Tried the reserve for the first time and really don't understand all the negativity in the reviews. We were promptly seated by a very friendly hostess. Since it was a nice day, we requested to sit at the outdoor bar, which is adjacent to the courtyard and patio. The bartender quickly provided menus and explained the options. We went ahead and ordered a mimosa carafe, which was very well priced. Upon delivery of the mimosas, the bartender asked if we had any questions and we said we weren't sure just how hungry we were, so were wondering where was a good place to start. He suggested "The Tour" from the appetizer menu. This comes with multiple types of tamales, taquitos and empanadas. Given the recommendation, we went with it. The food was brought out quickly and we went to town. The tamales were by far my favorite part of the platter, particularly the green sauce ones. That said, the empanadas and taquitos certainly didn't disappoint. We determined after The Tour that we were full, so didn't order more food. Had one more beer and headed out. The price was super reasonable for a place like this. While we didn't have a ton to eat here, we had a great experience and look forward to trying more of the menu. read more

I don't understand how this place isn't rated higher. I have lived in the grapevine Colleyville area my whole life and this is the best authentic Mexican food around. Full stop. First off I want to say thank you for the manager for making an exception to our large party doing multiple tickets I understand changes happen but after we had asked to speak to the manager for this issue the waitress carried an attitude the whole time and when I went to pay for my dinner she announced that my card was declined and asked for another form of payment when in reality a partial payment was made and the rest was on another card and she did not explain that when she brought me a stack of receipts I had to ask for manager and then waitress wanted to step in the middle of conversation to explain and then excused herself by telling manager you can handle this going forward. I had been here multiple times before and never had an issue like this and we've had two other large parties here and food and service had never been an issue. Waitress name was Isis!! read more

We used to love going to this place in the past but our most recent experience puts this on our do not visit list. We had a reservation for surprise dinner at 6pm in private room and when we arrived the hostess had no record of the reservation. The room was set up while our entire party was already there then was told because the reservation was done that same morning was the reason it was not ready. The room was hot and stuffy. They did not bring the chips and salsa until we asked about it twice. I decided to step out and open a seperate tab at the bar to get our 2nd and 3rd drinks because it was faster than ordering with the waitress. Most of our party ordered appetizers off the happy hour menu then when the bill came we did not receive happy hour pricing and were told their kiosk had old pricing and they refused to honor the pricing. The managers attitude toward us was rude and basically said too bad so sad. There are plenty of better happy hours and better "Mexican" restaurants out there. read more

Nice attractive restaurant. Good wait staff! Food, not so great? They have 3 different salsas and they are good! You have to ask for them though. They initially serve the less spicy one. I ordered Chicken enchiladas and they were good! The beans are very different but tasty. The Mexican rice is bland and the flour tortillas are small and rubbery. We learned that they make homemade corn tortillas and we probably would've liked them much better. Taco Tuesday special is $2.50/taco, so not a bad price. Probably won't rush back. read more

