This place is awesome! I was in the mood for Indian food, so I checked my map and found Nimas…read moreCuisine. The menu looked good, and the reviews so far were enough to get my husband and I to try it. There are two booth-type tables and four tables with four chairs each. It was plenty to feel comfortable to dine in. When we approached the counter, we discovered they had both Mexican and Indian food. We were very kindly greeted. We asked a couple of questions and then settled on the Tandoori chicken and the goat curry and some garlic naan. The gentleman at the counter, the chef, I believe, was proud to say the naan was made by hand. We knew it was a lot of food for the two of us, but we figured we could take home whatever we didn't eat there. Once we chose our table, a very kind woman brought out glasses with ice and a pitcher of ice water for our table. She also brought a small plate of chips with two salsas. It was good to hold us until our lunch came out. The goat curry with rice, a small salad, and the naan was plenty for us to share. We were told the curry is mild unless you want it spicy. I can't tolerate hot, but my husband loves it. The curry was on the verge of being too hot for me, but I managed. It was perfect for my husband. It had so much flavor that I couldn't turn it down. The chef brought out a sample of their raita for me; yogurt with cucumber and carrots. That helped me handle the heat of the curry. We had just about finished the curry when our Tandoori chicken came out sizzling on the skillet. It's all made fresh, so the chicken took a bit longer to prepare. It was delicious! The chicken was juicy and flavorful! And just like we figured, plenty to take home to have for dinner! We were checked on several times during our visit. The food and service were amazing! This will definitely be added to our list of favorite restaurants!

I also ordered some basmati rice to go with it. The portion size was generous. I was able to make several meals. The curry is a semi-dry type which is not particularly saucy. Rice is perfect with it as well as naan. The amount of bitterness will vary depending on the slice of gourd that is eaten. Some were mild in taste, while others were more bitter. Overall, there was a nice balance with the soft, caramelized onions cooked with the Karela. Definitely something different to try especially here in this area. The samosas I also ordered were good as well. They were filled with potatoes and peas. The samosas came with a green chutney made with fresh chilis. It had a fair amount of heat and went well with the fried samosas. A good place to stop for an Indian meal. Mexican food is also available.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS…read more Rating: 0/5 (Negative stars if physics allowed it) If you have any self-respect, do not set foot in this establishment. Calling this place a "restaurant" is an insult to the hospitality industry; it is a chaotic, incompetent holding cell where hunger goes to die. We were held hostage at our table for over an hour and a half waiting for food. 90 minutes. We watched other tables stand up and flee--literally walking out the door--because the kitchen is apparently run by sloths. Did the staff care? Absolutely not. They wandered around with a level of apathy that was genuinely disturbing, rude, and completely useless. Then came the punchline: THEY RAN OUT OF PLATES. Let that sink in. A restaurant. That ran out of plates. Their excuse? "They are in the dishwasher for the next 30 minutes." We have four starving children with us, and instead of solving the problem, we were forced to get up, walk to the counter, and fetch our own flimsy paper plates like we were at a sad, underfunded backyard picnic. To top off the insult, they handed us a roll of industrial paper towels instead of napkins. It was pathetic. When the torture finally ended, it took another 25 minutes just to get the bill so we could escape. When we asked the staff to explain this disaster, the only response we got was a shrug and a "What can I do?" Here is what you can do: Close the doors. Sell the building. Spare the public. The only reason I didn't call the police for robbery is that they didn't charge the automatic gratuity--probably because they knew we were on the verge of a riot. This place is a joke. The service is nonexistent, the management is invisible, and the experience was nauseating. If you value your time, money, and sanity, run far, far away.

Mouthwatering food with tons of options…read more This is a place to try whether you are vegetarian or not. We went for lunch and it was busy but we were still able to get a table immediately. The staff is friendly and helpful and we loved how many options the menu had. The dry chili paneer was just the right spice for me and very flavorful. My husband enjoyed a masala. But hands down I loved the Frankie street food! We will definitely bring our friends back here!

Okay so I think most of the recent reviews get this...their service is garbage and non existent…read more Also don't get any cocktails...it took them 90+ minutes for them to get me the cocktail that I ordered. I honestly don't think it's worth coming here even if the food is not bad because their service is that atrocious. Some food is fantastic...others I'm rather meh about. Pani puri 4/5. Herbed potatoes and the sweet tamarind sauce are fantastic. The tangy water...it's not heavy enough in seasoning for my liking. When you bite into it it's like a fluffy crispy airy dough shell with the texture of boiled eggs but the flavor reminds me of samosas... Also the fried dough thing on top to add the extra crunch is nice Bombay vada pav - 5/5 soft pillowy potato bread with spiced potato fritter.. just yes. They give you additional chilli peppers which honestly are a little too spicy for me.... And the mint chutney is really spicy too.... But the tamarind sauce is tangy and more tart/ and different from the tamarind sauce w/ Pani puri. I absolutely loved this and this was the best thing on the menu. Stuffed mushrooms with cheese - 3.5/5 the cheese does cut into spice from other foods but it's not a dish i think is worth ordering. The tomato flavor is strong and I barely taste coriander or other spices because the tomato overpowered everything else. I don't know what biryani I had because it's not on the menu anymore as I'm writing the review as of 3.28.26 but that was a 2/5. That was terrible. Portion size fantastic but God .... Frozen peas carrots green bean mixture killed this. There was barely any spice or flavor. I genuinely was disappointed. Cocktail.. 0.5/5 It took them 1 hour and 30 minutes before I got my cocktail. Wtf why is it only one person knows how to make cocktails and why is that the person greeting people. Please get more and better staff so that they can actually be doing one job only. For reference I ordered the cocktail "vessel of shakti" and honestly... It gave me artificial candy strawberry daiquiri mix. The coconut water is lost in flavors. I did not taste like. Skip this. Just don't order cocktails because only 1 person knows how to make them. .5 only because the person making the drink was genuinely apologetic and busy. The service here is absolute shit. You can't flag people down, they'll ignore you if you're not Indian so rubbish service. But also the waiters seem really pissed off and don't want to be here. This experience was so bad I wouldn't even consider coming here even if the food was good. This restaurant is super over hyped for the experience and price.
