I am giving a 2 star instead of a 1 for the fact they are still new. But ... what a disaster. New restaurant offering all you can eat fish.... on a Friday is a recipe for disaster. Sat down at 5:30.... no acknowledgement from anyone until 605 when we had to stop a waitress. Drinks arrived at 630. Salads never arrived... asked about them... brought them out but they were out of the dressing we wanted. (salad is just lettuce and cheese) My meal came out 645.... lukewarm. 705 the rest of the meals come out.... ran out of baked potatoes so they arbitrarily substituted wedges for one person and fries for another. No veggies came out at all:.... and the slaw didn't either. I don't think anything else could have gone worse. All of the customers were just looking around like we were being punk'd. I hope the operations smooth out but the quality of what we had.... tenders, fries, cod..... were not good. If someone would have at least acknowledged the time delay, the food we sent back, the food we didn't get,,..: by just removing the cost off the items of the bill I think we would have been ok. But we had to tell the cashier what we needed credit for .... and she was not happy about it. read more

Just about everything. Food in general is not very good. Everything is way too expensive for what you get. Employees look like they are analyzing you the whole time you're there especially if they're not busy. Just not a friendly atmosphere. read more

Went to the red barn last night and was very pleased The food was good. I really liked the chili and I eat chili at every restaurant we go to. My husband had the all you can eat fish, and he was pleased with the fish and each time he asked for more there was no hesitation to bringing it. And the best part was our server Amber, she was very friendly and kept up with our drinks and we all enjoyed her attitude. She made our visit fun and we will be going back. read more

Friday, 5:30. One other couple inside...should've been a clue. Our family of 7, locals, finally decided to try it out....4 ordered 2pc fish meals ($12.99), 3 kids meals (1pc fish & fries w/drink $6 each). Bill came to $83! Not family-friendly considering child age 8 had to get adult meal- $3 for her drink. 2 adults drank water. Server was sweet, young, professional. Tipped her 25%. Food SUCKED, small portions. Fish tough, tasted like lunch leftovers, no flesh on it. Either overcooked or zapped/reheated. Baked potato looked grey--old, left sitting in water a few days. Horrible!! Cole slaw looked great but bland & tasteless. Came home to snack afterwards. Will never return. Corner Marathon station has fish 10x better...& cheaper & more filling. Very disappointing. The server is the ONLY reason I gave this place any stars. Sad....would love for our small town to have ONE decent restaurant-not it. read more

The service was very friendly. It was the best feature of the restaurant. The prices are extremely reasonable. I would have given them a 5 star review for service and pricing, but the food itself wasn't great. I think it could've been great, but the potatoes tasted like burnt oil, which was probably a case of overcooked bacon. If it weren't for that, I would've given it a higher review. I hope they work the kinks out. It's great to have a reasonable priced restaurant these days. read more

mamma did not cook tonight, so i let red barn do it for me!! I thought I would try the pizza. Now years ago, I owned my own pizza place, so my standards are high. They did a great job; I mean great crust and plenty of toppings and cheese they put allot on the pizza so many people do not put enough. Give them a try I think you will like this hometown restaurant they make a great pizza. read more

I really wanted to give a great review as I was excited to have a new place open in our rural area. We ordered 2 pizzas for carryout. One of our orders was incorrect - missing toppings and had extra toppings that weren't ordered. For a 7 year old - that was a miss. Fixed a Totino's party pizza instead. And honestly, it was better than the pizza we ordered. They did give us a credit when we called to let them know. I'll give the place a try again but will NOT be ordering the pizza. read more