A friend and I came here for happy hour one day to try something new. He had heard of this place so he was looking forward to trying it. It was not a pleasant experience at all. Our server was only worried about whatever else was going on at the bar and not his section of tables. He wasn't attentive to our request. When we asked about the menu he didn't offer suggestions or anything. We made a joke about getting taking shots of this very expensive tequila they had and before we could say anything else he rang it in. Mmmmmm, tacos!! The Reserve's atmosphere and location are excellent. They have a roomy patio and a good menu. You can have a full on meal or light bites like street tacos and empanadas. I have eaten at The Reserve in Euless numerous times. The food is wonderful! Definitely not Tex Mex, but a treat just the same. We have had the same sweet server several times and she is great, but overall I would say they are short staffed. I encourage you to give it a try. Never a good meal when you find a long hair in your tacos. The Reserve meal had 3 tacos. So I chose one ground beef (with hair). One fajita beef that was very tough, one fajita chicken. It was ok. I can understand both sides of the reviews but will only qualify our experience. Friday evening 530 pm, walked in and was seated immediately. The platter the chips and salsa are served on is nice but really not enough salsa for more than two people and when asked for more expecting a small cup of salsa we received another platter. The salsa had good flavor and the chips were good. My wife and daughter shared the quesadillas and they were mostly flavorless and a tad on the greasy side. I had the chicken enchiladas with the ruby sauce and those were good. The beans and rice were just okay but not horrible. Our waitress was very nice, maybe a little unsure of herself but her service was great. Food came out timely but barely warm. The decor was confusing for me but not distracting. As another Yelper mentioned, I have no clue why this place has such poor reviews... Tried it last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. DAILY happy hour 3-7pm. Started with two HH margaritas for $7 each, $2 upcharge for top-shelf. No problem. Margs were a bit sweet but strong, not too much ice. Then a HH order of "Nachitos" with trompo (al pastor on a spit) for $8... delicious! Took the waiter's recommendation and were not disappointed. Moved on to some chicken fajita tacos and trompo sopes. Everything was solid Tex-Mex, appropriately priced for the portions and quality. Happy Hour time & specials are great. ALSO, service at the inside/outside bar was quick & attentive. We were served by 3 different bartenders and 1 busboy and never had to wait more than 60 seconds to make a request. The place looks nice and modern. I asked the waiter if there was another dressing besides Ranch for my salad. He seemed confused and offered me ketchup. The queso flamado tasted like the dough we used to make in kindergarten with flour, salt, and water. I'll go back there to try a margarita at the cool looking indoor/outdoor bar. I was going to wait to try this new place because typically new places need to iron the kinks out. But after reading so many rave Google reviews, we decided to try it. I called to see if they made reservations. She said they did and we made one for 7pm that same night. We showed up and they had no reservation for me. That wasn't such a big deal because they could seat us right away. After some investigation it turns out their website calls the wrong number when you select the Euless location. We brought it to the managers attention. The music is way to loud. We couldn't hear each other talking while we waited 20 minutes for a server (which we had to flag down someone to get their attention). When our server, Monica, arrived we couldn't hear her over the music. She also had a hard time hearing us. If your staff can't hear the customers, it's TOO LOUD! My sister ordered the Paloma. She loved it. I had the pink coconut drink, it was good but very sweet. They do not have fresh brewed iced tea, FYI. My boyfriend ordered the Michelada. By the time it arrived to our table most of the ice had melted and the drink was very watered down. It took way too long to get our drinks. We ordered queso flameado as a starter. I'm not being dramatic when I say it was less than 1/2 cup of queso for $10!! (See photo) The menu says it has onions, tomatoes and jalapeños. Nope. It was just cheese. Boring, mealy cheese. She brought it out in a regular bowl and then put it in a hot plate at our table. Not sure what the show was for. At this point, we still had NO chips, salsa, plates or even napkins and silverware! Why would you bring queso and no chips?? Are we supposed to eat it with our fingers?? When I asked about chips she said "I'll bring them". At this point, our party of 5 was fed up so I went to get the manager, Jonathan. He had ZERO sympathy. He didn't even grunt. So I went back to the table. I took napkins and silverware from another table. It was about 5 minutes after she brought the queso before we got chips. And when she brought chips there was no salsa with them. Their menu says "house made chips and salsa daily". I highly doubt these are house made. They were stale, cold and that fake red and green color. This next statement might shock you, but she didn't bring any salsa with the one bowl of chips - for 5 people. We asked for salsa and she brought a 1/4 cup of salsa - for 5 people!! (See photo) She kind of scoffed when I asked for more salsa. My brother-in-law said "there are 5 of us". In what world would you bring one tiny container of salsa for 5 people?? We decided to try this place out. The chips & salsa were alright. Once I received my meal, I was disappointed. I got the chicken flautas, their was an odor to them, I couldn't stand. They were also very greasy. My daughter got a hamburger & she didn't like it & it also had a smell to it as well, as if the meat was old. I wanted to throw up. We have eaten here a couple times, and I've had a happy hour with my girlfriends. The adults devoured their queso fundido but unfortunately the kids hardly touched theirs. It's also a relatively small portion compared to Texas sized portions elsewhere. My kids love their pancakes, though! Then, when we asked for a couple of extra tortillas to accommodate our single order of the Parradilla ( we had originally ordered the chicken parradilla for two), they had the audicity to charge us $4 for 3 flour tortillas!!
