So glad this place popped up in our community, my kids love it here and will play for hours. The staff is always so delightful and kind. I love that they have become the center stage for bringing the community together again especially after the last two years. We signed our toddler up for their hand and eye coordination sports club class and he absolutely loves it. A few people here have written negative reviews in regards to masks, just remember that they were written only a few weeks before the mask mandates ended. The Ridge is a fantastic place to take kids on a rainy day. The indoor playground structure is bigger then any other I have visited. It's very easy to reserve a spot online or pay in person at the door. I recommend doing 2 hrs for the price as 1 hr is never enough for my daughter to do everything. This place has a water table, a sand table and a play structure with 3 levels. It also includes a climbing wall where games and characters appear on the wall for kids to climb and tap. They have a small food court too with pizza, chic and fries etc. And if you buy food an Tues you get half price tix. We continue to come here as it's a favorite for my daughter and her friends. They range from ages 3-6. Oh and there's a small play spot for babies and toddlers which is only $5 to access. Overall awesome place! read more

We used to love this place but will no longer be returning. It is not regulated and they have ZERO safety rules nor do they care when a kid is injured. One of my 3yr olds was injured to the point she actually lost her toe nail. When it was brought up to staff they didn't even ask if she was ok. They just said that it is a play at their own risk type place and if we don't like it then we shouldn't come. After a while I wanted to try it out again and had another crap experience. When we arrived there was a massive mess of the sand on the floor and over an hour later I hear my daughter screaming and when I go to look there is a lady forcefully picking her up and removing her from the sand area. My daughter is autistic and cannot handle being touched by an adult stranger. An employee began blaming me for allowing my daughter to do pour all the sand out of the sandbox. Yet that sand was already on the floor an hour prior when we arrived! I was blamed for not watching my kids when I was and I also find it ironic because there are parents working on their laptops while their kids play and NONE of them were asked to turn it off to watch their kids. Nobody should have placed their hands on my child especially since she was not hurting anyone else or herself. And maybe they should pay attention to the facility a little better if they want to prevent the messes to begin with. We will NOT be returning. read more

The place is smaller but I like how the climbing jungle is one way in and one way out.... No other exits in the other side. It's great for child safety. The water table and sad table are a great touch. I wish they had a discounted price for special needs kids as many other places do. I've come here 3 times now and my kids love it! The food is good, the staff are so friendly and the play area and laser tag is a lot of fun. The party rooms are kinda on the small side but lets be honest, only the adults hang out there. The kids spend 99% of the time in the play area anyways. We had our sons birthday at the ridge. For the laser tag, I think overall there was maybe one hiccup. But a good experience. The cons of laser tag was being in the room downstairs...1 hour of laser tag was great. The staff who helped the kids ,great. My party wanted to go upto the jungle gym area but I have to say for $500 even 30 min extra for that would be nice. The packages are too specific to only one activity... for such a short time. Overall a nice experience. But might try somewhere else since they include more play for your buck. Not being able to bring food in is difficult never had a party where we didn't have enough food and this was one :( won't come here again? Nothing brings me back... I've had so many times where they forgot about my food and waited over an hour to feed my kids. We ordered tons of pizza for the party just not ideal here. Will try a diff place read more

Geared to older kids and toddlers 5/6 year old. Took my 4 yr old and 2 year old daughters, and they both struggled with the big structures. Even the small slide we went down was pretty fast, fell down the mat hard, and didn't feel good for us. The 2-year-old area was pretty weak sauce. My 2 year old didn't really care for it. The best part was the sand area with projected dinosaurs and the food. Food wise we ordered Hawaiian pizza (one size large $22), fries ($6), grilled cheese ($11), Kids Mac n cheese ( $6), and everything was really good surprisingly. Took a while to get the pizza so I'd order it before anyone gets hangry. They have a good sitting area for large groups, but I think a school is connected because lots of students came all a sudden and hung out in the eating area so it could get crowded. I was really disappointed with our experience yesterday. We went with friends for a celebration and when we arrived almost no one was wearing a mask. There were hundreds of adults and children and it was clear that following the current state mandate indoors was not being enforced. As someone with auto immune issues I had to leave after only a short stay. I understand that masks are not comfortable but we cannot break rules just because we don't like them. No one wears masks. When asked if they enforce mask policy (as stated on their website), employee said "we can't enforce it, it's none of our business." As a parent with a newborn at home, I had to make the decision to leave, with my disappointed crying toddler in tow bc of the selfish decisions of others. This was so much fun for us and our 22 month old son. A great chance to work on socializing. The water table was one of his favorite features but he also loved the balls and small play slide in the toddler area. A nice bonus is that they supply waterproof vests to help avoid total saturation while the kids play at the water table. Our son also loved the Jungle Zone. He went in the Jungle numerous times and each time went further and became more comfortable with it. The only issue I could think of with this place was that it was crowded but this is to be expected considering how much fun it is. Since our son is under 2 it was free and it was really nice that parents could accompany the kid on the Jungle toy. Inside the Jungle toy was a nice size for parents to assist their child too! I'm 6'4" and I didn't feel claustrophobic at all. We will be visiting The Ridge regularly as we visit our family in the area. Great indoor, clean, and enriching opportunity for all young kids. We had my son's 6th Birthday here today. It was a very last minute party location change due to weather. I came in not knowing what to expect... and it went so awesome! The manager and staff and kitchen director were incredible! They rented us a party room and I was set up quickly by the staff. They were friendly and so helpful! We thought the pizza may just be the frozen pizza and ordered 3 large pizzas for our large group... we were pleased that it looked amazing and tasted even better. So much to do! This place is a haven for both the adults and the kids. The kids have lots of opportunities for fun without getting bored too quickly. And the parents can grab a bite and sit at the bar top and chat while the kids play. There is even a great space for toddlers and crawlers. Every age can get their wiggles out! Ten stars!!! It's clear that all the people here go to this church and know each other. I go to Park Ridge Community Church so I am a little biased but I really love this place & I'm very proud of it. I had "The Jerry" sandwich on the opening night in honor of Jerry Sebranke who pastored PRCC for many years. Steve has put his heart & soul into making the food delicious & this peanut butter & jelly sandwich did not disappoint. We've ordered the pizza a few times and it's amazing. It is an awesome building with lots to offer all ages. We hosted our Harvest Carnival there & there is nothing like seeing a gym full of kids really enjoying themselves. This is the best kids indoor play area around - I just wish we would have found it sooner. The facility is clean, the staff are very nice and the food is surprisingly good. My young daughter could have played at the water table for hours. Disregard the paranoid 1-star haters on here - they know this is an excellent facility. The Ridge has quickly become my kids' favorite play space. The climbing structure is incredible - great for all ages - multiple levels and slides for all different ages. A smaller slide that my 4 year old loves, but also several bigger slides my older kids enjoy. The water table is a huge hit and I love that we don't have to go all the way to the Children's museum for that experience. The facility is super clean, with great food at the cafe. The Ridge is also my new favorite place to meet up with friends for a play date. We can sit and chat while our kids play and it's easy to keep an eye on them. The Ridge also just announced enrichment classes starting soon, and my children are so excited to sign up for art and dance classes. And a major plus is that my youngest can play at the climbing structure while my older kids are in classes. So much better than having to wait in the car! read more
