I called our son in law to see if he knew of one, "DC Plumbing, they're real good!" I called and sent an email. Panicking, I looked for more emergency service plumbers. I called a total of 5, one actually answered the phone. I received a quote,, it was 10:45 now and I was quoted late afternoon early evening. I said I would call them back if I had no luck finding someone else. I checked my email and there was a response from DC Plumbing. The owner was very apologetic that he couldn't get out to our home that day, but he could come first thing the next day. At that point, it was good enough, so we waited. I am so glad we did. We saved money by not using an emergency service, and his workers were here right when he said they would be. They were in and out in roughly 10 minutes and did a wonderful job. The owner was extremely thorough, I sent pictures of the leak to help (as asked). Promptness responding as well as service by great employees! Hard to find these days for sure. I have already sent their information to a few friends. I wouldn't call anyone else. By the way, the other 24 hour service plumbers, never responded back until the next morning, except for one, I never heard from them.

The serviceman, Luke, arrived on time. He was courteous, and put show covers on on to protect our carpeting. After assessing the problem, he replaced the cartridge and to our surprise, we had a strong shower spray again. I felt the charge was very reasonable. They took my call and gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone and was able to come out the next day. They were here and did everything and more than we asked for and did it with high standards. One week after " completing" the job, I had electrical failures upstairs. They came back corrected their mistake. Second week during a renovation project the builder discovered the old nob and tube wiring they said they removed was still intact and ACTIVE! Whitney came back out a second time and took care of the issue. Third week I went into the basement and discovered they had taken out all the light socket and electrical switches and didn't replace any of them. Five in total. In addition the " boss" adamantly said to take care of each of those three problems it would cost extra. Thank goodness I had a contract. emEnd if discussion. My son, had a very similar issue not knowing it was Whitney that I hired. Whitney sent out a plumber to fix a Clogged drain. My son used a plumbers snake and a few other things to remedy the problem clog to no avail. when the plumber from Whitney came, my son showed him where the clog was. Plumber said you need a snake to unclog it and I didn't bring one. Charged my son $250. My son said your website says free estimates. Plumber replied, estimates are free. This is a diagnostic fee. We had Whitney Services out for a worsening whole-home plumbing/water-pressure issue involving…read moremultiple fixtures. During the visit, the technician discussed concerns that the water softener was causing a restriction/backup and releasing resin beads into the plumbing, with a recommendation to replace the softener and flush the plumbing lines. We were also told that flushing could potentially reveal or cause failures in affected fixtures or components because of the existing buildup. Afterward, the written service report did not document the specific findings, observed resin, worsening pressure, affected toilets/shower/faucets, or the recommended repairs that were discussed in person. We promptly asked them to correct the record, especially because the claim was being handled through our home warranty, but received no response. Instead, once the warranty claim was denied, we received a text saying the work order was complete, asking for a five-star review, and offering a discounted estimate for the non-covered work. The review request may technically be about the diagnostic visit, but the lack of follow-through, incomplete documentation, and failure to respond to a reasonable request for an accurate report are part of our experience with the company. For a serious and worsening plumbing issue, we expected clear written findings, timely communication, and a report that accurately reflected what the technician said was happening. We did not receive that.

Had a clogged, 12 inch drain tlle under our driveway. An artesian stream runs from the back hill…read moreunder the driveway to the Lake. As a result of the clog, our driveway was flooded and it came close to flooding our garage floors, Advantage sent to service guys the day after I called, and a separate truck with a huge pump and power spraying capability. They used the up to 8000psi pump to shot a powerful stream of water into both ends of the drain tile. It took about 45 minutes to unclog and clean the tile. They used all of their 400 gallon water tank and did a great job! About $600.
