Solid pizza joint on the far end of town... Coworkers wanted pizza for lunch, so we stopped in... Pretty darn good. The restaurant itself is a cool lil place... Not huge, but good size seating area and very clean. The staff was friendly/attentive and the food was alright... It's not the best pizza I've had, but respectable especially for small town Indiana. We were able to seed ourselves wherever we wanted. My godson chose the corner booth even though there were only three of us. We were there for lunch. Their lunch special is a personal pan. Pizza served with either breadsticks or a side salad and a drink for only $10.75. we each did a variation of this deal. Everyone ordered a different pizza. My sister and I both had side salads, and my godson had the breadsticks with his. Drinks were refilled. They continued to check on us throughout the experience. I don't know why more restaurants don't use the team method for taking care of tables. What an absolutely efficient crew tonight and it was a half full interior and a nearly full exterior. Never met a pizza here that I would pass up.. it's the Staples that bring the family back. But it's the original slash different ones that keep me happy. Little cramped inside and the patio isn't that great because of traffic? But worth sitting out there if you don't mind the weather. Also not impressed with the to go process... you have to wade through the tables and stand awkwardly right in the dining room to get things to go. A very cute & quaint pizza joint off of the main strip in downtown Madison. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. This was our first time visiting & we loved it! I got breadsticks and a personal cheese pizza at this pizzeria. The breadsticks, again, just like the last 3 or 4 pizza places I went to were just breadsticks sadly. They had no flavor besides being bread. That was disappointing because I've been to this place years ago and I'm almost positive the breadsticks back then were very good unless I maybe got cheese sticks or something back then? I'm not sure. The pizza was just okay. Nothing to write home about. I always go with a plain cheese pizza to judge a pizza place. The inside of the restaurant is nice and the service was excellent. We were starving after a long hike at Clifty Falls, and this place caught my attention easily after driving past it a couple of times. This place seems to get pretty busy. During covid times, they did well with separating the tables and having the staff wear masks. Their main dish is pizza, but you can also get calzones and wings here, too. Ran across this restaurant on my way back from visiting Clifty Falls and am so glad I found it! They have excellent gluten free options, including a basic gluten free crust as well as a cauliflower gluten free crust. I got a half greek half cheese pizza with the cauliflower crust (it was one of the best cauliflower crusts I have ever had). The ranch with the salad had a lot of dill and seemed homemade.
