I went into The Ritz Diner looking forward to having Steve's cooking , but found out he no longer cooks there. I was told that he suddenly walked out after being yelled at by the owner and that is nothing new about the owner yelling at his employees. I will never go back there. Very nice staff gave us fantastic service and the cook made us a really nice breakfast. Portion sizes are just right and reflect the pricing which is reasonable. Had lunch there today. Ordered a senior ham cheese and mushroom omelette. Came with hash browns and English muffin. Was a nice sized omelette with plenty of filling and cheese. Service was quick and efficient and friendly as well. This is as american diner as it gets. Do yourself a favor and stop going to the big restaurant chains and go to the mom and pop dinners. Better service, better food and nicer friendlier atmosphere. Usually less expensive also. read more

Limited menu, friendly service ( although she got out order wrong), great pancakes. The only thing I ordered was pancakes without butter. I got pancakes with 4 tablespoons of butter. I hate to send food back, so I ate around the fat. The tea was warm, but not hot. No fruit or poached eggs on menu. So happy we stopped in for Father's Day brunch! The food was great! Between the family we tried hash browns, eggs, toast, pancakes, french toast, bacon, and ham. They also let us try their gravy. Nice diversion away from the monotony of an I-5 road trip. They obviously specialize in breakfast. The folks who offered their table to us (small place, limited seating) said their biscuits and gravy and O'Brien-style potatoes are second to none. But we were on a quest or for lunch, and the Reuben sandwich did not disappoint. This place is like traveling back to the good ole days where diner where plentiful and American food was the norm. You can get a variety of items here that one would expect at a diner, all normal, diner quality. The eggs are greasy and the hashbrowns are crisp. There are probably enough seats to fit 7 sets of people - as well as some bar stools. The couple that runs this place is the nicest and the most inviting. I went in to the restaurant I walked around the corner. There was a guy, naked naked could barely move. It broke my heart. I went around the other corner. There's another guy his half pants were down. I had my two grandchildren with me was very uncomfortable when I messaged it to the lady, she didn't seem to care, I ordered message they told me it be 15 minute wait a walk to get across the street came back. It was still 35 minutes. No big deal. I asked for extra gravy on three of my dishes. I didn't get any of it which I paid, for it was very very dry. The bread was burnt And top it off. My eggs had a dark hair and the eggs eggs were over done when I came back I didn't think I was rude and some guy was very rude to me at the door and asked me to leave because I said it for myself I paid over $50 for food and gave a $20 tip, this is even funnier so that's it so then we came back the following day just to see I didn't. My boyfriend did and we are the exact same thing. Thanks for over done the homeless is outside front. The atmosphere was terrible. Hashbrowns were overdone we asked for extra gravy on the biscuits and gravy we didn't get it and the steak and we paid for it and when I mentioned it the girl did not seem to care I would not recommend this place and I have to keep doing it. There is no waiting room inside the restaurant (it is very small, with about 6 booths and a bar for 7 or so) so we had to wait outside until a table left.
