I've tried the milk, tea, and lemonade bases for the boba tea and honestly I'm not impressed. I don't mind how inauthentic they are but the flavors are so imperceptibly week. When you have the milk tea it taste like straight milk, same with the other bases but I don't mind having lemonade with a hint of mango, the milk tea just taste like sugary milk. The food was very expensive and when it came out it was the size of a small side salad I said that's all I get for $15 the girl says yep and sets it down and walks away. My friends came out and it was huge I just don't get it why the difference in size taste was great. The I got a slice of lemon pie it also had great flavor until I got a hair on the second bite. But the reason why I did not give a 5-star review is when I ordered a Mother's Day bundle online at least a week before the holiday, my order was not ready when I came to pick it up. I wouldn't have minded this whatsoever because they packed my order immediately, but two other employees started rudely talking about patrons coming to pick up the orders early and expecting them to be ready. After they referred to me in this matter, I politely took my items and left. I did not come early for my order and instead came in between the pickup time that I had scheduled online. So I am a big fan of a cupcake brand (that rhymes with crinkles) but the cupcakes from The Ruffled Cup are SO much better. The cupcakes are moist, the frosting delicious, and the choices of flavors are amazing! I wish I lived in Amarillo so I could eat the cupcakes everyday. They have an array of other desserts that I would love to try as well. Their store is beautifully done, and would be perfect for a baby shower or kids party. We came here on our great quest for sugar cookies to soothe our sweet tooth. We were met with friendly faces and a wide selection of about every sweet treat one could want. We picked up two boxes of sugar cookies, a dozen each. The cookies were amazing, if not overly sweet. The thing that struck me as outrages was the price. We paid $48 for two dozen sugar cookies. Although I don't mind paying $2 for one cookie, when buying in large quantities I don't think $2 is justifiable. Cookies were good, but were not liquid gold. They make specific cupcake flavors each day of the week, in addition to new creations, that never disappoint. My absolute favorite cupcakes are the ones with cheesecake baked into the center (turtle cheesecake, and black bottom.) The buttercream frosting is absolutely amazing! Poor service I made a order online and paid for the order. I went to pick up order 20 minutes later I pulled up for curbside and called the number taped on the business front door. It took them 20 minutes to come to my car and tell me that the items I ordered on their website could not be made because it was almost time to close. I'm going to call it the GCCB from here on out. My mom used to make GCCBs when I was a kid. As soon as I saw that luscious brown sponge square with the the coconut paste of heaven on top, memories of my childhood flooded my mind. A nostalgic grin beamed across my face. I almost didn't get the GCCB. I was being rung up for the 6 cupcakes and the 2 cheesecake cannolis, when I noticed it. The cashier could have said "all right sir you're all set." But fate intervened and she said "oh wait is there something else you wanted?" It was as if God came down to bestow a divine surprise. I said "yes ma'am. I would like that GCCB." My mouth watered and my hand trembled as I brought the treat to the minivan. I sat in the back with my daughter as my wife drove to TJ MAX. When she parked, I reached for the GCCB. My exhilaration was at its peak. I took a bite. Tears filled my eyes. My tastebuds burst with gratitude. My daughter asked for a bite. I said no. Last month we decided on ruffled cup to handle our wedding order. Unfortunately we had to cancel our order last night due to the sheer unprofessionalism of the owners and staff. Long story short, we had an issue with an employee there. My fiancé called and asked that she not be the person delivering our order to the wedding venue if at all possible. They reassured him saying this would not be the case and they had it handled. The next day I got a message from this exact employee cussing me out for going to her boss and threatening to ruin my wedding in other ways. It occurred to me that the owner decided that it would be a good idea to disclose not only details about my fiancé's request but also our names thus opening us up for harassment by the employee in question. I was shocked by the lack of discretion that was used when handling this issue so I decided to ask the owner what could be done to cancel my order. The owner started coming up with "solutions" to this issue, for example: Lie to the employee, tell her we cancelled our order, then go ahead and make it anyway. Through the course of our discussion, the owner decided it would be appropriate to disclose details regarding this employees personal history and legal background. Clearly the owners do not understand how to discretely handle any issues that may arise nor how to properly protect their customers and employees privacy. read more

They had some salted chocolate truffle thing that was delicious! The frosting on their cupcakes is greasy. I don't know what they use in the frosting but the chocolate frosting wasn't mixed all the way through on a cup cake one and it the white chunk in it tasted like crisco not butter. Today I came to have a tasting of their menu, so I got: - salted caramel banana pudding, - cannoli, - macaron, - shortbread cookie (flower-like shape). I had most of their cupcakes before - they are all great and highly recommendable. So banana pudding was good, lots of caramel and whipped cream. Good flavor and taste. Cannoli was super dry and the cream inside didn't add any flavor. Too thick dough, not crispy enough. Felt like a rolled thick tortilla. Macaron was taller than usual, too dry and way too crunchy. Filled with a frosting, not with cream as it's supposed to be (frosting dried out and added dryness to it). Needs lots of improvement. Finally the daisy-looking shortbread cookie was really good! Still soft inside, yet perfectly baked, icing on top was fresh and really added good notes to it. To sum my experience, I would definitely return for their signature cupcakes and my new favorite - shortbread cookies. read more

We get to the window and look at the menu hanging on the window. A lady finally comes to the window and tells us we can't order there as it will take too long. I say this because after coming from Austin, Texas where one of the local favorites is a place called, Hey, Cupcake!, you get twice the size of the cupcake that the Ruffled Cup offers for the same price.
