Several items tasted like leftovers or as though they'd been sitting out all day, even though we arrived only an hour after opening. Things that make you go hmmm The atmosphere was dull, and the building definitely shows its age. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The made-to-order omelet was also good--probably because it hadn't been sitting at the buffet long enough to establish residency. Unfortunately, the food is the main attraction, so this Sunday brunch buffet is a hard no for my family and me.

Tonight I almost skipped dinner, but when I spotted French onion soup on the menu at Duane's Steakhouse in the lobby, I knew it was worth a quick trip downstairs. I'm so glad I did. The soup was wonderful, but getting to chat with Stephane, the general manager, ended up being the best part. While I waited for the soup, we chatted and laughed about the days when smoking on airplanes was still a thing, and some of the places he's lived around the world. He was an absolute gem to talk with. What started as a quick stop for soup turned into one of those memorable travel moments when home doesn't feel so far away. Thank you again, Stephane, for your hospitality. I truly hope my travels bring me back to the Mission Inn and Duane's again soon~!

Unfortunately, my experience at Mission Inn Steakhouse was disappointing, especially considering…read morethe price point. I started with the Caesar salad appetizer, which was extremely small for an appetizer portion. The French onion soup was also underwhelming. It had copious amounts of large onion pieces, but the soup itself was very watery and lacked the richness you would expect from a French onion soup. For my entrée, I ordered the Peppercorn Prime New York, which came with roasted root purée, Brussels sprouts, watercress, and peppercorn sauce. It had great flavor but I ordered the steak medium well, but it initially came out medium rare. I sent it back, expecting it to be corrected. Unfortunately, when it returned, it was somehow even more bloody than the first time. I'm pregnant and can not have a rare steak but by this time I was fed up already. For a steakhouse at this price point, I would expect a steak to be cooked accurately according to the temperature requested. Having to send it back and then receiving it still undercooked was very disappointing. Overall, the food did not live up to the price or expectations of a higher end steakhouse. The experience was especially frustrating because something as basic as cooking a steak to the requested temperature should be one of the fundamentals at a steakhouse.

Not a fan of the Ai slop advertisements…read more I am a regular of this place. I truly taste the higher standard of food Bengee sushi makes in its tempura set and the quality in fish. However. Constantly seeing it push Ai generated images on its menu and advertisements is a huge turn off. Taking a photo of their dishes is infinitely better because they plate their food much nicer than the competition already. If this restaurant is using Ai generated content to cut corners, am I led to believe they will cut corners in their ingredients next? I had to quit the loyalty program to stop seeing spam, because the photos are that unappetizing.

The staff is friendly and attentive, and it's always a great place to come with friends, grab some food, and watch a game. The food and drinks are always good, and the beer is ICE COLD! They also have an awesome selection with over 25 beers on draft, so there's definitely something for everyone. I also appreciate that their policies are clearly communicated. Auto gratuity is only added on Football Sundays during their football events, which makes sense considering how busy it gets and the larger groups that come in for the games. Overall, it's a great local spot with good food, cold drinks, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite places to come hang out, especially during football season! I really enjoy service from ALL the bartenders. It's obvious they get extremely busy at times. A little patience goes a long way.

**1 Star -- Very Disappointing Experience**…read more Our experience at Beach Bar and Grill was extremely disappointing. We waited **over an hour for a bucket of beer**, and when we followed up, our waitress told us that our ticket had been lost. The service was consistently slow, and we often felt ignored. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere did not feel welcoming or professional. We were also charged an **automatic 20% gratuity**, despite the level of service we received. Because of the long delays and poor service, I respectfully asked for the automatic gratuity to be removed so that my sister and I could leave a tip based on our actual experience. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, the manager became confrontational. The situation became even more inappropriate when one of the waitresses told us to **"shut up"** and called us **"cheapskates,"** telling us that we should never come back. No customer should be spoken to that way simply for questioning a gratuity. We also observed the owner, along with waitstaff and bartenders, drinking with customers and drinking while working. Regardless of the establishment's policies, witnessing employees consuming alcohol while on duty contributed to what felt like an unprofessional environment. We understand that restaurants can have busy nights and that mistakes happen. However, the combination of the extremely long wait, lost order, poor communication, automatic gratuity, and disrespectful treatment made this a very unpleasant experience. **Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Beach Bar and Grill and will not be returning.** NOTE: This gratuity sign was originally on the inside. So when a customer opens the door to walk in. They do not see it. When I was walking out *** I peeled the sign off AND placed it on the front of the door***. So that way, customers can know about how they add their own gratuity. Owner needs to pay employees more and not reley on customers to pay thier hourly wages. MADDIE'S REVIEW: IS ONE OF THE WAITRESS WHO WORKS THERE ALLEGEDLY.

Do not work here. Do not eat here. Seriously…read more Joyce Burger in Jurupa Valley is one of the most poorly run and unprofessional places I've ever come across. This place appears to be intentionally understaffed, with only 2-3 employees expected to run the entire restaurant at once--handling cashiering, drive-thru, cooking, cleaning, and trash all at the same time. It's chaotic, overwhelming, and completely unsustainable. The treatment of employees is even worse. Workers are expected to stay and continue working 30+ minutes AFTER clocking out. That is not just unethical--it appears to be a clear violation of labor laws. On top of that, schedules are not even provided until the morning of, yet employees are expected to show up early or adjust their entire day at management's convenience. There is zero respect for people's time or lives outside of work. Management is extremely inconsistent and dismissive. In one situation, an employee had a legitimate emergency and was told--rudely--to "think about the business," with no concern or empathy whatsoever. But when that same employee later quit, management had the nerve to complain about not receiving a two-week notice, despite never offering employees the basic courtesy of advance scheduling. The hypocrisy is unreal. There are also serious food safety concerns that should not be ignored. Employees are expected to handle cash and then immediately prepare food without proper handwashing being enforced. There are also reports of old fries being reused and fryer oil not being changed regularly, which raises major questions about cleanliness and food quality. Overall, this is not a professional environment in any sense. Between the way employees are treated, the lack of basic organization, and the concerning food handling practices, this is a place that needs to be looked into. Spend your money somewhere else.

The plump shrimp was very tasty, and the soup a superior rendition of Manhattan Clam Chowder. Complimentary fresh-baked Sourdough Bread and butter were slow to arrive at our table, but when they did, the bread was excellent and addictive as usual. My brother polished off the majority of the Coconut Shrimp, and Diane liked her Yaki Butterfish, which was a form of Black Cod anointed with Teriyaki Sauce. I decided to splurge on Alaskan King Crab Legs, which are sold here at Market Price. It was $125 for 1 pound on the day I visited. This is still a good price compared with the Las Vegas prices I am used to. Two tools were provided to disassemble the crab legs, but they were enough to get the job done. Served with Drawn Butter, the King Crab Legs were sweet and divine, with a medley of garden vegetables and Cheese Potatoes as suitable accompaniments. And the portion of crustacean I received appeared to be bigger than 1 pound. I happily gave away some big morsels of crab legs to my brother and Diane (making them happy as well), and still had plenty of crab left for me. Service by Nicole O was commendable, and table seating comfortable in the large dining room. I expect to return soon, and add a dinner salad to whatever entree of several fine ones offered here that I choose.
