On a positive note, it's nice to have a facility somewhat near our house. The unfortunate thing is that the staff have absolutely no customer service skills, unilaterally. They act like baseball jocks, and, although many of the kids are endeavoring to be one, that doesn't mean that they should act like it as adults. Most importantly, The facilities are out of repair. You end up paying nearly $100 per month for a membership and two of the five batting cages are out almost all the time. For months on end. So you materially pay full price for a partial product. When staff are confronted, there are no apologies, just reasons why machine machines are broken, which, to a consumer, frankly don't matter at all. The business would do better if people were treated more courteously, and if it was kept up to date. read more

Hate leaving less than 4 or 5 star reviews but do so when I believe it will help an unsuspecting future patron. The facility itself is largely ok. It's nice to have a cage to quickly reserve last minute if VeloTech Redmond or BasebyPros is booked up. I've brought a couple of members of my team in to see Ben Merril a few times and it'll be our last. Struggles to adapt fundamentals to the player so it's more akin to trying to execute what you see on YouTube. Doesn't respond well to feedback. Not sure about the other instructors. Maybe I'll try one of them before I give up. read more

I bring my 8 year old son here so we can use the batting cages with a pitching machine, just for fun. Each credit buys 15 balls. We buy a card with 25 credits and save the card to split it up each visit. Pros: -provide helmets and bats for free -multiple pitching speeds, types, and heights -pitching machine can do baseball, softball, and slow pitch -polite staff, not friendly, but not rude or mean Cons: -the building is whatever the temperature is outside in the summer since they use outdoor air, so expect to be completely hot and sweaty within minutes of standing still -no directions from staff about where to go or how to work anything. I had to specifically ask for each thing. "Where do we go? How do we use the machine? What do these cards mean?" -staff give the appropriate size bat, but don't help with helmets, so just try a bunch of sweaty ones on until you find one you think is supposed to fit read more

Finding a good batting cage is difficult, okay finding self pitching batting cage is even more difficult. This place has multiple batting cages that can serve up baseball or softball pitching at various speeds and pitches. The facility is very well in kept and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The upside is that their proshop has a good selection and the pricing seems to be on par with surrounding sporting goods stores. The prices for purchasing batting cage time is very reasonable and it goes onto a card that you take with you. The biggest highlight of this facility is the fact that they use real baseballs and softballs. As everyone knows dimple balls are not good for expensive hardware. It is now moving into softball season and this is a great place to get some swings in before everything starts going. The only drawback is that at peak times you will have to wait for a cage if someone does not allow you to work into their cage. read more

D Bat is a great place for kids of all ages to improve their skill level. Kid # 2 has been using the batting cages for years and is doing a camp there now. Last year her team used the facilities multiple times for practice when it was freezing outside. The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating as well. We have purchased lots of softball equipment, including "the best bat ever" according to my kid. Go check it out. Even if you have no idea what to do (speaking as a parent who did not play ball), they will hook you up and you will be impressed and happy with this place. Came down to get my college player some extra reps and work with her former coaches. We were told we could not coach her and must use one of their coaches. I was not aware of that policy and can not find it on their web site. They let us work out for the hour we rented but we won't be back. read more

D-Bat is wonderful. Great machines and great staff. The facility is top notch, too. I would happily give five stars if they could do something about people abusing the three swipe limit when there's people obviously waiting right behind them. Not everyone is comfortable speaking up and mentioning that they've swiped three times. It would be nice if you guys implemented a sign-up sheet or had a couple employees walking around asking people that are in the cages when there's people waiting, hey, how many times have you restarted, or whatever. Fortunately, I am fine speaking up and my kids got to hit today, but I saw people waiting way way too long. I'll still be back again and again. It's a great place. read more

An excellent new premium baseball and softball facility that offers private lessons, automated batting cages, bull pen, cage rentals, a conference room, a waiting lounge, merchandise and other cool stuff. You can walk in and pay for what you want or get monthly memberships that offer different levels of discounts on what you are looking for. It appears they have two different types of memberships; Gold and Platinum and they can be used at any of their other nationwide locations. At this point in time the membership prices are introductory since they are still new. Gold is $38 per month / Platinum is $68 per month. The best membership for you depends on what you plan to do while you are there. If you primarily use the batting cages only then the Gold might suit you better. But if you plan to get lessons and other stuff then the Platinum will offer a higher discount. I was impressed with what they have to offer and loved how clean and organized it is. The general manager, DJ was super friendly and helpful. My son absolutely loves this place. read more

We've been here several times and often hear their balls break your bat. Well it finally happened to my son's bat. Cracked. His teammate's bat broke also a little while ago. Why would they do that? so that people buy bats there? We won't go back again because our $350 DiMarini bat is broken now. read more

Had a membership, would pay for a cage once a week, had been going there with my daughter for 1 year plus. Got call from DJ, who said they don't allow private coaches in the facility. I rented the cage, and my daughters hitting coach went to meet her because she's beyond my help at this point. DJ was rude accused me of lying multiple times (first time we ever spoke). Poor customer service with really weird rules. I've seen several club coaches in there working with their teams, what's the difference, and assume other private coaches. DJ if you are the owner, you are throwing money away. If you aren't, the owner should reprimand you for your rude accusatory attitude. I'd fire him if he worked for me. read more

My 10 year-old son and I went to D-Bat and had an amazing time. This place is a world class facility. There are lots of great batting cages and really nice pitching machines. Also 4 other pitching cages. There is a nice lounge area for family to hang out while kids are batting. The pitching machines give you a wide range of pitching speeds, types (curve and fastball) and locations. The ast manager was really nice, professional and helpful and made us feel right at home. The shop has a great line of high end gloves, bats and accessories that you can't find at sport stores in the area such as Dicks and Big 5. We are from Seattle and will make the 20 mile drive regularly. Considering hosting a birthday party here as well. I hope they build a location closer to downtown Seattle. Just an Amazing and clean place with friendly helpful staff. Great batting cages, with very user friendly and intuitive touch pad interface. All the equipment is brand new. There are 4 bathrooms,free WiFi, a very nice Lounge area and Coffee provided! Unlimited swipes on the machines and cage use makes the platinum membership totally worth it for me. Staff are courteous, and always helpful. WeekNights were extremely busy with Select team practices, and Little League evals for a bit. Snow came and caused the place to get packed as well. Other than that, there are some nights where there are open batting cages and and pitching machine lanes with out long lines. Really enjoy this place and will continue to be a member as long as the Customer service stays like it is. read more

A good place to get some practice in! I liked that there were so many options to what balls to use and at what speeds. Even with the softball, there were 3 different arc heights to choose from. Went there Sunday to hit some balls was all excited. They do not rent or have Bats to use? WTF? When I go the driving range they have clubs that I can use? When I go to the shooting range there are guns I can rent. Other batting places I have been in CA always have bats to use? Left very disappointed. Don't really feel like buying a bat for the 1-2 times I feel like hitting a ball per year? The truth is I don't even know what type or size of bat I would buy without trying some out first. See the problem? Pro Tip: Perhaps you could sell some more bats if you had a way for people to try them? I can test drive a car but not a bat? read more
