Worst matcha of all time

The signs were there.... They spelled matcha wrong on the menu but I still ordered an iced matcha. I am not being dramatic when I say it was the worst matcha of all time. The iced matcha was warm. The ice melted in 5 seconds. It tasted like they mixed half expired skim milk with water and added .00003 tsp matcha powder. I dumped it in the bushes and ran away.

Excellent coffee and very cool space. People working here were super friendly. I would love to come back and enjoy some more of their items. I got a mocha latte hot with oat milk of course and a breakfast bagel sandwich and it was really delicious. Ryan enjoyed his as well and a chai ! There's lots of space here to break out a laptop and do some work or to sit with a group of friends or just a couple of people. There's also an outdoor area and it's conveniently located in a cute neighborhood which was walkable for us so we definitely will be coming here again. I can't believe we are just now discovering this place !

I came here for lunch with some friends on a Sunday, and the place was pretty busy. It's a great spot for meeting up with friends who have kids since there's an enclosed playground to keep them entertained. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by an issue with my meal. There was wax paper in my Tuscan Chicken sandwich, and I didn't realize it until I had already eaten some of it. This really ruined the meal for me. The Spin Class salad was fine, but honestly, I can't remember much about it because the wax paper incident left such a negative impression.

Okay!! I am SO glad I found this coffee shop. Since moving to Denver- all the shops I have tried have been major let downs. This place was finally different! The ladies working this morning were so kind, greeted me with a smile, were helpful in my choices for my first visit and personable! I just grabbed a rosemary bag with chive cream cheese on my way to an appointment, but I could not wait and ripped into it as soon as I got back to the car! I was shocked when I walked up and saw the patio with various seating options, a nice taken care of turf, a children's playground and a garage door to roll up during the summer! There's even a gazebo near the playground that has a REALLY nice table under it. They do have a bar in there in addition to the coffee counter. All in all a great first trip. Can't wait to come back and hang out!! Update! I got the names of the two ladies working who were so amazing for me! Ky and Vickie!

A friend suggested this spot for a quick catch up session. Pretty nice patio area with a small climbing structure for younger kiddos. The service was okay. The person at the register didn't bother to greet us when we walked in and not friendly. They were out of bagels by 11:30 am and when our hot food was ready, we were not notified. Hopefully it was just an "off" day and would consider coming back for another try. Heard this is a good neighborhood spot and crowded on weekends.

Grabbed a beverage with my husband on their patio yesterday during happy hour. The specials were good but the bartender was really awesome- so nice!!! The bathrooms definitely needed attention, but otherwise it was a nice time.

Friends of mine recently visited on what was apparently a street sweeping day. While it is certainly the driver's responsibility to look at street signs it would take seconds for the staff to put up a sign at the door alerting clients of such a thing. $50 is a hefty fee. Again, it just shows that there is no interest, other than opening the door doors. The concept "open and they will come" does not work in the long run. You'll see.

Such a cute place! They have a cute picture area inside and plenty of outside seating. This is a great place to go get a drink and let the kiddos play (when it's warm out). The nachos were pretty good, however kind of dry. The bartender was nice and patient and make some delicious drinks. I look forward to going back and trying some of their seasonal specialty drinks!

This is a great place for parents who want to get out but have their your young kids in tow. The outdoor space is so nice with umbrellas at the tables and a couple of play structures for kids (unshaded). Indoor is also very cute and stylish. The nachos looked great but without queso they were dry. The portion size is huge which I can appreciate but would not order again due to dryness. They put a generous amount of bbq sauce but overal I found it overpowering and not the creamy element that could have elavated the dish. My French 75 was delicious and my toddler fully enjoyed his chocolate milk. The service was great, ordered at the counter and then picked up our drinks at the bar. We were given a food buzzer and picked up food at counter once it buzzed.

Cool spot but be prepared to wait if you order anything. 30 minutes for a drip coffee, latte, and bagel with cream cheese.

