I went to Kaua'i knowing that I wanted to leave having bought/ordered a custom heirloom ring. My…read morefamily usually buys theirs from Oahu so I was on my own finding a place in Kaua'i. This place hardly had any reviews (as did others) so I visited a couple to see their work. What I liked about this place was that they were very friendly and helpful so I was sold. Tony helped me create a customized heirloom ring. My vacation was almost over so he had to send it to me after he made it- which brings me to my second thought that HE MADE IT. Other jewelers were going to send my order to a third party so I would have had to wait longer than I wanted (about a month to a month and a half). Tony said it would take him about 2 weeks to ship it out to me. I got a confirmation email from him a few days later saying that my ring was ready to ship! Overall it took a little less than 2 weeks to get to me and it was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely come back to this place/order from them for as long as they're open. You can trust them!

Souvenirs like magnets and cups are great, but I am so happy that I found a couple of pieces designed right here in Kauai that I can wear forever! There were a lot of classic pieces, and some island themed and sourced. Located in a very charming, but small shopping center (pro tip: there's a yummy bakery across the way). I was able to meet the owners and they were very friendly and showed me a lot of pieces. They were very patient, and not pushy at all. They were also very knowledgeable. I was also able to purchase a couple pieces for under $100 for gifts. I definitely recommend popping in whether you are local or visiting.

Nice selection of Hawaiian boutique clothing, including Tori Richards. I would recommend this place…read morefor a quality Hawaiian souvenir that will last longer than a cheap t-shirt or sarong. The clothing prices are fairly expensive, but the quality of the fabric for both the Tori Richards and Pineapples pieces is very good. Great pricing on sterling silver jewelry, although I cannot speak to the value on the local pearls. The clothing had a nice range of sizes, although was somewhat lacking in women's size medium for some styles. I visited the shop three times over the course of a week-long stay nearby (my indecisive husband was picking out a shirt), and I did not experience the poor service highlighted in other reviews. Each time, the clerk welcomed us and was ready to answer any questions. I also got a good, informative overview on the local pearls and why their selection has some imperfections from one of the clerks while my husband was trying on shirts, without feeling pressured to buy jewelry.

She didn't even bother greeting me or my daughter and she was just in front of us as we walked in. But I noticed that she was welcoming other customers who came in the store! (Things that make you wonder!) I asked her a question about the clothes designer and she didn't even bother to look me in the eye when she responded. Instead she made it a point to talk to another customer ! At that point I was done. I work in the travel industry and good customer service is number one for me! I provide it and I expect it , especially if you work in a major tourist destination where you can ruin someone's day by just being plain rude and unwelcoming. Anyway I left and went to Ayatar, the clothes boutique across from this store. The sales person at Ayatar was friendly and accommodating so I bought $500 worth of stuff from her because I always reward good customer service.
