Their quote was outrageous and was 5 times more than what it should be. I then called Briggs because they were a locally owned and operated company. I am super happy with the work that they did. They took my call and gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone and was able to come out the next day. They were here and did everything and more than we asked for and did it with high standards. This is what I love about local businesses they not only care about being fair on pricing but fair on the good standard of work. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. I will also be giving them a call when we need more work done in the future. Thanks Briggs for the excellent work!

Kurt was amazing to work for at first…read more At first. We had him put a new roof and gutters on our house. And after going through the misfortune of unemployment and making the difficult decision to sell our house to move to a state with more jobs, we asked Kurt to replace a bathroom window for us so we could get the home up to code. He quoted us and said he'd get it taken care of right away, and we called back to pay him and set up an installation date only to be ghosted. He completely ignored us after saying he'd take care of the window and providing a quote. We didn't have any issues with him and everything seemed to be going fine, so we were surprised and disappointed. This seems to be a pattern with him as others have stated here and on his Google reviews. If it wasn't for our amazing real estate agent finding a company for us to work on the window after we had already moved, we would have had issues getting our new buyer approved for the sale. We were happy with the work we did have done on our home however, I can't recommend Kurt or his company as he's inconsistent, dishonest and unresponsive.

Five stars

His work was excellent and we now are retired and in our new home for 5 years in Vicksburg, after living on the west side of Kalamazoo for 32 years! At my age I remembered his name because he is such a good person and in these times I am proud to say he is a very good Christian young man! He also had a very kind staff that was always helpful. Jason's work was exceptional, and as a retired dentist I had pretty high standards for what my wife and I expected and hoped for, and now we miss the super nice 95% efficient Heaters and AC's and we have wished we had them here but adding retirement to this unnecessary terrible inflation makes us miss our greatest president and we are very concerned for him and what is happening to him that is egregious and we pray for him and everyone we love and are about every day! Jason, we sure miss you and maybe we can get the work we need someday but we are blessed to be here with our family and loved ones! Mike & Kathy Schroeder