Great dining options like Nozomi and Ramen Star across the street. This building seems to have some history to it, with the exposed brick wall behind the counter. Feels like it could've been a soda shop back in the day! The space is quaint and minimally decorated. They boast a robust menu of drinks and snacks. Got my usual coffee shop order, an Iced Americano and breakfast burrito. Coffee was good, providing a much needed caffeine jolt. The burrito was above average compared to other cafes. The pork had excellent flavor. Service was very friendly and the store was quiet for the few hours I worked on my laptop. They have lots of pastries and a sizeable drink menu with protein lattes, smoothies, teas, etc. I think I need to add this one back to the rotation. I used to frequent their Broadway location when it was open, I'm bummed it closed! Alright Cherry Bean, I'm glad to be reacquainted after a long absence!

I grabbed the cloud matcha and was in heaven. Each sip I was sad to drink, since it would mean the experience would be over soon! I knew of this place, but had never been until the new year began after it was recommended to me by another Yelp Elite (shout out Caroline!). From the outside looking in, you might not know this is a coffee shop. Very minimal signage from 38th. However when you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and a warm welcome almost instantaneously. They brand themselves as an Indonesian specialty coffee shop. I think it's cool that they've have a special Lunar New Year menu. And their pastry game is top notch, sourcing from heavy hitters like GetRight's and Banh & Butter. But for me, I can't help myself from ordering their espresso tonic. They pair the espresso with a coconut yuzu tonic, with a hint of vanilla, and a dried lemon wheel for garnish. It's sweeter than what I typically enjoy, however it's so damn delicious and refreshing! OBSESSED. It normally gets crowded in here, with plenty of people like me working remotely on their laptops. The owners are also extremely nice and have been behind the counter every time I've been. Coffeegraph has quickly risen to the core of my coffee shop rotation! I hope you give 'em a try!

Easy to get to this location as well as find street parking. Coffee to go as well as flavorful and filling food. Almost everything on the menu is vegan/vegetarian or "regular" so that's a huge plus. Something for everyone! Breakfast is the main event but they do lunch stuff also. I mean seriously DELICIOUS food. I'm a veggie but anyone that has tried whatever I ordered said it competes with the standard meat option if not surpasses it. Respect. Best vibes with the music they play. Staff is friendly and quick to check on you and call your order out. Patio if you'd like to sit outside but it only holds a few groups. Inside is nice and airy with some taller community tables and lower two top or four to six top tables. Line moves quicker for drinks but the food is speedy for sure. Just made with love and attention. I've never had a meal look less than or sloppy. Attention to detail is top notch. Food can be fun and comforting and still kid ass. They also do some boozier options if that's your vibe. They run off Toast for their POS but are also on InKind which is a solid app. You can order on their website or via InKind. If you know, you KNOW. Busier Saturday and Sundays but that is to be expected. Mornings will get busy for nearby people but it's always worth popping in. Thanks for all you do crew!

There were a few available shortly around 9:15am Sunday when we arrived and a small line already as they open at 9am. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. One person came to get drink orders to help things move forward. They have a lot of food (vegan menu/option for many items) as well as non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. They had a small case of raccoon bakery pastries as well. The raspberry (fresh not the canned crap) pop tart was a delightful treat to eat while we waited for a take out order. The drip coffee is pour your own with simple syrup, cinnamon, oat milk and regular along with lids and sleeves. Very good I think a medium to dark roast. The pickled things were amazing. They were pickles and in a delicious brine. It is $6 and you get four cut into quarters. The chopped cheese was a great size and the optional sunny side egg made it feel brunch worthy. I'd get this again. There is a vegan option for this as well as most of their other selections. My wife tried the vegan boujee which comes on focaccia with tofu & just egg scramble, a herb vegan cheese spread, greens, muhammara (roasted red pepper and walnut spread) and za'atar. She found it had too many ingredients. While she liked the vegan aspect of it the sandwich was just too busy. My sister in-law chose the special which was fried chicken on a biscuit with egg, Tasso ham and gravy. She said it was good but very heavy without anything to cut through the fat. It is priced similarly to other restaurants which is a bit pricey. It does add up quickly so uncertain if I'll be back to Odie B's anytime soon.

Did someone say ceremonial Matcha? Hell to the yea!…read more I had bookmarked this place for our stay in Denver on our trek from California. We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.
