    Lobster Roll with Poutine Fries
    L S.

Casual atmosphere with waterside dining outside, not dog friendly on the deck. Blue Moon not on draft, usually is and my bad for not asking as they had a draft list with some good choices. Sliders are decent size, salmon had a bourbon glaze, lobster roll was filled with cream cheese and okay. Crab cakes are pan seared and on the small side. Fries are hot and decent. Little on the higher price point but decent portions. Parking is along the road and pinched between the building and water prohibits any large lot. There is a crazy deep pot hole and some odd cement obstacles, so night exits beware. Friday offered up a guitar player and a nice summer sunset. Attentive bar service.

Cozy little place by the water. We visited in January so we were unable to get the full experience but I bet it would be great in the Summer. Lobster roll was meh, I prefer chucks over ground. The Birra tacos on the other hand were delicious. I very much enjoyed my ceasar salad and fries as well. Service was great!

Just an awesome place for outdoor seating alongside some water, definitely summer vibes! And plenty of indoor seating in the a/c too. My only negative is some of the drinks and cocktails were a little pricey. I had heard about all the different flights they offered and tried the Bloody Mary flight which was tasty but $24!! (That's ridiculous, expecting maybe $15) Happy to say the food was both tasty and reasonably priced. I got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious, with amazing range of flavors and the salsa was very good too. My dad got the perch sandwich and instead of expecting one sandwich he got 3 big sliders! So both food options were $14ish and came with a side. All in all I'd definitely recommend as a great spot and good food but watch the drink prices or the tab will get pricey.

    Obstacles in the parking lot

This place looked cool from the pictures so we decided to go here for date night. I am going to get the BIG negative thing out of the way. The Parking Lot. This is by far one of the worst parking lots for a restaurant to have, it is very long and the width almost has 2 cars touching, it takes a lot to park in a space without hitting another car, they also have 2 HUGE concrete blocks in parking spaces they makes it even harder to park and the roadway of the parking lot is all torn up and potholes everywhere, if you do come here be aware of having a horrible parking experience. Ok so now that is out of the way, there was a lot of people here so I figured the food had to be great, we had a wait time of about 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad at all. We got seated by the water which was nice and it had a lot of nice views from our table. We first ordered drinks, I ordered the fishbowl and my wife ordered a Margarita. When we got our drinks, the fishbowl was in a plastic fishbowl that was all dented up and cracked and the wife ordered a Margarita that was so sour she couldn't even drink it, it was by far one of the worst margaritas I have ever tasted which sucks because they used Casamigos, a top notch Tequila. We also ordered food, we had the Brussel Sprouts and Poutine Fries as an appetizer, the Brussel Sprouts were really good and the Jalapeño slices were spicy which was awesome and the Poutine Fries were good, needed a little extra salt but other than that it was good. For our dinner I ordered the Birria Ramen and the wife ordered the Perch Dinner. Both meals were really good, the ramen noodles were cooked perfectly and sauce tasted amazing, it also came with a taco which I didn't eat cause I was way too full. I have to say the ambience of this place is nice and relaxing and our waiter was amazing, we had no complaints cause he was on the go and fast moving. The only issue we had was the parking lot and her margarita, other than that everything was great. Just don't order the margarita and ride a bike here and you will be fine.

    Cookie flight

The ambiance is very cute. Very well decorated for the holidays. We got three flights, mimosa, espresso and cookie. The espresso flight had the most bang for your buck. The cookie flight shows a cookie shot glass, that's not the case. Bang bang shrimp were very good. House salad is mediocre. Guacamole deviled eggs were missing a main component of chorizo. The veggie bowl was missing the portabella mushrooms. It's disappointing that the kitchen missed key components of their dishes. I'd say this is a drinks spot, not drinks and dinner. We enjoyed the drinks

We had the Perch and comes with 2 sides.. we both got the side salads and this place definitely passes " The Ranch" test !!! The perch was cooked to order, came with 5 pieces and a delicious Tarter sauce. The place was pretty hoppin for a snowy Saturday night! Would cone again next visit to MI.

The view is beautiful here. I recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity. Our server was super friendly and helpful in answering questions about my meal due to dietary restrictions. They did forget our appetizer first so we ended up eating it with our main meal. I recommend the chips trio. It comes with homemade chips, salsa, queso and guacamole. The salad i ordered was good but the price was a little steep for the price. My sister and her friend both got the salmon sliders and would recommend

Wow! Finally The Quarry in Monroe delivered The food & service matched the view! Everything was amazing from the time we sat down to the time we were done. We chose to sit on the patio. The breeze was perfect & kept us cool while sipping on yummy craft cocktails enjoying our chips & salsa appetizer. I chose to order the brussel sprouts & a bowl of lobster bisque- all made to perfection. He chose the chicken & waffles sandwiches & the poutine- so yummy I couldn't keep my fork out of it! The service was speedy & attentive- so refreshing due to the new ownership! It's nice to have this place in Monroe. It sure feels like you're on vacation while dining here! Give The Quarry a chance (or another.) You will be satisfied with the quality service, views, & eats it has to offer!

The vibes are awesome! But the wait can be a bit long if you're going on the weekend. Drinks are amazing and food is good. All the staff is on the younger side tho, so give them some patience as they learn the ropes!

Breakfast toast with salmon and egg that is not cooked

Really nice restaurant but the kitchen , we've been waiting for our food for over an hour and my son's steak was dry and hard like a bottom of my shoe ‍ my wife's egg wasn't done and the house potatoes were soaked with the oil

Road trip. Found this little spot off the map and decided to try it. Very nice people. Beautiful outside patio. The food was pretty good too. The sauce on the calamari was so good. My chicken and waffles hit the spot and my husband really enjoyed the birria ramen.

Really had a great dinner here last week while passing through town on my way to Detroit. First…read morereally nice place on the inside it may look a bit old on the outside and well this place apparently has been around for a long time and dates back to the 30's. I reviewed the menu and they had one of my favorite ls walleye either pan fried or deep fried. It came with a side of pasta and a salad. The pasta was excellent with a very savory sauce. The fish was amazing and one of my favorites. Very fresh and they gave me two huge pieces. All meals also come with complimentary bread. The salad was very good too. Service was very attentive during my visit. I would highly recommend visiting Jerrys with great fish and excellent Italian food.

What an odd restaurant Joe's French-Italian is. From the name, to the decor, it's all just a little…read morestrange. We came out excited by the expansive menu we found online. Our entire group had already decided what they were going to get and unfortunately were handed one sided-paper menus with a much shorter list of options. When we expressed disappointed, our very pleasant server let us know they knew they needed to update the website. The six of us ordered a little bit of everything available, and my only complaint was with my ribeye. Overcooked would be an understatement, and the truly bizarre "sizzle" they offer at table side just made everything taste like burnt and sooty worcestershire. Bad performance art with an up-charge. That said, the food in general was pretty good, if not a little quirky. The garlic bread bites, for example, were clearly chopped up pieces of grocery store biscuits, the kind that come raw in tubes. Still good! The atmosphere and just everything else is a little off, but I would argue mostly in the best ways possible. For the price, you might want to head into the city for something better, but for where it is, I would say it's a fantastic option for those looking for a nice evening out.
