Ah what a lovely little flower shop. The reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is when I went in on a Saturday their shop was empty and the flowers were of lower quality. The sweet girl there did tell me they get their shipments on Sunday's. Sunday's and Monday's are the days to come. I wish I wouldve gotten the name of the girl who helped me. I loved her honesty and willingness to help. I told her my budget was $25. I've gone to other shops were you tell them your budget and they go way over and make you feel bad for asking them to take out flowers. She was really sweet and taught me how to care for the flowers like when to spot rotting / dying flowers. Told me the approximate life span of the flowers. How technically on a weekly basis you could back and replace some of the flowers. Which finally made sense to me. I'm a sucker and keep allll the flowers. The rotten flowers kill the happy flowers. Now I feel like I'm equipped to take care fresh flowers. No fault of hers, I didn't love the look of bouquet. Truly it was due to the lack of variety since the shop was picked over. The rest of the staff was really nice and sweet. The place is nothing special. It reminds me of the 90s. Who cares tho? What they're good at is delivering flowers and good service. I had ordered flowers for delivery yesterday 12/22/22 through Teleflora. Yesterday I received an email notification the delivery had been made. However the recipient did not receive them even though she checked her apt bldg office as well as the mailroom. I phoned Teleflora immediately upon hearing this. Teleflora contacted the florist (Bonnie Brae) only to determine the delivery had in fact NOT been made. They claimed inclement weather prevented delivery although it was clear, sunny but very cold & had snowed 2-4" the night before. This delay would have been acceptable had Bonnie Brae bothered to pick up their phone to call me to explain the delay. But no. Instead they chose to lie about the delivery being made and set off anxiety/concern over "lost" flowers along with a series of unnecessary phone calls. What happened to that thing called customer service? Today the delivery was made (thank you for that). However the arrangement delivered looks little like the arrangement I chose on Teleflora's website. Please judge for yourself. As a child of a former florist owner I get there can be substitute flowers, etc., however given the fact they lied about the actual delivery, they could have at least added additional flowers (let alone fresh/unopened roses) to the arrangement to make up for their exceedingly poor customer service. Because of this I could never and would not ever recommend using this florist under any circumstance. read more

I got both my church ceremony and wedding ceremony bouquets from the Bonnie Brae Flowers and could not be more happy about it. Their staff were all really nice and patient. The lady I worked with was very detailed. She tried to make sure my bouquet match my wedding color theme and she was so helpful with picking out specific flowers. She suggested me to have a small/medium-sized bouquet instead of a large so it wouldn't overwhelm my petite body frame. On our wedding day the bouquet came with its own vase to keep the flowers fresh and all corsages were carefully wrapped. I received a ton of compliments on my bouquet during the wedding. In the 30 minutes I was there the florist envisioned exactly what I wanted and more!!!!! My flowers were STUNNING!!! I was beyond impressed with what I was given for my wedding bridal bouquet and 2 large arrangements... the flowers were so fresh which is what I needed since we had a wedding in the mountains I picked them up 2 days early... I gave them a color scheme of purples and greens and they ran miles with it!!! 3-stars=A-OK! I came here looking for plants to give as an Easter gift. There was not a good selection. I think this place is better for pre-ordered flowers. The shop itself had very outdated flower gifts/pots/vases. There was nothing modern/new-looking about their existing arrangements. There is limited parking space. I thought there'd be a bunch of cool Easter-related flower arrangements ready to buy but I didn't see any at all. They deliver world-wide. They have "deals-of-the-day" online and today's shows a $75 bouquet (as is) but the picture doesn't show the entire bouquet. They also sell chocolates and candles. read more

Horrible customer service! and a rip off. I get times are hard but ridiculous amount to charge for Helium. Very very disappointed on how they handled this situation. I purchased flowers to be delivered and wanted a specific Balloon choice which they didn't have. Totally understandable and asked the kind lady when ordering if I brought my own balloons can they add them. She said absolutely. I asked how much to inflate and or should I have them inflated. She said it doesn't matter. You can bring them inflated or not. We will not charge you to inflate them. Bonnie Brae charges $5.50 if you order their Mylar balloons to a floral order. In case anyone didn't know, if you purchase balloons from Party City they do not charge to inflate them. I get to the floral shop this morning to drop off the balloons and Cindy says, we have to charge you to inflate the balloons. I have a total of 6 balloons (1 - 34", 1 - 28", 4 - 17") I said okay how much per balloon, she said $ 5 per balloon. I am upset now because I had asked the day before and was told something different. I would have purchased the balloons inflated. I feel a couple of things right now could have been done differently. If the previous gal did not know about the cost for using the helium than it surely was passed to the new gal who was charging me. They open up at 8:30 am and I didn't arrive until 9:30 AM so someone should have called me prior. That way the customer is informed BEFORE they get there. So it is their choice if they want to stop and have them inflated before they arrive or purchase their own helium tank for $40 and fill them up themselves or just pay the amount for Bonnie Brae to inflate them. I was charged originally $54.41 to inflate 6 balloons, Seriously, this is almost more than what I purchased the flowers for and definitely more than what I purchased the balloons for. I did call her back and asked why she charged me $50 because it should have been only $30 for 6 balloons at $5 per balloon. She then said well there were 2 larger balloons and they charge double for those. They did overcharge me and I was given $14 back so looks like the total for the helium in 6 balloons were $40.41. So my flowers I purchased to have delivered costs me. $82.95 flowers and delivery $40.41 for Helium $34.00 for Balloons $157.36 total The flower arrangement was mediocre. Nothing extravagant and some of the flowers looked wilted :( sad, very sad read more

I work at a school and asked for a small donation of wounded flowers for my students art project and they were so helpful, kind, and willing to help. I had called 5 other florists and no one was willing to help me except for them. Even the wounded flowers we were donated were exceptionally beautiful and smelled so fresh. I ordered one dozen long stemmed roses to be delivered to my brother and sister in law in Denver. The flowers were delivered by 9:30 the next morning, and they were absolutely gorgeous! I could have purchased flowers from an online florist and paid a bit less, but it was well worth it knowing my flowers were arranged by someone who actually had pride in their craft.
