this original over-blown arrangement has been whittled to a few roses that sit nicely in a mason jar on my table. The gesture was much appreciated, but now I'm faced with the dilemma of telling the giver of my experience. I guess that is what Yelp is for. read more
