it was y first visit,I went to location. I order pizza inside and there were only 2 chairs inside to wait in and they were full so the manager who took my order I said can I just wait in my car until it's done and he said sure I'll bring it out to you. He said10-15 minutes. I saw several people enter and about 10 minutes they left with a pizza. I looked at my watch and it's was 35 minutes, while I was waiting home kept texting where is the pizza. I said to myself this is crazy, I walked in and the manger and his 4-5 boys were in the back shooting the bull. WTF! I said where is my pizza the manager acted like he never saw me and then looked on the warming tray and found it. I said I paid you a 3.00 tip to bring it out when it was done. If you order from Buscemi's Monroe, expect to wait a very long time for delivery (even if you live right by it and it is not during peak hours) and sloppy, embarrassingly made pizza. I feel a picture is worth a thousand words, so I've included two. I have been a loyal customer since my move to the Newport/Monroe area, but this is the last time I will order from Buscemi's. Pizza is always amazing here! But not so much the service. Waited over an hour on delivery which is crazy since I live close and it was before the rush on a Monday. If this was rectified effectively by the staff it would have been a 5star. Instead it was like they didn't care. I consult for businesses so I'm always harsh on the service because I grew up in the restaurant bar industry. Wanted to try someplace different and went here. I had the Pizza steak and cheese sub. I was a little worried in the beginning with sliced ribeye and pizza sauce but it was really good. My wife had the Italian Trio and really liked it as well. They were only about $8.50 ea. And we had to try the large supreme too for $15 I think. Ordered 2 xl pizzas and they were horrible. The crust was so thin like a thin pizza and all the toppings fall off before u get it to ur plate. It was prepared in a hurry and not like a normal pizza. I usually get Busemis and it's been almost a year and thought we would try it and it was a complete disaster for dinner. What a bust. There was hair in my ranch and the delivery guy obviously didn't follow my deliver instructions. I clearly stated to leave the food then knock and you can go he kept knocking and stood there which was very annoying. He then proceeded to ask if I paid for it already, I was thinking did you not read the whole order I obliviously ordered online and you didn't give 2 hoots about what the delivery instructions were. Always loved the pizza/sandwiches, but the last 3 orders have been totally screwed up at the Monroe St. location. Last night ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 subs & 1 wrap. They made them all subs. I requested that the wrap be re-made. I was there about 45 minutes while they remade the wrap. The other sandwiches should have been remade as well to ensure freshness, but they were not even kept warm. The wrap itself was totally sub-par, the tortilla was over done on one side and mushy on the other. This never happened when the owner was on site. We are very regular customers but will hesitate or order from there from now on. read more

Whether it is a sub/grinder or their pizzas, they are full of flavor and always hot. Even the salads are fresh and proportions of food to cost is very reasonable. Do not eat at any Monroe Buscemi's. I went on to order a pizza three different times and each time there was no hand washing before making my pizza after handeling cash. I spoke with the owner and his excuse was a bad day. Funny thing is the owner even doesn't wash his hands before making subs and pizzas. Hopefully anyone eating here does not get sick. I have reported to the health Dept, but they still continue not to wash. The pizza is very tasty, but I will never eat here again. Buscemi's is the best pizza in town. They're one of a rare few pizza places that know how to sauce a pizza. They have a full menu of sandwiches, wings and subs and their delivery is fast and friendly. We get Buscemi's once a week and it's the only place I ever recommend for pizza. read more

Owner was incredibly rude, he did not want to honor coupons that they put out because they would be "losing money," that really should not be something that the customer is told. I ordered a large Greek salad which I was incredibly disappointed when I got home to find that the lettuce was all brown. We will not be returning. I joined the rewards program but every time I call to get the coupon price they never give it to me. I call the Newport Stores and they tell me they can never find it. I unsubscribed from the program and will never order here again. It is sad because the Pizza is pretty good. Try Mary Sacco's instead. When we called the Monroe store to speak with a manager the call taker was very nasty when we asked to speak to a manager. After the last two time the manager said we would have store credit, which me never got. The manager said there is nothing he could do about it and said he was sorry.
