Management provided 2 chips for free drinks at the Dew Drop Inn that is located at the front of the property. After we got settled we headed to the bar. It was cozy and welcoming. We sat at the bar and bartender was friendly and knowkedgable. He was making shots for other patrons and we opted for the alien brain hemorrhage, which had peach schnapps, Baileys, grenadine and blue curacao. It was pretty tasty but drink it quick as the Baileys curdles. They had a pool table, friendly patrons and a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Food is served until 9 but we were there later than that so just had drinks and walked back to our cabin.

He wasn't just in server mode. You know? As for the food, I ordered the Lamb Burger (Amaltheia Dairy Goat Cheese, Pickled Red Onion, Roasted Tomato, Microgreens, Tzatziki Sauce, Ancient Grain Bun). It was actually excellent. There are a lot of fancy adjectives in that description right there. I'm not sure if it tasted exactly like all those adjectives suggest, but it was mighty tasty and plenty lamby. I also got to sample the Pork Belly Hoagie (Sriracha Aioli, Power Slaw, Pickled Red Onion, Cilantro, Crispy Baguette). This one was interesting. Nice pork belly covered in their kale-forward power slaw. Pickled red onion for some tang, a spicy aioli, I was really surprised by how much effort this little place put into their menu. And of course, of course I had to end my meal with a slice of their Montana staple huckleberry pie. Warm, huckley, with an ooegy gooey crust and a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. Just a wow way to end the meal. Overall, for what I was thinking was the mental equivalent of an overpriced, underperforming eatery in the middle of Walt Disney World, I was surprised at the ambiance, the service, and the food at this place. There is a bar area in the back to get drinks, plenty of shaded seating areas, 3 food trucks (Sheet Pan Pizza, Island Noodles, and Indah), and a cute little ice cream stationed foos truck. There's also a fake grassy area where you can play corn holes as well as a little stage that's for band music nights. We were craving pizzas so decided to get the margarita flatbread pizza. Delicious as they make your pizza after you ordered. Crispy outer layers, lots of fresh tiny circular shaped mozzarella cheese, fresh basils, fresh sweet tiny cherry tomatoes, and balsamic glaze. I love the fresh ingredients and the balsamic glaze did it for me! Delicious! We then treated ourselves to vanilla and huckleberry ice cream on a cone. It's the huckleberry season so I wanted to take advantage of it while we're here. Creamy and delicious. A great way to end our dinner amidst the hot weather. They also have free water and cups if you don't want any drinks. Overall a nice location with a calm ambiance as it wasn't the music night. I'm a fan of food trucks and food stalls so I wish if the space was larger they can have more food trucks there. :)

Lo and behold Games N Taps showed up on our google search and it was the best find for our needs. Plenty of pool tables and even kid sized cues. Our flight got delayed so we ended up having lunch, it was a pleasant surprise to see vegan options - the cauliflower burger was amazing. Kids loved the chicken strips and cheeseburgers. So much of the food is house made and not typical Sysco truck reheats. We enjoyed some local beers and will definitely be back before our next flight out of Kalispell.

Welcoming locals and friendly bartender/cook. Nice view of river and lake especially when the snow is falling. I stayed to enjoy the ambiance while six friends went dog sledding down the street. It was a comfortable and safe haven for me! Afterwards we ate lunch and enjoyed some cold beer. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. The bartender doubled as the cook and she was great. If ever in Montana again, I'll be sure to stop in.
