We have had a leak in our summer cottage for over a year- a leak that would only show up…read moreintermittently. After intense searching and trying different solutions, the slow leak persisted. Finally, last Saturday we concluded that the water was coming from inside the plumbing wall. I called Town and Country this morning, and was given an appointment for tomorrow, which would work, but require that we delay our return home. The person who answered the phone said there was a possibility that a technician might be freed up today. At noon we received a call from "Dave" of Town and Country. He said he was "20 minutes away". Dave came, diagnosed exactly where the leak in our drain piping was ( inside the plumbing wall). He carefully cut away the wood for access, in such a way the it can be easily reconstructed. He reconfigured the PVC drain assembly perfectly, and also rebuilt the under sink drain piping assembly. Work was fast and excellent...and the mysterious leak has finally been fixed! I called our son in law to see if he knew of one, "DC Plumbing, they're real good!" I called and sent an email. Panicking, I looked for more emergency service plumbers. I called a total of 5, one actually answered the phone. I received a quote,, it was 10:45 now and I was quoted late afternoon early evening. I said I would call them back if I had no luck finding someone else. I checked my email and there was a response from DC Plumbing. The owner was very apologetic that he couldn't get out to our home that day, but he could come first thing the next day. At that point, it was good enough, so we waited. I am so glad we did. We saved money by not using an emergency service, and his workers were here right when he said they would be. They were in and out in roughly 10 minutes and did a wonderful job. The owner was extremely thorough, I sent pictures of the leak to help (as asked). Promptness responding as well as service by great employees! Hard to find these days for sure. I have already sent their information to a few friends. I wouldn't call anyone else. By the way, the other 24 hour service plumbers, never responded back until the next morning, except for one, I never heard from them.

Their quote was outrageous and was 5 times more than what it should be. I then called Briggs because they were a locally owned and operated company. I am super happy with the work that they did. They took my call and gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone and was able to come out the next day. They were here and did everything and more than we asked for and did it with high standards. This is what I love about local businesses they not only care about being fair on pricing but fair on the good standard of work. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. His work was excellent and we now are retired and in our new home for 5 years in Vicksburg, after living on the west side of Kalamazoo for 32 years! At my age I remembered his name because he is such a good person and in these times I am proud to say he is a very good Christian young man! He also had a very kind staff that was always helpful.
