Everything tasted so good, the wings were a spotlight, the Asian zing flavor was delicious, a nice spice level with a little sweetness. I highly recommend the up charge for sweet potato fries, they paired so well with the ranch. I will say it's a smaller space but they do have a more family friendly area that's not too close to the bar. Our waitress was super friendly and did so well staying attentive during a busy and seemingly short staffed shift. I really enjoy Jackson's and like to stop by every now and then for some drinks and wings. The food…read moreis consistently solid--especially the honey sriracha wings, which are my favorite! I've also tried a few other menu items, and you really can't go wrong. The menu is similar to the other Jackson's locations in the area, which makes it easy to know what to expect. Service tends to be a bit slow, but it's usually understandable since we sit in the bar area, and the bartender is often responsible for both the bar and the nearby tables. They do their best, and we're typically in no rush. That said, one of our more recent visits was a little disappointing. We stopped in around 3 p.m. on a Sunday, and the atmosphere was unusually chaotic. The music was very loud--so loud that it was hard to hear the bartender and even carry on a conversation with my husband. There was also a group of rowdy patrons being obnoxious, whistling, and vaping indoors. I get that it's a bar, and a lively crowd is part of the vibe, but vaping inside should've been addressed. A simple reminder from staff to take it outside would have helped. Overall, I still like Jackson's for a casual hangout with great wings, but I'd appreciate a little more attention to the atmosphere when it starts to get out of hand.

Our recent visit to Who's On Third left much to be desired. The ambiance was dim, and the service…read morefelt incredibly rushed from the start. Drinks arrived, followed almost immediately by appetizers, and then two entrees simultaneously, with the remaining dishes trickling out over the next 15 minutes. This disjointed timing meant some of us waited a considerable amount of time for our food while others at the table had already received theirs. The quality of the food was a major letdown. Several dishes suffered from poor preparation; the fries were hard, and the cheese curds were visibly overcooked, suggesting old oil. While the spinach dip itself was good, it was served with stale chips. My dad's Friday fish fry was particularly disappointing, with the cod tasting less than fresh due to the oil. My girlfriend enjoyed her chicken bacon wrap, but found the macaroni and cheese overwhelmingly cheesy and unseasoned. When my grilled chicken sandwich finally arrived, I discovered they'd forgotten the lettuce, and the chicken itself was chewy. My mother's burger was simply "okay." Overall, the experience felt overpriced for the quality received. The lack of attentiveness from our server, who never once checked on our food if it was tasting good or not, only added to our dissatisfaction. We left questioning who really is on third, as the entire dining experience was far from what we'd hoped for.

Nestled among a lively stretch of bars and restaurants, it has a fun atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in for a few hours. I stopped by during March Madness, and despite it being the middle of the day, the place was buzzing with fans watching the tournament. The bartender--who was the only one working at the time--did a phenomenal job keeping up with the crowd. While drinks occasionally took a little longer, she handled the rush with professionalism and a great attitude. One thing that really stood out was the bar itself; it's impressively long, possibly the biggest I've seen in a venue of this size. The food was exactly what you want from a sports bar: satisfying, flavorful, and the perfect complement to an afternoon of college basketball. I'd definitely stop back to watch another game.

Introduction including Milwaukee Sports:…read more Final of 3 reviews representing 3rd quarter of 2021 in scrapbook series is Brat House. In September 2021, I went on a Chicago/Milwaukee vacation. I attended 3 baseball games: White Sox, Cubs, & Brewers (in chronological order) on 3 consecutive days with my friend who joined me for the vacation. Of the 3 baseball games I went to my conclusion is Go Brewers! My favorite basketball team, Phoenix Suns, where I'm from before living in the DC area the past 15 years, lost to Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 championship, which was disappointing. But I was happy for the Bucks as they seemed to be a nice team and was glad it wasn't Lakers, Knicks, or Spurs. Speaking of the Bucks, Milwaukee Brat House is right by where the Bucks play in what they call the Deer District. Experience: My friend was a bit crazy. He wanted to go to a baseball game a 4th consecutive night for a 2nd time in a row for Brewers. As great of time as I had, I wanted to see other things in Milwaukee. So, I drove around the around seeing various things. Then, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat for dinner and gravitated to the deer district area. I walked along Doctor MLK Jr Drive, a nice corridor with various bars & restaurants. I settled on Milwaukee Brat House. I ate outside as it was pretty busy, was hungry and just wanted to eat. I ended up getting a bratwurst and cheese curds. I think they had BOGO beer as I had 2 beers (as pictured). Brat was great, but I stopped eating pork not long after; so I'd probably get a standard hot dog. The #1 selling point for me was getting cheese curds. When in Rome in Wisconsin, I wanted more cheese curds. They were awesome! The beer was great too; I purposefully picked some local beer company. The server was nice & helpful too. Overall, a great choice.

The cheese curds were also delicious and are a must-try if you're visiting Wisconsin. The bratwurst was very good and full of flavor. Our server was very honest with her recommendations, including the pork slider, and her recs did not disappoint. The pork one alone had good depth, especially with it being a slider. We also got the cheesy jalapeño corn dip which was delicious. One thing they advertise is their beer list, and it did not disappoint. For those looking for a challenge, you can join their brew crew which entails trying the continuous cycle of new beers they have to attempt to get your name on the board and move up in the ranks.
