Kids quest may as well be called godsend for parents because this is just something that does not exist anywhere in my experience as a parent of a four and seven-year-old! The staff was incredibly helpful in getting this oriented to the experience and help the kids. We got signed up really quickly and the kids were in and having a blast in no time which let us head back to the casino to check it out and also explore Apex. The kids told us they had an absolute blast in space and that the counselors were friendly and kind and helpful, and that they couldn't wait to return. Personally, I want to come vacation at Redhawk again just because I know this exists and it means that I could enjoy dinner with my wife or even head out and find something fun to eat or do in Placerville surrounding area because this place is open late! Yes, this is an awesome addition to a hotel property and every hotel should consider, including something like this because by God did we spend some money after we left here. So good!

This past weekend a group of 20 or so of us came in for my daughter's 12th birthday. I didn't order a party package but they accommodated us. Brandon, our server, was so patient as each of our guests arrived. He always checked in to make sure we had what we needed. My daughter and her cousins (and all the adults as well) had so much fun. The large bounce house section also caught the kids' attention and they spent a lot of time there. A few things could be improved though. The cleanliness was questionable. The hand sanitizer stations were empty and the bathrooms were pretty gross. With this many kids running around, those areas should really be kept up better. The biggest issue was the pizza for the party. We were not told we needed to request a different cut to make more slices for the kids. The pizza came out in large slices that could feed two kids each, but there were not enough slices for the number of children at the table. If the host had mentioned the party cut option, it would have made feeding everyone much easier. Overall the kids still had fun because there is a lot to do here, but better communication and better cleanliness would improve the experience

I grew up playing video games, and I still play here and there, so I already knew this place was going to be pure nostalgia for me and it definitely was. I was a kid in a candy story and totally geeking out! Walking around the store brought back so many childhood memories. They had games I honestly haven't seen in over 30 years, along with all kinds of consoles and games from different generations. Some of these games I probably would never play again, but just seeing them on the shelves took me back. It was cool seeing the old-school Nintendo video game magazines. Some of those magazines have to be close to 30 years old! The entire store was basically one big nostalgia trip. I didn't end up buying anything, but I still enjoyed just walking around and checking everything out. If you grew up gaming or have played on different systems over the past 40 years, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
