We were going to have him paint them, but he suggested we get new ones, as they were on sale at Menards at the time, and would be less expensive then to paint. They are beautiful now. Next, he painted our pole barn metal roof. He helped us pick out the right type of paint, got it for us and stuck to the price he quoted, even though he did a lot of prep work that I don't think was figured in the quote. Also put a window in the door and painted it and refurbished the door handle. Then as a little side job, he fixed some siding on the house and also an exhaust fan in our bathroom. But the best thing was he showed up when he said he would and kept us informed every step of the way. Always calling us to keep in touch when he was on his way, or making sure he was coming the next day and what time. We really appreciated that. On top of that, he was just a very friendly nice guy. Always saying, if you need anything, or anything I can do, "just give me a call." I would recommend him for any kind of handyman project. I know I will definitely use him again.

They found…read morethe problems, and knew how to fix them, and explained them to me in layman's terms, so I felt comfortable that they knew the best way was to fix it. Also, they had the lowest hourly rate ever. My home is aging, and about 4 or 5 companies came to give an estimate on the repairs. However, they all kept saying they could not do the repair on a roof that old, that they had to do a full roof replacement. They're estimates were all over $5000 and all from a well-known "list". I found and called some handymen online, and Justin called me back right away. Justin and his coworker came and looked at the problem and knew just how to fix it. They caulked the windows and the leaking indoors stopped! It is great to not hear the drip, drip, drip of a roof full of snow melting into your windows and needing to replace bath towels from the windowsills every day and also the possible damage inside the walls/insulation (mold or mildew). Then they were scheduled to return when the weather was warmer so that the tar and new shingles would stick better. For now, NO dripping, NO towels. Woohoo!!! His process included powerwashing ... wirebrushing ... bleaching the darkest portions to get the wood to look uniform ... and then water sealing/staining with an oil-based product he advised works better than the brand people typically use. His work was meticulous throughout the process. It's a screen porch and there was no damage involving the screens. We made a great decision hiring Chad to do this project.

Did not show up on time, brought people who just sat around or had screaming fights down the street, brought a two year old and a puppy, did not have supplies or functional equipment, was late by hours, and even required a ride home by us.
